"I ordered a msi motherboard through newegg from BTE and as the title says I received a used and damaged product sold as new at full price. BTE will tell you that if they receive it before they complete a courier investigation but this is a scam to postpone the return long enough for it to no longer be eligible for refund. Under no circumstances should you buy anything from them. I only wish I looked them up before blindly trusting newegg."

"My $316 gripe is with Newegg and BTE Outlet in Canada.

I called Newegg six times between 1/4/21-1/26/21. Each time I called I was given conflicting information on my wanting to return this watch. Each of these six phone calls I explained in detail why I was NOT satisfied with this watch. Each Newegg representative gave me different information.

BTE Outlet unbeknownst to me since this watch was a Christmas present for me has a extremely crappy return policy. Most all return policies give you a 30 day return window. The 30 day window starts on the date of receipt from the shipper. Well today Newegg told me for the first time that my 30 return window starts on the date that the seller initiates a shipping label on their end. In my case, I was told today that the seller initiated a shipping label on 12/3/20. My son received the watch from the shipper nearly two weeks later on 12/15/20. I received the watch as a Christmas present on 12/25/20.

I DO NOT recommend Newegg for any purchases since six different Newegg representatives gave me incorrect return information.

I DO NOT recommend BTE Outlet since their return policy states your return window starts the date they process your purchase, NOT the day you receive their product.
My 30 return window expired on 1/3/21."

"Terrible time dealing with BTE computers. They have an antiquated shipping policy. Shipped a defective product and would not cover the cost of return shipping to get a replacement product delivered. Shipping costed more than product! Internet retaliers know that to compete in today's market you must replace defective product and sell only high quality product as a result or you will have tons of customer service problems. And if customer service are unwilling to work with you that is a very bad sign. I would advise potential customers to look elsewhere."

"I ordered a Logitech keyboard from these guys. I received the keyboard a week later than what they had told me. The keyboard box was damaged, the tape holding the box closed was ripped, the keyboard inside the box was not wrapped in anyway as a new keyboard, the USB cord was poorly wrapped together, there was no CD or documentation and the keyboard itself had wiping marks all over it. And, drum roll please, the serial number has been scratched with a black marker.

I've tried to resolve this matter with them but they will not acknowledge or respond to any of my communications.

"I ordered a SuperMicro 5013C 1U server and immediately paid for it and for the item's delivery.
According to the specification on their website it should have 2 hard drives, 2Gb of RAM and RAID 0,1 support.
I received the item in 5 days and found that it had only one HDD, 1Gb of RAM and did not support any RAID.
When I contacted the store they offered me a 20CAD credit for useless computer or deliver it back on my own expense and come later for the computer replacement.
It would take two times to leave my work for few hours to drop off and pick up the computer and it would cost me more than the computer worth.
I still have not received from the store any acceptable replacement options. "

"ordered online and paid immediately through email money transfer, which they cashed, HAVE NOT RECEIVED CONFIMATION NOTHING AT ALL, they have a fancy online help desk that creates a ticket inquiry, did that still nothing from them, worse experience so far for ordering online by far, Finally got hold of company, he tells me been trying to get a hold of me(lie, no emails or phone calls)they say they had no record of me ordering online but when I told him what I wanted he knew exactly? had to redo order and it came three days later."
