Very disappointed

"I order car mats for my Honda Civic. When they arrived they were extremely bent​ from storage and shipping. They would not even lay flat on the floor of my car. There were also marks in the rubber that should not have been there. I returned the mats, and had to pay for return shipping. They would not pay for return shipping, they blamed it on Honda and said they were manufacturing defects and no fault for theirs. I emailed them back questioning this and got no reply. Also, when I got my refund they only refunded the amount for the product. They didn't even refund my original shipping costs. So I had to pay two shipping fees for a defective product that I had to return and buy from somewhere else. There are lots of car parts sellers out there, make sure you use one that actually cares about customer satisfaction and doesn't sell defective products."

Shipping scam artists!

"Took advantage of Bernardi's "Cyber Monday Free Shipping Special." My item (vehicle carpet) was apparently a larger item and I was charged $49.99 at the time of order. Not free, but still I was ok with paying. Well, 2 weeks later they emailed and asked for $185.00 more to cover oversized shipping rates. What??? I was offered a special shipping deal on Cyber Monday, and then would NOT honor! They cancelled the order and refunded my money when I refused to pay.

I've read similar complaints. They used to be an honest business, but now they've changed. I will never order from them again...bye, bye Bernardi!!!

shipping rip-off

"2 days after placing the order online I got an email saying the part was oversize and shipping went from $12.33 to $219.37. When I called to find out why it was blamed on Honda not updating the size in their catalog. Huh the part was the same part with a different part number the size did not change."

"2 stars only because the last order I placed a few years ago went OK, although slowly.

This company is PAINFULLY SLOW to order from. Their website presents like they have all of the items on hand. Not even close as far as I can tell. They're more than happy to charge your card right away for all of the parts they need to "special order", even though as far as you can tell from the website they were in stock and ready to ship. How's it a "special order" when almost EVERYTHING is a "special order" ?

- They will not break up shipments without (excessive, IMO) additional shipping charges.
- They will not notify you until up to 5 days have passed after delayed items have not shipped out, at their discretion.
- Poor site communication. "Order status" sits at "unpaid/unshipped" for days with no notification as to why. No real-time updating of order status at all that I can see.
- "Live chat" appears to be unmanned.
- Email inquiries monitored by an employee who "gets to it when she can". Her manager had no problem with this policy.
- Employees may try to bully you into going through with the delayed order, touting a 15% restocking fee on parts they never had in stock and never shipped out.

There's nothing wrong with special ordering parts. The combination of staff apathy, poor communication, and a misleading website make for a terrible buying experience. AVOID. (All the above IMHO as a repeat customer of this business).

"I ordered a nose mask for a 2009 Honda Odyssey but they sent me one from 2007 and earlier. Do they know how hard it was to install that thing? The mask itself fit but I didn't realize until the end that the vent holes are all wrong. Now, they're not even answering their phones. "

"Excellent store. Their prices are very good. I I ordered an all-weather floor mats. When I realized than one piece was missing, I emailed customer support. They provided friendly help and sent me missing piece promptly. Very good service and attitude. I will buy from them again."

"Genuine Honda parts. Fast email reply, fast shipping. Items were well packaged. Highly recommended.

Edit: I'm on my 4th purchase with these guys. Still very impressed with the speed and how well things are packaged.

"Bernadi Parts sells genuine Honda OEM parts and accessories at about the best prices/selection on the Web. I ordered splash guards (mud flaps) for my Accord. Communication was good and included a tracking number. The splash guards arrived quickly and were as described. No problems at all. Installation instructions are not included, but are easily accessible in PDF format on each product page. Recommended seller."
