"I found a reasonably good price for the DVD I wanted to buy. I bought it with my VISA debit card. It arrived in the mail about a week after I ordered it. No problems = a good experience to me."

"I got a great deal on an Xbox controller AND got free shipping. Item arrived in a timely manner and exceeded expectations. BestPrices sent me an email at every point during the transaction and I was at no time left wondering what was happening.

Those people complaining about shipping delays cannot complain about not being kept informed. BestPrices obviously make an effort with their customers and as such I find it difficult to sympathize with people totally intolerant of delays.

"placed an order of madden 2002 for the ps2, was worried about the price because the 2001 version was several dollars more than the one i purchased. All was cleared up with a phone call. I got the game at the price as advertised, without any trouble.

"1] Ordered a New PS2 Game ($50) on 3/9/2003. Game was not scheduled for release until end of Month and BestPrices.com promised shipment shortly thereafter.This was to be one of my Nephew's birthday gifts in late April, 2003.

2] Received Email confirming Shipment was on 3/29/2003.

3] Received 2nd Email confirming 3/28/2003 (not 3/29) Shipment and Credit Card charge on 3/31/2003.

4] Contacted the Company on 4/10/2003 via their Web Site Customer Service "Chat" link and requested an expected arrival date. Customer Service stated the item was shipped on 3/29/2003 and takes 7 to 10 Business days to arrive. Checked with USPS. They stated the item
should take between 5 and 7 Days, including Saturdays. I began to get suspicious.

5] Sent an Email to the Company's Customer Service on 4/14/2003 to Cancel the Order and refund the Charge because I believe the item was never shipped as advertised.

6] Received an apologetic reply from the
Company on 4/15/2003 stating they were sorry for the mixup and would issue a refund to my credit card which would be posted within 4 Business Days.

7] Received and Email on 4/15/2003 (later in the day) stating that the order was "Pending Shipment" on 4/15/2003.

8] Received an Email on 4/16/2003 stating that the order was "Backordered on 4/15/2003".

9] Received an Email on 4/21/2003 stating that the order was "Shipped on 4/21/2003".

10] On 4/24/2003, the Order showed up in my mail.
My credit card was never refunded and it would have been too much of a hassle to return the Game and reverse the Charge, so I kept it. Fortunately I was cautious enough to not go out and buy my nephew the same title from a local store as ordered from BestPrices.com.

Would you do business with Best Prices.com? Not me, a very experienced internet shopper - One (BIG) Strike and they are OUT!

"Ordered a video set from them in November. While individual videos from the set were out of stock, according to their web site, there were three on hand. Then I received a note stating they were backordered! About a month later, December 19th, they had indicated they would ship on that date. Still nothing, still on backorder and today is the 3rd of January. My experience with Best Prices is very disappointing. I will not use this web dealer again."

"Ordered an ereader for GBA on 12/9. On 12/12, received notification along with a tracking number that it shipped on the 11th. On the 17th, no tracking information was available; therefore, emailed company. Company responded back on the 19th with the standard – I will check with my supplier. Called late on the 19th. Response was that it was the “supplier” fault. Shipment was placed on the loading dock but was never picked up by USPS. Therefore, the supplier opened the wrapped package and placed the unit back into inventory (do I believe this?), but they did not forget to charge my credit card for an ITEM that was NEVER SHIPPED! Customer service was not cooperative at all. They refused to find a replacement unit (stated: unit is currently back-ordered until after the first of the year, we will be happy to send it then, weeks after Christmas).

I will not order from them again!
