REBATE ISSUE

"I bought a M9-22 in January 23. I applied for the $75.00 rebate. My check was supposedly sent to the wrong address 10 weeks later. After many calls to Beretta Customer Service and the rebate company it's now 9/8/23 and I don't have my rebate. The rebate company keeps losing my claim number and address. Beretta no longer answers my phone calls. This is very poor customer service.
I sent a letter to the COO of Beretta and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau this week. I hope this gets resolved.

Complete failure of customer service

"Bought a black OEM forend for my 1301 shotgun in 5/21. It broke on first outing. Sent it in for replacement per website directions. It was received. Heard nothing for a month. Called Beretta. They said on back order. Called back in 6/21 for update, still on back order. Called back in July told them to cancel the replacement forend as I would use my green OEM forend and to refund me my purchase price. They said they would send it to a "manager" who would contact me, no one did. Called back in 8/21explained the whole thing again and they said a lot of their people were out sick and working from home, but they would have "Sarah" in sales call me back in 10 min. No one called. Called back 4 days later and they said Sarah would call me back. No one called. I called back on 9/2 and spoke with "Robert" who said he was sending it through for a refund and confirmed the invoice # and part #. I asked for an email confirmation that they are refunding my money and he said they would send it. After 3 days, no email, no call, no nothing. I love my 1301 shotgun but Beretta USA customer service ****. "

Beretta Customer Service ****

"Beretta USA Customer Service is non existent!

The President od Beretta US should be fired. They don't respond to customer questions. You send an email and it goes into a black hole.

Why do ypu thing a Beretta APX sells for half the price of a Sig, Glock or Smith Wesson?

Beretta does not know how to market or service their customers.

Never again, will I spent money on a Beretta product.

I own a 92x full size. It shoots all over the target, locking block sticks when cleaning (which I believe contributes to the target accuracy), the sights are terrible.

Disappointed

"I am very disappointed in this place I have ordered a package over a month ago still have not received it. Just tried calling today I was told that they need to contact the distributor because my package has not been shipped I will give this one more week if it is not here by then I will cancel my order and buy my grips from somewhere else if there are any issues that come up with package you guys on your end need to make sure you contact the buyer so that we can solve any issues very unprofessional. "

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

"I thought Beretta was a premium international brand but it seems they are just living off their reputation. They represent Sako in the USA and I bought some Sako Optilock count mount bases for my Tikka rifle. The bases cost a whopping $75 dollars! It turned out that they were improperly manufactured so I contacted Beretta about getting a replacement. They told me to send them the bases which I did the following day and they received them 4 days later. Right from the first call the guy I dealt with seemed annoyed and short-tempered. He initially told me it would take 3 days to process but didn't give me an email address for correspondence of his extension (I had to get those from others colleagues of him). After more than 2 weeks and close to 30 calls, most of which never made it through or were put back on hold by someone I reached, the guy told me he was on vacation and he finally processed everything but that I couldn't get a refund. After waiting for so long I bought some mounts from Tally for a third of the price which are great and seem way more solid and stable. Now I will try to send the replacement back to the online shop where I initially ordered them from. It is unbelievable that in this day and age a company as well known as Beretta is incapable of answering emails and answering customer questions in a promptly fashion. I will never buy anything from them. In my opinion if you charge such a premium price for an item you have to back that up with premium customer support. This was hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had! Do not buy anything from Beretta!"

A400 issues

" I am having numerous issues with my Beretta A400 shotgun. The shotgun was purchased in November 2017, I received the shotgun in mid December 2017. I have hunted with this shotgun for two and a half waterfowl seasons and in my opinion it should not be having the issues it is having at this stage in it’s life.

1-The shotgun will not cycle the second shell from the magazine tube (third shell overall in the gun). The shell will hang up approximately a third of the way out of the magazine tube and lock the shotgun up. I have to insert my finger into the ejection port, push the shell completely back into the magazine tube and then the gun will cycle, I am sending a picture of how the shotgun malfunctions.

2-The recoil pad is falling apart. Again I have only hunted with this gun for two and a half seasons and I believe this is premature deterioration. The gun is kept in a case while it is transported, I don’t abuse my equipment and I have a few very old shotguns that still have intact recoil pads.

3-The **** stock fills with water. Even entering water for the slightest amount of time is long enough for the **** stock to fill with water. And then it feels like hunting with a bucket of water attached to my shotgun.

4-The finish is rubbing off of the shotgun in many places.

I would like to have these issues addressed.

