"THis company is a rip off. They advertise the Olympus C-7000 digital camera package for $269 after $100 mfg rebate. I ( wisely) printed my order and receipt showing my credit card would be charged $$288.99. Then they called to say that it would really be charged the entire amount and my rebate would take off $100. The rebate form would be shipped with the camera. Of course it was not, and I spent much time on hold and being transferred to another person before being told to just download the rebate form off of the Olympus website. Well, it required a UPC from the Olympus box, but the camera had been sent in a "generic" box from Best Choice Digital. I emailed and requested a $100 credit to my card since I had not been provided the required UPC. I did not get a response and had to call again and endure the same run-around before speaking to Enzo Zegna. He said that I had not ordered correctly and that I only ordered a camera body. However, they sent an entire package of camera and software and accessories just as I thought I had ordered. He said that the package that they had sent was an upgrade and was not qualifying for a rebate. He said that if I wanted to send it back it would cost me over $59 in fees. He did fax me a form, and told me I must return the fax in the next 20 minutes before the company closed for the day. I will dispute the cahrge on my credit card, but DO NOT ORDER from BESTCHOICEDIGITAL.COM!"

"This place is dishonest in its advertising. They advertise the lowest prices and list product availablity. However, when you contact them to confirm order, they try to upsell. Once you let them know that it is only the camera that you want to by, they are somewhat rude, and tell you that you have to wait 2 months for delivery from Japan. I would warn people NOT TO BUY FROM THIS STORE."

"This a SCAM!!!! They are also tied in with 'Genius Cameras' and at least 5 more.
BEWARE. They give you same crap, IE:
*send you an email asking you to call & confirm order
*Then pressure you to buy overprices accessories
*Then, oh your are just buying the camera it doesn't come with a battery or just a 15 min. batter.
*Or this is the overseas model and will take 4 to 8 weeks to deliver
*BUT we happen to have the US version for a much higher price
*And, sorry we are out of stock and will cancel your order.
I have sent in a written complaint on the Attorney Generals web site. They change there address so you have to do both New York and New Jersey. All the info is on the web site. I also recorded the conversations. I have nothing but time and am calling both Att. Generals office at least twice a week until they do something. Here is the web sites for the Att. "You had to call to complete your order in which all they did was try to sell you more items. To get the item I saw on line would take 6 weeks. But they said if I bought an accessory package they would ship it them. I asked if could send the accessories back if I did not want them and they said no problem. But when I tried to return them. They said I had to return all of it and they where going to charge me 15%. Even if I purchased the item I originally wanted. They were misrepresented them selves on the phone to get a sale. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. And no invoice was provided."

"These people are nothing but theives,The person I spoke to first assured me that the camera I ordered will arrive in 5-10 days but the next day he called and wanted to "confirm my order" Then he tried to sell me batery, memory card and insurance because this camera is an "overseas version" and comes with no insurance and the batery last only 15 min. All that stuff was at very high prices so I refused to buy anything else,He then said that it will take 4-8 weaks. All the sudden he stopped talking to me and for the next 20 minute there was nothing but the background music he was licening to. During that time I looked up my account and he allready has canceled my order. Also I forget to say that he tried to sell me the US version at 2x the price. Don't even consider it....Run and don't look back."

"This place is a scam.

They list items for low prices. Don't process your order. Then, try to sell you more after you call to find out what is up. Furthermore, the items listed don't come with the accessories. For example, the camera I tried to order didn't come with any batteries or memory. Conveniently left off.

"THEY ATTRACT YOU WITH A VERY GOOD PRICE, THEN YOU PAY MORE THAN WITH MOST OTHER MERCHANT!!!!

I have recently ordered on bestchoicedigital website a canon S-60 digital camera at the “amazing” price of 289$.
But before being shipped, I have received a phone call, at 9 PM (I was asleep :-(), telling me that for that price I only get a short lasting battery (20'), a standard battery charger, no warranty at all, and a 16 Mo CF card. So they recommend me to take for extra 120$, a pack with a long lasting battery, a quick charger, an international warranty (I'm French), and a 32 Mo CF card. However I didn't not need the 32 MO CF (I already have a 1 GO one) I took the pack.
What I have received: a quick charger, the SAME battery as described on product details for the initial price (NB-2LH), a 32 MO CF, and a USA/CANADA warranty...By the way the CBC-NB2 Car Battery Charger Kit describe on product details on the web site was not present.
So what I need now is to buy an extra battery because the one delivered last too short, and expecting that when I will return in France I will not have to use the warranty.

