"They have VERY poor shipping services. I ordered a video card from there on July 27th 2004 and after 10 days of no video card I contacted them and they were just processing the order saying I should expect it the following Tuesday. Thats 2 weeks!"

"I ordered two Athlon XP 1800+ processors w/ HSF from them yesterday. I got a call from some indian guy on my cell @ work about how the old version was out of stock, the newer one was 9 bucks more each, but had more cache...I couldnt hear the numbers, I THINK he said the old one had 256..and the new one had 8xx, but he could have said 384..but I ended up saying yes because I couldnt get involved while at work (should have given them my home phone #). Will update when (if) i receive the shipment...should have checked here first, but I assumed pricewatch did some research.


update: I cancelled my order, about 2-3 hours later I received a confirmation that it was cancelled.

"Horrible. After ordering my mobo + proccessor combo they tried to do the same thing they did to everyone else i've seen review these guys. Called me up and said that they don't have anymore OEM procs and i need to upgrade to a retail one, pfft i guess. Not only do they bait and switch they take forever to ship your stuff to you. Stay away."

"Do not buy from this false advertising company.
With all the long distance calls to customer service I had to cancel my mobo/cpu order, after wasting 2 weeks. It was hard to understand their India accented out-sourced customer service reps. They wanted $20 more for the Retail version, saying I ordered "OEM" when it clearly stated "Retail box" (see below). bzboys said they sent me 2 emails on the status of my order and to reply with a fax waiver. What waiver, what email.. are they nuts. I not giving them permission to send me bad goods or no RMA recourse. I kept asking for them to email it to me, I wanted to see this document, it never arrived. But when I agreed to pay $20 for the so called "Retail box" version I got an email with in the hour. Wow so their email servers do work. After 2 weeks of waiting and calling I gladly ordered from another company for more money. I reported my experience to the BBB. They need to be shut-down by the BBB to put a stop to this fraudlent company.

The order confirmation from bzboys shows I ordered "Retail" and not "oem" as they claim.

"Not cool at all, I got an email saying that they have tried to contact me over the phone several times but have not gotten thourtgh, so I'm thinking why are they trying to call me, so i called them on their non toll free number, and it was too tell me that I needed to pay more for the product I was supposed to be getting otherwise they'd give me a lower version of the processor, and insisted that I must do that, if this still get's charged to me evemn though I told those dumb people to cancel it i will be really mad.."

"This company is the biggest group of charlatans that I have come across yet! I got hooked up with them from pricewatch.com. (I wish pricewatch would do a better job at being a sellerwatch.) I ordered an AMD mobo-combo. I get this message on my phone and email that I should call them back. The email said something about since I was a new customer they were trying to contact me to finalize my order and develop a better relation with me so I would be a repeat buyer. I thought this is strange; I don’t get calls from New Egg or Tigerdirect, nor do I want calls from anyone!! A Company’s actions should speak for themselves. I give them a call back. The phone number rings for a bit and then pauses and starts ringing again as if it is being redirected somewhere else. I get an answer from someone who is obviously Indian and has a poor grasp of my native tongue. I can hear a bunch of other people in the background. So, now I am getting worried. It appears that I have found myself at the doorstep of some Indian customer support sweetshop. The guy gives me some highly suspect story about their buyer informing him that they are having trouble getting what I ordered, and if I would like to order a similar product. I started to get mad. The guy then says he will get his manager. I hear some very heated foreign words from my sales guy to someone. Then I get the manager who happens to at least speak some understandable English. One should defiantly smell a rat at this point… So, I angrily and firmly demanded that they cancel my order. He finally agreed. The think I am worried about is that they have my credit card number. This company seems like the kind of company that would try to pull some kind of credit card fraud. I have been watching my credit card bill closely ever since.
This company should be ashamed of themselves! I feel sorry for the Indian people that probably have to work for them because they can’t find anything else. I hope they all can get real jobs someday; and this goes for the losers who run the company as well!

