"I really do love shopping Bealls in our community, although, there is a continuous problem that as long as I've been shopping here has not changed, and that is that if you shop the store, be sure to have plenty of time to stand in line and wait quite a while for someone to check you out. It's been a problem for years at this Bealls and everyone I talk to say the same thing and it's discouraging people from shopping there. There is never any checkers. At lunch I love to shop, but I know I better just go look and possibly come back when I have more time. I never buy anything during my lunch hour, the check out is slow, I do notice registers in every department, but they NEVER have checkers. you always have to walk upfront where there is one, MAYBE two checkers at the front. Overall, too slow for most people who shop here."
"Experience was overall good. I had to track down sales girl in shoes 3 times & she was not helpful at all. The 2nd girl was very nice & even walked my things up to the front register because no other registerers were open. There was 1 EXTREMELY BAD girl. She ignored EVERYONE! Not helping out at all. Even when the reg I was at had 6 ppl waiting in line. The nice woman checking out even asked her to, which she ignored. The woman said she had already told management after people suggested that she should. I had never seen this girl before so she hasn’t worked there long & needs to not be there. 110% LAZY"

"The associates were friendly, but in the shoe department where I shopped today, there was no one there to ask questions. The ads were confusing; BOGO, Spot On Value, etc. I saw many people asking the sales clerk what the prices of items were. The store was busy, as this is a holiday weekend and there weren't enough registers open. It would help tremendously if the floor sales persons were recognizable as employees."

"I was insecure about finding proper attire for a job interview as I have rarely had occasion to dress up. I know nothing about fashion, and shopping has always made me feel uncomfortable. There were two associates there, Carole and Amanda, who were so sweet to me and extremely helpful! They happily spent so much extra time helping me pick out my outfit, even though I was being very difficult. They patiently navigated through my insecurity, making relevant suggestions and offering me their insight, time after time, as I tried on garment after garment. I left a pile like Christmas morning, of needles, hangars, and cardboard on the floor of the dressing room as I unraveled article after article from its meticulous state of display. I was very impressed by their customer service and would gladly return to this business based solely on their personal treatment of me. I work in management and customer service, so I can appreciate the work they do properly, and despite my particular fear of shopping for fancy clothes, and my state of panic in the face of an unexpected but much desired interview, I walked out of those doors feeling prepared, satisfied, and free from the anxiety that had gripped me when I entered."

"It was a lonley shopping experience in the clothing was a mess the store felt like it was on a desert island and I felt like the lady at the make-up counter was too busy to help me so I kinda had to force shop her to help me with samples of make-up I'll probably buy from another retailer"
