Mailed me wrong item, didn’t refund shipping

"I ordered 3 chainsaw chains, they messed up and sent me the wrong chains. They did take them back, but only refunded me my chain cost, not the $10 in shipping"

"I purchased a SILKY pole pruner for about $300 and it fell apart because of poor workmanship. Rather than send me the end cap that should have been permanantly installed - Bailey's wanted $10 plus shipping for it. This is supposed to be a commercial pruner - I am a homeowner who used the tool a dozen times. I think that Silky and Baileys should stand behind their products. It's NOT the $10 but the point! No Customer satisfaction here. Would I purchase from them again? NOPE - and they lost a customer with a BIG MOUTH and it will cost them a lot more than $10.00. They should be ashamed of themselves! Consumers UNITE!"

"I placed an order for a sprocket clutch tool for an Echo CS-4400 saw. After receiving the order, I noticed that the pins on the tool were slightly too narrow, and it wouldn't fit the saw. So, I called Bailey's back (twice, actually...was disconnected in the middle of the call with the first agent) and asked for an exchange. I was informed that they do not sell a sprocket clutch tool for the CS-4400, and that I should grind down the pins on the tool (for which I paid $13.99 + $7.95 shipping.

The only problem is that if I grind down the pins, there won't be enough metal left on the pins to turn the clutch.

The other suggestion was for me to use a brass or aluminum punch and a hammer to try and loosen the clutch, but this could damage the clutch, putting me into an even bigger bind than I am now.

I do not know why they are advertising a clutch for a CS-4400 and substituting a replacement that does not fit. At no time was I offered to return the item.

Live and learn, I guess. This is the last time I do any business with Bailey's Online.

"Misleading advertising on free shipping. Sales rep tells you that there will be free shipping when you order, and you get the product and get billed for shipping anyway. Called Customer service, courteous people but are not able to give me the credit. They are willing to loose a customer over $13.39 in shipping charges. At the same time of the promotion, they were offering "free shipping" on chainsaws and heavier items but won't give me it on 3 small chainsaw loops. Won't do buisness with them again. "