"I ordered a motherboard combo with memory from them. I had been referred to the through Pricewatch. After placing my order, i got a call the next day. The man told me that the processor was out of stock and wouldnt be compatible with the motherboard i choose. The only thing is, i bought them as a combo. I didnt choose the motherboard. Anyway, he said that he could upgrade me to the next level of processor for about 15 dollars. I said ok, but that he would have to call me back later that day, because i didnt know if i had the money in the bank. Well he never called and both of their numbers listed on their website dont exist. I really formed an opinion about them yet. And if i can get into contact with them SOON and things turn out ok, i will tell my friends about them. But at the way things are going, i cant stand being out of contact with someone who has 150 dollars of my money.


Update:
After calling them about 10 times, they finally called me back. They informed me that the order that I placed was a typo, and that it was actually 50 dollars more. I told them to cancel my order, and they acted like I hadnt said anything at all. He just kept offering a retail box, or an extra fan, etc... After i almost had to yell at him to cancel my order, he finally did. STAY AWAY FROM BZBOYZ.COM. They are frauds.

"This company is terrible. Do yourselves a favor and order from somewhere else. It took me 20 minutes and 3 people for me to cancel my order after they tried to tell me that the Mobo I ordered was OEM. Nowhere in the description does it say anything about OEM. The processor is clearly marked OEM, so there is no mistake there. The ad also stated one year warranty, and they told me on the phone it was only 15 days, and I should upgrade the warrany. During this conversation, after I asked them to cancel, they almost ignored it and said it would be shipping today, "very soon" I asked them again to cancel, and they told me it had already gone to the shipping dept, and could not be canceled. After I asked them if there were stupid enough to waste the time to have the order picked and prepped for shipping and then contact me via email to see if they could bait/switch me, did they agree to cancel the order. The following is the email that they sent me. It came from ****@****, BTW

"hank you very much for giving us the chance to do business with us. I am Nishi, the one who is taking care of your order and I notice that there is some matter on which I have to talk to you, so can you please call me back on my personal # ***-***-****,5652520630 so that you can reach me directly or you can call on company's toll free# ***-***-**** and ask for me. I am here to help you always regarding this order. Please call me back."


Now, does that look like a toll free number to you? This is just an example of what kind of idiots you will be dealing with if you order from them. They tried 3 different people on me to get me to upgrade too. UUGGGGGHH!!! Sorry If this was all over the place, it is difficult to form a complete thought after dealing with idiots. I think it rubbed off a bit.

"these guys are something else. ordered a motherboard combo oem. recieved a call 2 days later telling me they dont have any instock (bait and switch) but they have retail version for an extra $25. like an idiot i agreed. they didnt bother to ship it until 4 days later when i called. recieved the board another 3 days later and low and behold its inoperable.....go figure. now they want me to pay for shipping back and wait on a 21 day turn around for thier techs to test the board to determine if its defective or damaged. i called them today to ask about some of these issues and was hung up on. never again will i order from these guys, they should be shut down....."

"Should be bait-and-switch-boyz.com. Classic example of it. I ordered a Thermaltake heatsink and fan on Monday, received an invoice right after telling me it was successfully charged. By Wednesday night, still no shipping confirmation, go to the website to cancel my order. Thursday morning (just now) a representative calls me telling me that "They are out of stock." It was then I interrupted him, telling that no, I already canceled my order. He pauses for a second and asks if I want to switch to a lower cost heatsink fan... VERY SHADY PEOPLE! Avoid them at all costs!"

