"Please be WARY of buying from battery edge.com!! Unfortunately, I am just reading all these negative reviews or I would have never bought from this company. Laptop battery died after one month of infrequent usage. Was going to send back today, but I guess I will be wasting my time."

"Stay away! Emailed to cancel order within 10 minutes of placement -- email ignored and then informed, after shipment, that it was "virtually impossible" for them to cancel orders. Emailed to request return authorization prior to delivery-- email ignored. Emailed to request return authorization after delivery -- email ignored and then agent recommended that I keep order as a "backup" (without providing an RMA). This place is a joke. Google checkout is also a joke for providing no recourse to customers. Buy at your own risk."

"BUYERS BEWARE- Ordered from this company and before I even received the product someone was using my credit card in China, the same place the product was shipped from. Called to discuss with company, ended up speaking to someone posing as the comptroller who essentially appeased the action by trying to convince me that it was not possible while over-talking while I attempted to explain. Very UNPROFESSIONAL staff, almost hard to comprehend. BTW, I still have not received the product and wished I had read these review prior to ordering. "

"CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! Wish we would have read the reviews before ordering. We ordered a new charger for a laptop. We were sent the wrong charger, and the company told us WE ordered the wrong one. When we called the company, the customer service rep. recommended a more expensive charger. We paid the difference AND paid for shipping to return the charger they sent us. The new charger that the company recommended did not fit the laptop either. Because the company obviously doesn't know what it is doing, we requested a refund. We were told the company would credit us upon receipt of the charger. We later received an email stating that they did not want the charger back, and that they would give us a refund of $12.99. I called customer service and spoke to a woman who presented herself as a "supervisor" who had the final say in customer service decisions. She was argumentative and belittling. We spent a total of $43.90. We are stuck with an adapter that doesn't fit our laptop and a refund of only $12.99. This company is a scam!"

"BatteryEdge.com Worst Customer Service and Damage Product Policy. I am Posting the Rep email that Customer takes the hit when a product comes in damage. You Guys decide.

Hi XXXXXX, It looks like when you initially spoke with Kim to start your claim, FedEx never did so. I had to reinitiate the claim today. You will not be receiving a return label due to the fact that because it was damaged, FedEx will be contacting you or coming to pick the package up for the claim investigation. It can take up 2-3 weeks for the claim to process. We cannot send out any product or issue any refund until that claim is processed. We have to follow not only our company policy but theirs as well. In the event that you cannot wait for the claim, you may reorder the product. If you have any questions please let me know or call in to our customer service to speak with a supervisor if need be. "Awful. Battery didn't work. They didn't want to help make it work. Offered a refund. I sent the battery back and they acknowledged receipt. After many lies saying that they will refund the money, they never did. Now I'm dealing with paypal trying to get my money back. Scam"

"I ordered a replacement battery for my Lenovo x301. The order process got off to a rocky start when the shpping price advertised before-order turned out to be different from the price at the point of ordering. Makes one angry. Using the Battery-edge battery in my laptop produces a slightly disconcerting message : "This battery is not a genuine Lenovo battery and may not meet Lenovo's safety and quality standards." The good part is that the battery was shipped promptly, arrived in good condition, and performs as well or better than a Lenovo replacement battery, at a substantially lower price. If this one does ok over time, I'll likely order another like it."

"I searched for an inexpensive, universal power supply, as I refuse to pay $80 to $130 foe an OEM supply. Although I hesitate to buy from unknown sources, Battery Edge had all of the right credentials on their site to gain my trust. I didn't make a wrong choice! I will return in I have further needs. "

"We placed an order with batteryedge for a laptop battery in August 2009. Within a few months the battery died. We contacted the company for a warranty replacement and were sent a replacement unit in May 2010. While rare, bad batteries happen and it was replaced.
Within five months the NEW battery died. We contacted batteryedge again indicating the SECOND battery failed within months. However this time customer service indicated the battery was out of warranty (1 year claimed on website) and they would not replace the unit.
Customer service indicates they have less than 2% failure rate with their batteries, but we have experienced 100% failure rate. I suspect they are selling used batteries and replacing returned defective units with more returned defective units.
I would not recommend batteryedge and will not do business with them again.

"DO NOT BUY THEIR JUNK! There battery fried my laptop and they refuse to take responsibility stating that they aren't responsible for consequential damages. THe technicians endeavoring to save my very important data uniformly agreed that this is a fly by night enterprise with "pieces of crap" that "obviously aren't legitimate replacement bateries". Two black plastic pieces fell off the teeth in the connection when the technician removed the battery. It was unbelievable."

"DO NOT buy anything from this site. I bought a dell replacement battery pack from here and the battery had the look of a cheaply made knockoff. I charged the battery for 12 full hours like the directions told me to. The battery fully charged only lasted about 30 minutes. I returned the battery by receiving an RMA # from them first and I had to pay for the shipping as well to return a complete piece of junk. Any other online site will pay for the shipping if you return the item. It has been 3 weeks since I returned the battery but batteryedge.com still has not returned my money into my account. I called their accounting department 5 times and they returned my call 1 time telling me they will return my money. But it has been a week and a half since I spoke to one of their accountants and I have still not received my money back. I called them today and of course it went straight to the answering machine when I asked for accounting. Like I said DO NOT give this site your business unless you want to buy junk along with horrible customer service. I see these other reviews under mine and I am guessing it is one of their employees writing their reviews because their experiences were completely the opposite of mine."

"I am traveling around the country, driving my car, and my laptop is very very important to me. When my charger blew up and I found myself in need of a replacement, I used the last few minutes of life on my computer to almost randomly put my fate in the hands of BatteryEdge.com.

Boy did I luck out. Not only did they ship same day, but customer service was available and extremely helpful (they called me back when my phone couldn't hold a connection) in figuring out my semi-complex shipping situation. 3 days later, my new charger was in hand and it's perfect.

Normally, I don't take the time to write these reviews, but I can't say enough good about these people. So so so appreciated.
