Don't order outside USA!!! Fraud with customs chargers!

"Ordered face cream (Anthony Logistics For Men Ingrown Hair Treatment, £23.21 GBP) for my boyfriend as part of his gift.

QUOTING from their website: "Free Shipping. Our policy is simple: We'll ship almost anything on our site to anywhere in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Singapore, Sweden, Denmark, New Zealand and Canada for FREE. No minimums. No kidding. UK Shipments:4-10 business days. *Great Britain orders are dispatched from the USA or Sweden and delivered via Royalmail shipping services with full tracking information. Please allow 4-10 business days for delivery."

There's nothing mentioned about customs charges anywhere!

My boyfriends birthday passed (THANK YOU!) still no cream, finally got a notice from Royal Mail that my package is in post office after 2 weeks... and I had to pay extra £12.50 GBP for customs charges!

£35.71 GBP for a face cream that took 2 weeks to deliver, f**king amazing!

Someone mentioned that they found it "in the FAQs section saying 'customers' are responsible for customs charges", yet I don't see anything. If they don't display it openly on the website or before a customer makes the purchase it's simply fraud.

"What a con! No mention of customs VAT tax to be paid! Free shipping to UK, appearing in UK sponsored searches! Yeah right, nasty little business!!! "

Do not buy if you live in the UK

"If you live in the UK you will be charged customs duty which makes whatever you order very expensive. I have seen other people here have been caught out. They are very careful not to mention this when purchasing your product and when I complained they were totally disinterested. Not a customer friendly caring company to deal with. "

They don't add VAT to the advertized price!

"They don't add VAT to the advertized price! You suddenly get the increased price only after you wasted time shopping and filling the form with your address. I guess they hope the customer won't notice (especially if several products are bought). Absolutely unacceptable. I'll better pay to HONEST suppliers.

And after I saw after reviews, I'm very happy that I didn't order. Because on top of that I'll get terrible currency conversion rate. Plus, as they say, customer support number is not working as well. I wonder why this terrible shop has decent rating on google (otherwise I'd notice the problem straight away and won't even go to their website)

Don't use this site if you are in UK

"The price information on the site is in £. Only when I received confirmation from paypall I noticed extortionate charge for currency conversion. Have I known that is the case I wouldn't have ordered it. I tried to dial the number given for customers - it is unavailable from UK. It must be an American number and should be given American dialing code with it, to alert the customers. "

Deception

"They tell you the item is one price, and when you check your bank statement they have taken £10 more! Complete and utter liars, don't be fooled into buying from this company as they will charge you in USD and also charge you VAT on top when they don't tell you this when you are paying!"

"I found an item on Bloomingway.com through a Google product search. It was cheaper at Amazon but Amazon didn't offer free shipping so I decided to order from Bloomingway. While shopping I abandoned my order at one point and got an email with a coupon code for 5% off if I ordered within 48 hours. Sadly the coupon code didn't work. Regardless, I placed the order and got an order number and an email from Blooingway that the order was successful.

A short while later I got an email from Bloomingway that the order was refunded. No mention why. I logged in to my account to check the order and still no explanation as to why it was refunded. No harm you might say except that I paid with a foreign currency credit card which means the charge and the refund have different exchange rates and the payor ends up losing a small amount on the differential.

I didn't want to write this without giving Bloomingway a chance to respond so I called their number during their very limited business hours and on my dime (no toll free). After seemingly endless ringing a machine kicked in and I left a message. No call back. I sent a message through my account. I got a reply within an hour or two saying the product ordered can't be shipped outside the USA.

This whole experience was way harder than it should be. Save yourself the hassle and order from a real merchant.

"Excellent packaged, with lots of care. The Yves concealer It is pricy but, worth every penny. The Yves concealer Anti=Cernes is no longer available at the stores. The concealer blends with a brush or fingers tips, does not cake up, stays in place. It's a great product for any age and it's not stiff as the Mac Studio finish Concealers."