"*update* 6-22-04 After repeated emails with Bzboyz totally ignoring what I wanted to get done. Which was a full refund. They made me send the parts back with a credit of 130$ out of 200$ billed to me. They keep 70$? For what? Shipping? It cost me 10$ fedex with insurance to send the parts back to them. They want to charge me 35$ to test the parts that on the invoice said were already tested “which weren’t” and bill me for shipping again? So were looking at 50$ or more to send the parts back to me? I don’t think so. I contacted My CC company. Had stop payment due to internet fraud.
I gave them the tracking number so when Bzboyz gets the parts they cant try to rescam me again. They will try to bill the CC and wont be able to anymore. Sorry to all you MasterCard holders that want to buy from these crackers. I think MasterCard is putting a hold on BzBoys from ever letting them bill MC. *UP YOURS BZBOYZ* I pray you get shut down before anyone can get ripped off again. I beg of all you out there. Do not order from these guys. You may save 50$ on the initial price. But in the long run it will cost you much much more. You’re time. You’re gas, you’re long distance phone bill. And most of all the headaches. I have 2 ticked off customers that want a computer. I can now order from newegg like I should have done to begin with. TAKE HEED!.


DO NOT BUY FROM THESE MO-RONS. Ie “Scam Artists”
Order placed June 1 2004, June 4th I receive a phone call. They wanted to upgrade my CPU because the one i ordered was no longer available. amdxp2400+ They tried saying the new one was 30$ more each and had 640mb of cache. Anyone who has built machine for a few years knows better. I call them on it and after a lot of noise and fuss from the gibberish speaking dolt on the other end they assure me they will call me back in 5 minutes to confirm the 640mb of cache. Half hour later I call then back and tell them what I ordered. What my invoice said and that is that.
A lot more noise and 45 minutes later and being put on hold 7 times. they finally get me into adding 16$ more to my order for a special heat sink and fan. May I add that the h/s&fan were supposed to come "with" the order already? So they sell me the 6$ h/s&fan for 8$ X2. I was ordering 2 of each MB/CPU combo. But I also told them I did not want 2 fans but they sell them to me anyway.
They then send me 4 invoices 2 of which were wrong. 6-11-2004. 11 days after I place my order my parts arrive.
This is where the fun begins. Bent CPU Pins. Chipped CPU cores on both CPU's. I finagle the pins a little and finally get them to fit in the socket on the MB.
Power one up. The Chipset fan on the MB does not spin. I give a little push it spun very slowly for 10 seconds and comes to a stop. No Post beep. = DOA Other MB the chipset fan worked but one of the big caps was bent and very lose. = DOA. I have built systems for 7 years. Ordered parts from BzBoyz 2 years ago with no problems. Seems within the last 6 months they have really lost it. This is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. I sent off an email at 1:00pm their time expressing my concerns and what they plan on doing about this. At this point I do not want their parts nor a return. I want a refund without the 15% restocking fee. That’s 30$ and the cost to ship the parts back is going to be around 15$ so that’s 45$ out of my pocket. I have yet to hear back from them.
There may be a lawsuit pending on this transaction. We shall see. I have a feeling they sell you parts other people returned. btw there were mixed matched cables no ata66 or 100 ide's just the low end 33's, No Manual, No driver cdrom. And the bag the motherboards came in were all crinkled and opened looked like they had been stuffed in some corner on the floor and trampled on. Save yourself a lot of grief, Pay the extra 50$ and buy from a reputable company.

"They are a classic bait-and-switch operation. I ordered a K7S5A motherboard from them at the really cheap Pricewatch price. After two days they send you an email cancelling your order because they "couldn't contact you" despite the fact that there is nothing to contact me about. I also have caller ID so I KNOW they never tried to call. Based on what else I've read here maybe they did me a favor---they would've probably RIPPED ME OFF otherwise...."

"My worst ever online experience. Stay away or you will be conned out of your money. Clasic bait and switch. It seems if you want to purchase something from this company you need to buy all the extras, if not they will cancel the order without notice. "Dont buy from them.

These guys are totall scammers. Tried to get a motherboard (epox 8rda3+). They called me back to tell me that what I ordered was an oem which it did not state on their site. They tried to weasel me out of 25 dollars more just to get the retail box. I found that new egg sells this motherboard with the retail box for a dollar more.

Don't buy from them ever!!! New egg will probably have it with no hassles or sleaziness.
