"Maximum appeal at a minimum cost! That's been my approach to renovating the house I'm flipping. I considered granite countertops for $3000. Even though I could laminate the countertop myself for a few hundred dollars, the raw square edges scream cheap!
I really thought the Bevel Edge website might have been a little ambitious in its claims to produce a beautiful finishing touch to countertops. "Yeah, will it look that great when I'm done."
Well, I thought I'd give it a try. It is gorgeous! Even my outside corners look professional. It looks like a granite countertop, and for $400 rather than $3000. I wish I could post my pictures! It's the highlight of my renovation!

One interesting thing though. I ordered a 12 foot piece of bevel edge. I received an 8 foot piece and a 4 foot piece. I orded this from another vendor previously and received a 12 foot piece. Luckily, it didn't matter for my application."

"After going to the Bevel Edge site, seeing the video and looking up everything I could find online I contacted Bevel Edge with a few question and concerns.
Ethan Feeney responded right away and not only answered my questions, but gave me advice in installing the Formica countertop as well. After corresponding back & forth several times, I placed my order for the Formica & ordered the Bevel Edge from him a few days later. I gave specific instructions on the size I wanted them to be cut to for my project. Ethan sent me a confirmation right after that and gave me the production & shipping date of the following day. Everything arrived in a timely manner and the packing was perfect. Not a nick or dent to the edges and was exactly what I had ordered including 2 tubes of the matching caulk.
The Best part was getting to the installation, I had a few concerns about my capability to have it come out right, but I was amazed at how well it came out. I have only done half of my counters so far because of a major change I am doing to the other side of my kitchen. It went on so easily, exactly like the instructions & video showed.
That night when my wife came home she almost cried at seeing the "finished" project (at least on half of the kitchen). She has been living with those "pink" counters for so long and it was now gone. A service person during a service call was doing some work and having been here many times before, notiched the counter and said "so you got granite counters, huh?". We couldn't be more pleased and not only does it look great, it's better than granite because we have the look of granite without the shortcomings our friends with granite have told us about.
Both the product and service exceeded our expectations. I am looking at other counters now that I hadn't even considered beforem it looks that good! The cost is actually insignificant compared to the value and look it has given our kitchen so far and I am looking forward to the completed project."
