Bealls Bucks a Scam

"The policy on the Bealls Bucks is the craziest one I have ever encountered. I shopped Bealls often, but no more. I purchased over $300 in clothing for a trip, earning $60.00 in Bealls Bucks. I had to use these within a couple of days. I think they do that because they expect people NOT to return just 2 days later to shop again, but I did. I purchased 2 pairs of shoes for $90.00 and applied the $60.00 to this purchase.

The shoes hurt and I didn't like how they looked and went to return/or exchange them. I was not allowed to do either, they told me the return voids the Bealls Bucks. What the heck?? How on earth is this for real? I left the store losing $60.00 - Kohls will now be my go to store!

Shop on line somewhere else

"Everything I ordered was thrown in a box and one piece of tape. Came to me opened and broken. You can not return to the outlet the online shopping must go back to the department store. The return is located in back of store. A lot of handicap people shop on line. The inconvenience of returning anything they broke is ridicules. To many other companies want your money, do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. "

Security tag left ON

"I loved my product but they shipped it to me with the ink security tag still ON. Now I have the hassle of returning to a store to get it removed. Defeats the point of "online shopping". I would not recommend ordering online with Bealls Florida. Too many negative reviews + my hassle= no thank you!"

Terrible !!

"Ordered a turtle ornament for my grandson as a Christmas gift , one ornament !!! I am a Bealls customer and their service in the store is normally great. I spend a lot of money at Bealls. When I ordered it there was NO shortage of supply. Later in the day it said low inventory then that evening not available.. I kept watching my order and it said pending due to payment acceptance . Checked my credit card and they hadn't even attempted to charge it. So I called and was on hold for almost 30 minutes before speaking to someone . She said there were still twenty in stock and I may or may not get one. They send out everything from whatever stores happen to have the items. Not from a warehouse. So until some person in some store somewhere decided to pack up my turtle other people were buying it while my order was PENDING. But no worries, they will send an email if I am not getting it. She had an attitude so I asked for supervisor . She offered to do nothing . So what ended up being almost a 45 minute call was for nothing. The next day my order still said the same so Imdid an online chat. Totally useless. None of these three peop,e gave a hoot. So today I get the promised email that will make me feel much better, the one saying they are cancelling my order because the item is now not available ! Bealls needs to really think about their online business, it's a disaster. It I could have given a zero I would have. "

DO NOT SHOP ONLINE WITH BEALLS!!!!!

"ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!!! I ordered 3 shirts on bealls.com the only reason I was shopping online was because it was black Friday and I got the shirts for a good deal. When I received my order I only got 1 shirt in the correct color. When I called customer service the lady informed me that the website advertised a color they did not carry. I ordered a shirt that was suppose to be squash yellow in the Reel Legends Mens Snook Boat T-shirt and I received a orange shirt; which let me inform you is not the same color and looks nothing like the image I saw and ordered online. The customer service lady also informed me that I would not get refunded for that shirt or get the correct shirt sent to me because they actually don't carry it. The website for bealls has many errors in it and I am very disappointed in the service from bealls.com and the customer care representatives I spoke with. The other shirt that I ordered was suppose to be Celadon Green in the Reel Legends Okeechobee Bass T-shirt but the first time I received it was a orange color; but the paper said it was suppose to be coral. So not only did they send me the wrong color shirt, but they also put it was a completely different color on the paper I received with the shirt. When I called customer service they apologized and told me they would resend me it in the corrected color of Celadon Green; I was extremely happy that they were willing to do that and correct their error unlike they did with the other shirt I got in the the wrong color which is completely bealls.com fault, also on top of all of that the customer service lady informed me she needed my debt card information to refund me for the shirts but she ended up charging me for the shirt that was suppose to be the correction of the shirt I already paid for and that was in the wrong color. Not only did she lie to me to get more money, but she also charged me on top of what I already paid for the incorrect shirt. So today I received that reorder that the customer service representative did for me while I was on the phone with her for the Celadon Green in the Reel Legends Okeechobee Bass T-shirt. When I opened the package I did not receive the shirt in the correct Celadon Green color but I received it in that terrible orange color once again. I called customer service and the lady informed me that once again there is an error in the website and that I would not received the shirt in the color I wanted it in; which is extremely disappointing with Christmas coming up and with that t-shirt being a gift someone ask for specifically. The customer service lady also told me that bealls only carries the Reel Legends Okeechobee Bass T-shirt in the Celadon Green and a Navy Blue so I am confused on how I received the shirt twice in that terrible orange color. This experience was absolutely awful from the service at bealls.com and from the customer service employees not being able to do their job and to get me the shirt in the correct color. If I were a new customer or a new shopper to bealls.com I would NEVER ORDER ONLINE FROM BEALLS.COM If you want to get the correct item go into the store. If I had a store near me that's what I would have done from the beginning."