END OF THE STORY : I have called them on the phone, they gave me another different story, telling me that the specifications written on their web pages weren’t the content of the package, that for 289$ there was no battery at all, etc …
Don’t hesitate also to have a look at http://www.ripoffreport.com you will see other reviews concerning the bad practices of that “merchant”.

"Possibly the world's worst customer service.
It isn't even worth attempting to deal with this company. Don't try. You will be sorry.
We are a business customer, D&B rated - trying to pay with a debit card.
They will change the order terms or try and upsell you to something else.
These are probably the same scammers that operate AMPHOTOWORLD.com / ExpressCameras.com and bwayphoto.com.


This company knows absolutely nothing about customer service.
STAY AWAY FROM all of them.

"bestchoicedigital.com doesn't exist. There are no products. If you order at the advertized price you will never recieve your order. If you pay them double for the "complete package" you have a 50% chance of getting half the package and by then you've defeated the purpose of dealing with them.

Their daily changing address is a run down, dilapidated shack in the New York slums. Don't put your personal information on file in that dump or the rats will steal it.

If you already ordered from this place, may God have mercy on your credit card.

"I purchased a Nikon 8800 at the unbelievable low price of $500. My mother always said, "if it looks too good to be true, it probably IS." Luckily, just an hour or two after ordering (on a Sunday night) I noticed that I didn't get an email and their website was very slow and kind of clunky. I accidentally typed their web address into the search engine instead of the address bar, and I came up with your site. I read bad things in the Yahoo! preview that comes up, so clicked on the link to your site and got pretty scared about my purchase. I had already purchased flashcards and an extra battery from buy.com and even though the camera was a few hundred more at buy.com, I decided to purchase it from them and cancel this order. I got a little nervous about it, but I called first thing Monday morning. Luckily, since I ordered on a Sunday night, the order had not been processed yet and there is actually a choice for "unprocessed orders." So I chose it and I got a very nice guy who only asked for my order number, no name or anything. I checked the website and it had been cancelled. Whew! I am almost happy to pay a bit more just not to be scammed or bothered. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!"

"I bought a Sony cybershot DSC-W1 for $229, which is a very good price, plus $20 shipping. The next day, I get a call from the site, and the guy tries very very hard to sell me accessories at a ridiculously high price. I declined all accessories, and the guy says my order is an 'international order' and will ship in 6-8 MONTHS....can you believe this... MONTHS....I say are u crazy... and the guy goes ahead and automatically CANCELLED my order.... I called customer service, and they say they don't carry the camera anymore... very rudely that is.... although its still available on their website......This is full time fraud....Stay away from this miserable site.... Stay away....."

"The morning after I placed an order I got an email saying "Thank you for your recent order with us, please contact our customer service department at 1-***-***-**** (ex. 221). I called. The sales person stated that there was no problem with my order and began to ask if I wanted to purchase accessories... at rather inflated prices. When I declined he stated that the camera, while new, came with absolutely no warranty and asked if I wanted to purchase one. When I questioned him as to why it came with no warranty, he stated that it was an overseas model and that delivery would take 6 to 8 weeks. Given that the camera was represented as "new" and "in stock" on the Web site, at that point I canceled my order... "

"I couldn't believe the $199 price for the Fuji E550. I called the store and asked what the gimmick was. They said none. Came with memory card, usb cable, cradle adapter, warranty, etc. Ordered online and received an e-mail saying I needed to call to confirm order. Called and salesperson tried to sell me additional accesories. After telling him I did not want any he told me that the camera did not come with anything other than the camera, that it was an import without a warranty and would take 4-6 weeks to arrive. I told him to cancel the order. If it sounds too good to be true, it is."
