Customer service was called and they called Barnett who replaced the crossbow w/o any questions asked. " Customer service was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was looking for a freshwater, hand control, bow mount 75# thrust trolling motor with variable speed, but they were out of stock until Nov. 19th. The salesman suggested that I might consider a saltwater series that was in stock. I'm glad I did because it has a stainless steel shaft instead of aluminum. It also has dual anodes for electrolosis protection against erosion. Trolling motor was shipped very quickly and was well packed. A pleasure to do business with Black Bear Sporting Goods."

"Horrible customer service. I placed an order received my email confirmation and my credit card authorized the purchase. A day later I called to check the status of the order and the woman informed me that my credit card had not been cleared for the shipping address. I immediately called the credit card folks, who verified that they had indeed authorized the purchase and that there was no issue. I called Black Bear back and got the same not so charming person on the phone who continued to argue with me that she personally had not received a call from the credit folks authorizing the shipment, and changing her story added that now one of the items was back ordered! I asked to speak to her supervisor, and her reply was that she IS the supervisor. I asked to speak to anyone else. According to her, she is the only person alive in the building, and refused to help. I told her to cancel the order, which she did, however she did not cancel the credit card authorization which is still holding my $500+, so I cannot shop elsewhere. BEWARE SHOP ELSEWHERE"
