International Buyers be careful!

"Attention international buyers! If something doesn't arrive, DHL doesn't notify you or similar, you'll be held out until you can't repeat the money! If you then get your money back via Paypal, the account is blocked and everything is gone, money, items in the pile of loot, everything. Be careful here!"

EXTREMELY SLOW SHIPPING. REFUSED TO CANCEL. FILED A CHARGEBACK.

"Definitely NOT recommended. There are plenty of other sites to chose from rather than BBTS. A lot of comments on youtube and collectible forums have said their shipping has been slow. After 2 weeks from charging my card, they still had not shipped my item. I told them it's fine if they are swamped but they refused to cancel the order. So I filed a chargeback. No loss. They used to be the best shop to go to though. Not sure what changed. Fortunately, there are better sites that offer better customer service."

Amazing with one problem.

"I am trying to be more even out about my reviews, but I have only one complaint, that I couldn't properly track my package. For some reason, I just couldn't get updates after the ship, which is shady to me is they gave me a number but it didn't work, that being said, I have nothing else bad to say.

I was looking for an FF7 figure on amazon but it was sold out and then the prices rose, so I looked around to find it's the original price or near it and found this store. I looked around and checked reviews and decided to try out a new store. I got the figure near if not at the original price it was being sold as pre-ordered as it tends to be cheaper, and chose the 2nd lowest shipping, wanted it before Christmas.

The reviews mainly complained about shipping, but for me, in the USA area, I got mine shipped about two or so days after buying it and came less than a week after, for an estimated time of it being a week, that, was amazing in itself. Not just that, but rarely get figure boxes in top shape, which this one was, the figure real, checked around, and I love it. Overall a store worth trying out if unable to find good prices on Anime/Video game figures on amazon.

SLOW SHIPPING + BROKEN ITEMS + BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE = SHOP ELSEWHERE

"Vendor consistently demonstrates slow processing times and lackadaisical work ethic.

Recent order did not ship for an entire week (7 days) which is consistent with previous orders.

3 high-end orders arrived damaged. I was told that I'd have to "come and pick the items up in person" if I wanted a replacement.

They apparently do not value professionalism at their in-house customer service department which is managed by two highly unqualified employees (Rebbekah Supervisor / Liz - Manager) who only seem to be proficient at exacerbating customer complaints.

This is definitely not the professional online conglomerate with an outsourced call-center that you're used to. No, this is your lackadaisical mom and pop style retailer founded by 2 toy loving brothers in the backwoods of Wisconsin.

To get a clear picture of the work ethics behind the people running this company just consider their business hours.

They operate M-F from 7am to 3:30pm and are CLOSED on weekends.

3:30pm..? Closed on the weekends...?

Ah, so, that's why our orders take so long to process.....?

They're more concerned about beating the rush-hour traffic than processing orders so they are certainly not going to lift a finger on the weekends.

This business is not built upon a sustainable foundation capable of longevity. It's poorly managed by unqualified employees with lackadaisical work ethics who don't value their customers and lack the motivation or desire to improve their business.

They act like they are doing you favor by selling to you. Sorry, but you're just a retailer selling the same items (albeit, much slower) than the next guy so you better rethink your approach to customer relations as your business is dispensable.

I'm taking my business ($10k annually) elsewhere.

Horrible customer service

"Placed an order with this store and it said they were unable to process the order because my billing address info was incorrect. The billing address is correct and there is no reason the order cannot process. I have made numerous charges on the internet using that card in the previous days, there is just under $20k in available credit and the billing address is correct. Called and forced to leave a message, eventually received a return call from them telling me to go to my account and resubmit payment, however their site does not provide that option, so I call back BBTS and the agent tells me he has no way to reprocess the payment. Clearly, and I can say this as an attorney, they were negligent in processing the payment correctly, so I end up spending all day trying to resolve this and an hour on the phone with my credit card issuer to confirm that there is no reason this payment would have gone through. I can't believe a business would be turning sales away at a time like this? baffling..... very poor business practices warranting a complaint with the BBB"

"I have bought from them for yearrrrrrrrs. They are the best!!! Best service, best selection.
Why would I be writing a review here if I didn't absolutely love them that I would spend this time to do it.
If you have a tiny dot of paint out of place on a figure you get and take out of the box. They aren't going to replace that. If the arm is falling off a figure they will. And, pay the shipping back of forth until you get one with an arm that doesn't fall off.
You have to be reasonable and they are WAY MORE than FAIR.
I have always agree with their assestments. They are the best. Buy from them.

I strongly urge anyone from buying from this company.

"I strongly urge anyone from buying from them unless you live in the continental U.S. Also make sure you read all the information in there help section.

My order took a month to get to my house, then i had to pay border tax on the item; after already paying for air shipping. The shipping box was damage. Also the product is has paint errors; that they charged full price for.

I tried to contact them about all of these problems, to which they responded "that is not there problem".

BBTS is too big for their own good

"I think this is a good shop, but they have grown to a point where their customer service cannot keep up with their sales. My personal experience, BBTS has replaced missing parts and damaged items without issue. I find their shipping handling to be quite slow though. When you order something on Monday, it might not ship until next Wednesday. They do carry a lot of things that other toy collectibles stores do not, but their prices are not always the best. The website navigation could be improved. It is a trusted store and I have confidence shopping there."

"This place has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. Higher than correct shipping fees and terrible packing skills on top of that. They have the mouthful of excuses that always seem to be an attempt to stick you with the item they sent you. You would figure the attempt to charge you nearly double the correct fee for shipping would help in returning their mistakes, sadly they make you pay for it and not refund you for the trouble they caused you. When buying anything used they seem to give it a high grade, but what you receive is nothing close to what they consider the condition of the item is in. I actually got sick of them before and had to contact the BBB on them. They resolved the issue somewhat, but sad to say they started up their nonsense about 2 months after the last issue. So in summary, too much for shipping with terrible packing skills leading to more damage to the item along with a bunch of sorry excuses from their worthless staff."
