"Very strange company. Their online prices are incredibly low. I filled out the order form and shipping was at least double that of any e-tailer I have dealt with. Also, no matter what I did, a $1 fan was automatically added to the shipment, and there was an extra $6 shipping charge just for the fan. I live in the NYC area so I called and asked if I could pick up the items. They said I could but when I got there the in-store prices were higher than the online ones by quite a bit. The salesman told me he couldn't sell things that cheaply in person because he would lose his "shipping profit." But he told me he wouldn't charge me tax so we would come out even and we'd all be happy. I was in a hurry to start building my new computer so I bought the items. The quality was fine and everything worked well so I didn't require any customer service or tech support."

"1. ordered a Ricoh 20x10x40x CD-RW OEM with Nero Software 2nd day shipping
2. got a e-mail from Americart with my order. My moms credit card number was on there too.
3. after 2 days, I did not receive the cd-rw so I wrote a e-mail asking the order status. The FedEx tracking number they gave me was WRONG.
4. after 2 more days, my mom called them but nobody was there.
5. the next day, I received the burner
6. the CD-RW works but the Software was a copied Easy Creator 4 which did not work with my Windows XP. It was the worst CD-R I've ever seen (finger print, scratcher, ...). East Creator is not a freeware and it is illegal to sell a copied version.
5. We wrote a e-mail and called them. Nobody was on phone and I never got a e-mail from PC-Beyond.
6. Send them few 100 fake-mail (mailbomb). Now they should see my e-mails.

Sorry for the english. I came from Germany and I'm not long here ;).

"These Chinese guys are scum. I bought a PC package from them and it froze on me all the time when I brought it back they said whoever built it connected the wires all wrong. What kind of computer company is this?

I bought a monitor from them along with the package and they had the audacity to give me an open box monitor with the styrofoam all crushed and said "it came like that and the box was just open to see if it was good". I didn't want it anymore and they refunded my money BUT with a restocking fee.

Then I buy a modem from them and when I get home I discover there are no drivers. It must've been used or something and I had to go back there and get a driver disk from him, which he seemed unwilling to give up.

If you ever buy anything from here, (which I don't recommend at all) you will find yourself making multiple calls/trips back to the store. These guys are truly jerkoffs and do nothing but rip people off.

"i ordered a Lian Li PC-65B on 5/22 and i received it on 5/23 in perfect condition and paid only $10 for shipping. I called Beyond Computers before i made the order to make sure that they had the case in stock. They weren't extremely friendly, but they weren't in any way rude. they answered my questions without much trouble and told me that they had 4 PC-65B in stock. so i made the order and i called back later that afternoon to ask for a tracking number. they gave me the tracking number without much trouble and i received the case the next day. reading this forum made it seem like ordering from this company was a nightmare, but i'm glad i went ahead and ordered my case from them, because i could not find this case for $169 shipped anywhere else. Good company, i would order from them again."

"From some of the comments, I was a little skeptical at first. But since they offered the Lian Li PC-65 case cheaper than anyone anywhere, and I read someone else had gotten a similar case from them with no problems, that perhaps non-electronic less-returned products may be their bag. The order initally went smoothly, until a couple days later when I was informed via email that the case was not in stock, as thier web site still said it was. I was also told that they were hunting down some cases and they should have one within 5 days, and if I wanted to cancel my order, I should do so immediately. Well I didn't want to wait, I have a machine to build!So I emailed my cancellation, only to find that my credit card had already been charged. Uh-boy, now I had to talk to customer support. The gentleman I spoke to quickly said they had *just* gotten my case and it would be shipped that night. I cautiosly agreed and recieved a tracking number later that night. The case came with no problems, other than it was a (just) slightly older model, different than the manufacturer's picture linked to from the description at Beyond Computer's site. Not a big deal."

"I know I dealt with Beyond Computer inc ALONG Time ago but I just discovered this forum, and I thought i'd share my experiences with them (I remember them vividly)

I Ordered an ASUS CUSLC-2 motherboard from them, and it turned out to be bad. Ok, no problem, I call them back and get an RMA..right? Wrong. The guy that does RMA's is out on jury duty. I call and call for a period of weeks, same story. I ask the other guys if they can help me, no they can't. Also, they are all very rude, and don't speak good english at all. When I finally get a hold of the RMA guy, he informs me that I cannot Return it since the 30 day period has past, so I have to contact ASUS directly. What a load of BS. He made it MY Problem that he was gone for all that time. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM Again! Deal with a place that does ONLINE RMA's!

"STAY AWAY!!!! While the prices are decent, the customer service is very bad. I ordered a motherboard that turned out to be bad, after returning it to them, they claimed it to be fine, and just sent the same one back. I know it is bad, and didn't not ask to a refund, just a new board. I guess now I have to send it back to the manufacturer directly. Stay away from this place!!! Nothing but problems!! "

"Except for a computer I purchased not working(partially from the combination of a particular video and mainboard(possibly), partly dirty power at my location) I have had nothing but good luck from them, except for a particularly slow refund on said computer.
