My only gripe is the long delivery time, but that is understandable as it has to come from China to South Africa. I have also used their customer support to redirect a package and they were helpful and courteous. "
"Order in "preparation" for over 2 weeks.
5 promises of getting feedback by email from the "concerned team", but not even one of those emails was actually received.
The bot-like humans in the "live chat" keep on sending you standard replies and urge you to wait 24-48h, which seems to reset an internal counter each time you contact them.
I asked to cancel the order so that I could buy the item from a polish site instead, which they acknowledged by a "don't worry, you will get reimbursed", but 4 days later instead of canceling the order they finally ship it anyway.
No luck for them: in the meantime I have laid a claim at Worldline (Mastercard) explaining that Banggood does not cancel the order as requested, including an order status printscreen and the full chat history.
Now waiting to see how this will get solved.
One thing is certain: I won't ship it back at my own expenses.
Just hoping to get my money back, and until now I have faith in Mastercard/Worldline.
Hint: on Banggood you can download the full Helpdesk chat history while you are in a chat (you need to start a chat with a human for this -- good luck).

"Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars with Banggood.
I tried several times to communicate with Banggood but it appeared that they were not listening.
1 item that I received was DOA. Other times their front end Sales software failed as it would not process payment. I tried to co communicate with Banggood again but to no avail. I was unable to purchase the items which I had selected for the price which was offered. Banggood then wanted me to proceed with the purchase at a far higher price.
I believe that I should have been sold the items for there originally advertised price.
Banggood don’t listen! When there is a problem with Stock Banggood have reached out & asked whether or not I still wanted the item or if I’d prefer a refund. Despite placing in writing that I’d wait until stock had been replenished, numerous times Banggood unilaterally cancelled my orders.
I find these actions totally unacceptable therefore I now find Banggood is my place of last resort when I make an online purchase."