I was very excited to have finally saved enough money to be able purchase the premier waterfowl shotgun. After having the shotgun for 26 months, I now feel like I bought a lemon and very unhappy with my purchase. In addition to the issues I have with the gun, there was a $150 rebate offered when I purchased the shotgun, and I have yet to receive that. I was going to use the rebate to buy Beretta promotional items and advertise for the brand. And finally an updated model was released two months after I purchased this shotgun. It would have been to get a heads up on that so I could have purchased the new model instead of the flunked I got.

Great quality, but a big fat zero on service

"I'm a big fan of Beretta, generally, and love their shotguns and the quality of the merchandise on the store. However, I'm officially giving up on them after my experience trying to return something that didn't fit, simply wanting one that did. I placed several orders before and after Christmas and spent a LOAD of money with them, but for the ONE item I returned for bad fit, it was a nightmare. All I wanted was a different size, right, so how hard could that have been to fulfill, right? Impossible, apparently, since the item was purchased on sale, all they would do was give me credit, and then I would be able to purchase the EXACT SAME ITEM at a higher price. For a place that is supposed to be a premium brand, their service quality and this policy specifically is strictly Walmart. No, wait a minute, Walmart actually allows this, so, I don't know, think of something worse that Walmart, service-wise, and that's where Beretta fits in."

"I ordered an item from Beretta USA on Cyber Monday at a very good price, with the promise of a $50 gift card for orders over $200. Beretta oversold the item and after two and a half weeks, Beretta unilaterally canceled the order without notice or explanation. Several days later the item was back in stock, but Beretta would not honor the price they quoted on Cyber Monday. Instead, their customer service representative offered the item at a higher price and without the $50 gift card. He then tried to persuade me that I was still getting a good deal and that I should be happy with Beretta's new offer. I declined and took my business elsewhere."

"WOW! I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the level of service from Beretta. I ordered a few items last week and was shocked when I got a shipping notification with tracking less than 3 hours later. Items showed up on time and in perfect condition. Loved them so much I placed another order yesterday and this time it only took an hour and a half for it to ship, amazing. I also made a phone call to Beretta to check a price before the last order and they were very friendly and helpful. Same day shipping is a huge plus when ordering online. They really do a great job!"

"Their customer service is one of the worst and most ignorant I've ever experienced in years of online shopping. First, they have no number for you to contact them with, only a support desk, which would be ok, if they didn't take their precious time in answering your questions.
As someone who works in a foreign organization, I'm exempt from paying sales taxes, so I told them about the problem. No response for days. I then made it clear that I was very upset at their slow response and I was in a hurry to purchase the items, since they were on sale (for now), and their reply was not only ignorant, but obnoxious.
They reminded me that I only waited 3 days, suggesting it wasn't that big of a deal. They then told me that everyone pays state sales tax (IGNORANCE), so there's nothing they can do. Lastly they threw in a number (FINALLY) that I could call. Seriously, if they weren't having their damn sale, I'd rather lose and arm and leg before I buy something from these jerks.

"This store is amazing for their incompetence.
I bought a knife from them online and at checkout a sales tax was added to my total. So far, nothing unusual.
When I get my order confirmation by e-mail, the total amount does not show the sales tax anymore.
So I check my debit card statement online and the total charge is different than the one that was showing at check-out with the tax (greater by a couple of dollars).
I try to get in touch by e-mail and it takes about a week to get a response asking me to call them.
I call their 800 number and a guy who has no access to online order information answers me and asks me to get in touch later.
When I call back, he says that the amount shown at check-out includes an "estimate" of the tax because their system does not "know" the tax for each state... Also, he says it is "normal" that the order confirmation e-mail does not include the tax and therefore does not match the CC charge.
I then receive the knife and it has a small defect. I send about 2 or 3 e-mails to their online customer service ( I read somewhere on their site that warranty issues for online orders have to be reported by e-mail). It has been more than a month now and I have given up. I'll disassemble the knife and try to fix the problem myself.
I'll never buy anything from those idiots again. It is a pity that such incompetent service tarnishes the reputation of a great brand like Beretta.

Important Update November 13th: Last week I received an e-mail from Beretta USA in response to my August e-mail. They asked me to return the knife for review, which I did.
They received the knife on the 9th of November and today, November 13th, I was surprised to find a brand new knife waiting for me when I came home.
So their communication skills are pretty lousy but they stand behind their products in the end and I have to say those Beretta Harsey folding knives are terrific.
