Support your local independent stores who appreciate your patronage not these A wipes !!!

"Won't waste my time going in the place again, I keep swearing I'm thru with this place but I always gotta try one more time and they always leave me speechless. Notorious for lost leader items on sale they don't have, haven't had and have no plans on having. They've ran RCT warriors on sale for years and never have them in the stores, and don't have them available to ship. The associates in the stores are arrogant ****. Not that its ok or acceptable to treat any customer this way but most gun stores don't snob you when your wanting to look at a $2600 benelli. But this bunch will, and have. I just went in to get a box of .45 defense loads for a new carry gun. While I was there I wanted to look at some scopes for my new Barrett M107a1. It was 8:30 and they'd pulled all the guns from behind the counter and everything was locked away and secure, but I guess they have some new policy where you can't look at a $2200 NXS or $3 ATACR nightforce scope in the last hour the stores open, because I got told to get my **** away from the case and couldn't be in the area because they'd put the guns away. Well F bass pro shop !! Left the $50 box of .45 ammo on a end cap as I was leaving and my **** damn sure won't be buying a Nightforce scope there or a 50 licorice stick. I'm done with lost leader sales adds they never have, rude **** sales associates and managers that refuse to issue rain checks, and rude **** associates in general. I'll support my local small independent gun shops that appreciate a $2600 shotgun sale or $3000 optic sale. Never again will I set foot in this place !!!"

Don't expect your boots anytime soon!

"I ordered boots on 11/11/21 that I wanted to have before departing on a trip 11/25. As of 11/19/21 they haven't even shipped yet even though the charge hit my credit card the same day I ordered. I called customer service and was told that it takes 10-15 days for the manufacturer to ship the boots I'll be lucky if I see them a day or two after I leave for my trip. I explained that I needed them before the 25th and the rep didn't offer any solution. By today's standards, making a customer wait 15 days for a $177 order is beyond unacceptable."

DISGRACEFUL

"So I had about 200 Pluss dollars worth of gift cards from Christmas right so I order $102.45 worth of stuff last week with express delivery where the invoice said Delivery date 6/11/21 and that came and went Not a single email or message of any kind from them saying delayed. Not even a phone call so I had to track them down via Twitter before any rep responded which only came after live chat telling them how **** a company they are and that I tweeted as much so that rep refunds 10 dollars. Tuesday I get two text the latest saying Delivery for Today 6/16/21 Yet it's 7 :30 PM and not a single package or any texts, email updates again despite signing up for both . Now if the first text from yesterday said arrived in HAGERSTOWN, MD yesterday at 7am right and I am in Philadelphia How in the hell is it delivered by end of today with no update on it ever leaving MD This company **** and has failed twice now in 5 days of itself to deliver on time"

Shopping in-store is fine but avoid online purchases

"I have been a customer of Bass Pro Shops for more than 30 years and always looked forward to getting their catalogs when I was younger. Their prices are usually on the high side but the selection made up for that. I have recently made purchases online and after each time I said I would never do it again....but this time I mean it! This company is so behind the times for an online business. The website is fine and the ordering experience is easy enough but after the order, you are on your own. I made a purchase early on a Friday that promised "Free Express Delivery" by the following Tuesday. On Tuesday I called to ask about my order and found out it had not been shipped and they did not have an estimated shipping date. I then told them to cancel the order and they told me they could not. They could only cancel an order within about 15 minutes after it was placed because after that it was already being processed (whatever that means). It is now Friday, a full week after I placed my order and I still do not have a shipping confirmation and I still cannot cancel the order to buy locally. This was an order that was to be a gift for a houseguest this weekend. With all the options now available for online fishing gear, you would be best served to completely avoid Bass Pro."

Horrible Customer Service.

"I live literally 1 block from the Springfield Store and have done a lot of business there in the past few years. I was out riding my bike just goofing off and decided to stop in and get my $190.00 benchmade pocket knife purchased there a while ago sharpened. While i was waiting i saw a $50 knife sharpener that was different than the other three i already had so I bought it. They put it in a bag that is just barely big enough for it so I cant even use the handles on the bag so on the way out the door I ask for a larger bag because I am on a bike and need to use the handles on the bag to hang it off of the handlebar. They will not give me a bigger bag and they dont care that the one they gave me is too small for the item I just bought from them and its not their problem how i get it home. When i ask why they said because it is policy because thief's are filling the bags up with merchandise. Perhaps they should stop checking people out all over the place and utilize the many empty checkout isles at the exits. I am at the main exit, with a receipt for everything I have and they refuse to give me a bigger bag when there is no way i could possibly steal anything once I walk out the door 10 feet away. I get that they have a lot of theft and I understand they are trying to reduce that but for every rule there is an exception to that rule but they would rather loose my business for good when I am a regular customer and have taken my family through Wonders of Wildlife several times. This is the second incident with them in the past year and will be the last. I will order anything I need from there online and I will save money doing so."