Not even close to what I ordered!!!

"I ordered 3 sets of 16pc dish sets priced at over $200, and i receive a pink women's crew shirt valued at $30. The shipping info in package even says 3 dish sets so how you send a shirt and no fish sets is beyond me! To top that off they say it'll take 10 days to see my money back on my card. Guarantee I don't see the money anytime soon if ever! Horrible company and I will never recommend to anyone or shop there again! I wish I didn't even have to give them 1 star."

The actual product looks nothing like the photo

"I ordered a beachscape in a jar with little lights. The "driftwood" was 4 round wooden dowels ?? The "coral" was little foam balls on a wire. The box had previously been returned by someone else as the battery was not attached to the top and was opened. I took pictures and sent the item back with a letter. I received the computer generated email that my card was refunded. That was my first item purchased from Bealls You would think customer service would have contacted me personally some how. I still haven't seen my review of the Beachcrest on their website. I will never order anything from them again. "

"I had a great experience until they refused to post my product review on their site. It was an extremely positive review saying that we loved the product, that the color was slightly off, but that we still would keep it and continue to buy with them. We did note that the surcharges for shipping the product were higher than industry standard especially considering the condition that the goods arrived in. However, we also stated that would not prevent us from buying there again. I checked and the review in no way conflicted with their "Review Guidelines." This unfortunately just appears to be one of those sites that censors reviews based upon positivity rather than "guidelines." Very unfortunate. "

"DO NOT order things online at Bealls! They have a terrible service! !st I made an order on black Friday week and they rejected my method of payment only after promotions were over! I needed to re-order the items, and than the payment was accepted but for a different price. Than they took forever to ship items, send me the wrong number, kept on saying I ordered that number although I had proof of purchase with the correct one! On top of this they REFUSED to replace the item! Their customer service is terrible! "

"Bealls Department Store should be fined by OSHA for safety compliance violations. My wife was recently injured and her cell phone damaged by falling merchandise while shopping in a Bealls Department Store. Management accused her of lying and told her there was no process in place for reporting such incidents. We visited the store several times and called their risk management department numerous times in an attempt to file a claim and have the phone replaced. After risk management procrastinated and stalled for 6 months regarding replacement of the phone, my wife was offered a fraction of what it is worth. This company lacks customer service, proper training of their employees, and integrity. We will never shop at Bealls Department Store again and will enthusiastically tell others not to shop there as well."

"Poor customer service!!! I ordered 3 items price show on the product page as $13.50 for one item I was charged $18.00. The total difference was $13.50 more than what I was listed on the product pages. I had screenshots and sent them to them and asked for a price adjustment and called. They wouldn't adjust the price and said the order had been processed and I couldn't cancel it. Mind you I placed the order at 1 am est and sent the screenshots about half hour later. I called first thing the next day and was told I was charged the correct price. Don't do business with them"

"Horrible experience - don't buy here.....
I purchased a watch on 12-14-2013 for a Christmas present. I received a confirmation of purchase email and notice that the item should arrive in 6 days, which would be just before Christmas. When it still had not arrived, I decided to call.... They then told me that my order was cancelled because they didn't have enough of them and that they sent me an email... I never received an email, I even checked my junkmail and spam folder and there was never an email sent to me. I had been checking the status of my order on their web-site also, and it still says it's in the system - it does not say cancelled. Now it's right before Christmas and I don't have the gift to give. Customer service as horrible and did not care whatsoever. They also said that a supervisor was on the other line when I asked to speak with one, and they said the supervisor would call me back.... that call never happened. This company is terrible and has gone down hill from what they used to be.... GO TO AMAZON and stop buying from the big box retail stores that can't deliver their promises. Unbelievable that I had to call to find out they decided not to ship my item. No email No phone Call no Watch. Sure they make it easy to buy something on line, but you don't get your item. Go somewhere else for sure, this company and website can not be trusted. Less

"bealls in riverview, fl is a horribly managed store. We have just returned our latest purchases of almost $300 because the cashier did not correctly ring up the purchases and the management could not locate the error. She rang up 5 items, we tried to buy 6 items and the discrepency was $9. We will never go back, they have lost what was a consistent customer who spent ~ $300/month at the store."
