"I purchased two sheer shades from Blindster. At about $600 each ($1,200 for the pair), they were a lot less expensive than Hunter Douglas and so I decided to place the order. The shades arrived and I installed them. Within 10 minutes, the one shade was torn. I have had temporary paper shades that are better quality than this. I complained to Blindster.com who informed me that the sheer shades are one of their premier products and don't fall under the satisfaction guaranteed. Let me say that again. Their premier products don't fall under their satisfactin guarantee. They are offering to replace the torn shade but that means that a few weeks from now, I'll have terrible quality shades with no future satisfaction or quality guarantee. I will never again buy from this company and I strongly recommend that others look elsewhere for their window treatment needs."
"Found Blindster through a family member. I ordered 1% openness solar shades and blackout solar shades to finish upgrading window coverings throughout my home. We got them in less than a week and my son installed them so easily and quickly. The Mocha color I ordered in the 1% openness matches the color schemes in my office, my bathroom and my shoe room perfectly. I love the fact that during the day, we are able to see out of them just fine, but the rooms (with the lights off) are so much darker since they block UV rays. The blackout solar shades in my son's room are fantastic, they block so much sun out during the day, that it feels like night in the room 24/7. On the bottom of one shade, the sealing had come undone, but I simply presented a photo to Blindster and within a week I had a new shade that popped into the same brackets. Instead of returning a very usable shade, they allowed us to donate it to Habitat for Humanity. How great! These shades are a definite upgrade from the flimsy aluminum Levelor blinds we had before in more ways than one. I have one more window covering to upgrade that is presenting a bit of a challenge because of it's location, but I will absolutely be using Blindster to finish up the home and recommend it to anyone needing to upgrade their window treatments! "I ordered two sets of blinds, with nearly identical dimensions. One blind was delivered as ordered, the other was 10 inches short. The sticker on the blind was even incorrect as to uts actual length.
They also sent the incorrect instructions for the type of blinds and only half the necessary hardware. I guess their quality check people were out that day, or maybe they just don't do quality."

"I purchased the 2-1/2" Wood Blinds in white. I ordered for about half the house and loved them so much I purchased the same blinds for the rest of the house. The previous owners had put Faux wood blinds where were extremely heavy and beige. Blindsters blinds fit perfectly and were easy to install, they are nice and light, and look beautiful! All the mechanisms work perfectly. I did everything online. They shipped in less than a week. The price was great too! I would highly recommend. "
"They look cheap. string mechanisiums always lock causing you to use your fingers to bring it down. Go up fine. Strings break, plastic rings are tacked on and come off. Small shades have a cover at the top to hide the shade when at the top, but longer times 2 split shades do not. Customer service will replace, but have not figured out how seeing I have them up, and if I have to bring down repack and send back, not worth my time. My suggestion, to not look at first but last. Wait fo 40 percent off and if you do not care how they look or operate then buy. As for me, not a customer for life."

The blinds I ordered were checked and rechecked with their customer service but then they changed the measurements in manufacturing. Then they want more money to fix them so they really do not stand by their product. Buy elsewhere!!"