Website allows you to put an item in your shopping cart when it is out of stock.

"I searched for a pistol online, and the website said the pistol was in stock. The website allowed me to put the item in my shopping cart. When I went to check-out, after entering my credit card information, the site said there was "insufficient stock" of the item. Why would their website allow me to put a product in the shopping cart if it was out of stock? Terrible."

THEY SUPPORT FRAUDS AND WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE

"I wish that I never would have walked into a Bass Pro Shop. I went to Bass Pro Shops one day last year where there was a kiosk for Bluegreen Vacations that was advertising that you could "win" a "free" vacation if you signed up, I put my card in and received a phone call a few weeks later from a representative at Bluegreen. First of all the vacation they were offering wasn't even free but just a discounted price. The catch of the vacation was that you had to show up to a 2 hour "presentation" they called it. This presentation was actually a sales pitch that we were lured to that went much longer than 2 hours. Bluegreen's sales people used high pressure and fraudulent sales tactics (pretty much everything about their product that they told us was a lie) to sell us a time share in their company. After finding out that we were scammed by Bluegreen we knew we needed to get out of our contract with them ASAP. Mind you, Bass Pro Shops had just SUED Bluegreen for over 40 MILLION DOLLARS for this exact reason (but for some reason to this day still partners with them)! You would think that they would use some of those millions to help their customers who were the most negatively affected by their endorsement of this fraudulent company but apparently not. I contacted Bass Pro Shops by email to express my concerns and see if they had any program put in place to help alleviate some of their customer's attorney fees to get out of their contract with Bluegreen. I got no response back. I then called Bass Pro's corporate office to inquire about this and was met with the most rude woman I have ever encountered, she basically told me to go screw myself and that Bass Pro would in no way help me get out of my contract with the FRAUDULENT company that they sent me to. This makes Bass Pro shops just as bad if not worse than Bluegreen and I now plan to sue Bass Pro Shops for MUUUCH MORE than it would have been for them to just offer some minimal assistance with my legal fees for the nightmare known as Bluegreen that they brought into my life!"

"This company is a highway robbery, order a 30 dollars plus tax from their Tsawwassen location with free shipping and they charge me 51 dollars! Who does that? Msg them 3 times and they never get back to me, NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE, WORST THAN THIEF!"

didnt recieved my order

"oredered month ago , still didnt get it, tried to call customer services , they couldnt find it, went on website to track my order status
find out it was cancelled week after i odered, no email, nothing, had to call and get my payment back , what a company , dont by anything, they have fake reviews page with 4 stars , but the pay online companies to manage fake reviews , if you go on real customers review page you will see their real face .

Worst experience ever

"I bought a boat online and after 2 months I still have not received paperwork to register and use my boat. Told 7-10 days shipping - it took closer to 45, so much for my wife's birthday present. I asked about a Manufacturers Statement of Origin and was told to contact the manufacturer's web site by customer service. The AZ Bill of Sale had to be signed by Bass Pro Shops but they were a 7 hour drive to get that done. Then they forgot to collect sales tax on the purchase that now I am trying to reach AZ Dept of Revenue to pay my tax to finish registering the boat.They were pretty helpful until the end then dropped me like a hot potato. Really stay away"

Bass Pro Shops Eclipse tent was shoddy

"I purchased their Eclipse tent two years ago but only used it recently. The second time I set it up to dry one of the poles snapped because the tension is too great for the material. I contacted customer service and of course they won't make good on their shoddy product. I have had other tents from other companies for many years, one for over 40, so I did not expect this one to be so poor. I will never buy Bass Pro branded camping products again."

"I returned painful Danner hunting boots to Bass Pro. They have changed the return policy so I had to pay return shipping. Bass Pro received them 17 days ago but still haven't issued credit to my account.

After not receiving part of an order and being charged I reached out for answers only to receive NO answers. Customer service was no help and I was given a run around! Decided to count it as a loss because it was obvious I was wasting my time! If you choose to shop do it in store so that you actually receive what you pay for!
