"I was almost hesitant to order from these guys after seeing so many negative reviews. However, for my older MSI laptop, there aren't too many places selling the battery I need. It's worth noting: I didn't order the BattDepot generic battery, I opted for the Dr. Battery one they were selling which was more expensive, but still a terrific deal compared to other vendors I found. I live in Canada, sometimes ordering things online leads to terrible shipping times, but this thing came QUICK (2 business days with the cheapest shipping option, but they ship from the west coast and I love on the west coast). I verified that they sent the correct model, and the battery is now in my laptop working flawlessly. Order was processed and shipped quickly, emails kept me in the loop about the status of the shipment (they utilize the Canada Post shipment tracker plugin). What more could you ask for? I will round this out by saying that people complaining about bad batteries might have a valid point, however, I didn't buy one of the generic batteries so I cannot attest to that. This Dr. Battery battery looks legit."

"I purchased a laptop battery from these guys and it didn't work. I only got refunded for the battery and NOT THE SHIPPING. They then charged me AGAIN for return shipping. This happened TWICE - both batteries deffective and paid almost 100$ in shipping with STILL NO BATTERY.

Customer service promised me a shipping label for the return shipping and then they TURNED AROUND AND REFUSED THE SHIPPING LABEL.

"I ordered 3 replacement batteries for Dell 7440 laptop. The batteries I received weigh about 1 third as much as the original Dell batteries. You can feel that there are a few cells in 1 end of the plastic shell and the rest of it is empty. What a blatant ripoff. This battery had about 1 third of the run-time as a Dell battery. No big surprise. After using it for 6 weeks, 2 have died. I won't buy from Baddepot again. I've had good luck with ebay seller postation in the past. I buy about 10 batteries a month for the company I work at. But they didn't have the model I needed, hence my straying to the dark side. "

"Received a power cord for my notebook. It worked about 3 weeks then would not have a good connection with the notebook. Got an RMA number from them and had to pay for shipping it back. Before shipping I had to order another power cord from a different company so I could use my notebook. That power cord has no problems. BattDepot sent me an email letting me know there was no problem with the cord and asking me if I wanted it sent back. Its obvious that they don't care about customers. Order your products from a reputable company and stay away from BattDepot"

"Their battery had no charge, didn't charge, they gave me elaborate instructions that took up half of my day to try to make it work, and then when I get the RMA form I find out that I have to pay to ship their defective product back to them.

This was their "Advanced Pro" series with a 2-year warranty by the way. A load of good that did me.
