"For the high price, these are pretty cheap built,the blades are very dull,they are pretty but will not last, will not absorb being dropped. i bought 2 at 49 dollars 1 at 74 dollars for these prices i could have bought 5 very well american made folding ka-bars,with sheaths ,that are razor sharp and the one i have has fallen off a roof onto concrete with no damage"
"Ordered 4 OTF auto knives as stocking stuffers. Shipping was excellent. Order was completed and shipped same day as ordered. Received the order 4 days later. Bonus knife was a pleasant surprise. Only issue was the knives mis-fired a little right out of the box. Lubricated them with a little WD-40 which corrected this problem. All in all very pleased with the order. Will definitely be ordering more knives in the future."

"When I was a little kid I used to love spending time with my grandpa.. Captain of his own ship in WW2, he was amazing and iconic to me. A man of consistencies, he was all about his "EDC" way before there was a term for it, and among those indispensable items he lived by, (besides his Stetson !), was his pocket knife. He taught me that a man must always have his knife with him.., seems like you guys understand that. There's something for everyone, & all priceranges. "I have ordered twice from Bladeplay now. I had a great first order experience however on my second order I had ordered a stag handle Leverletto, a Bill De Shivs design, which is everything Bladeplay claimed it to be! It's awesome, great looking knife with brass accents and a mirror polished blade which was extremely sharp right out of the box. I love that knife. The second knife in my order was an "economy" version Leverletto style (7.625" Leverlock Black Wood Automatic Knife - Bayonet) design which arrived together with the real Leverletto above. This second knife I had slightly lowered expectations for knowing it was a "cheapo" version of the real thing but I planned to use it as an everyday carry knife for various work related activities but this knife will not fully open! It gets only about 2/3 open and does not fully lock up in the open position-well, if I "help" the blade open the rest of the way it will lock up. The knife is decent looking and also very sharp with a dangerous point but does not operate correctly out of the box. Disappointing for sure especially because it's the holiday season and my delivery date kept getting pushed back several days, one day at a time. I realize this is not Blade Play's fault but all the components of this order come together to create an overall experience, right?
I have had nothing but good experiences in dealing with Blade Play's customer service dept. so I am confident that Blade Play will correct this situation quickly.
Also to Blade Play's advantage was the FREE included Holiday gift I received which was a nice surprise-an embroidered Blade Play knit Beanie hat. Thank you Blade Play- it's nice to see a company who still appreciates and values its customers.
Barring any unforeseen mistreatment about correcting the faulty operating knife I ordered I will absolutely continue to give Blade Play my business."
