Bait and switch, total thieves.

"Order a tv; got the call 2 days later that one was no good Chinese chips, better tv available for more money. I fall for it as I’m driving and say yes. I get home 20 mins later and research to discover the scam and no such problem w TVs. I email and call to cancel, 45 minutes after order-10 emails and calls to cancel all ignored. Then I get a call at 9 pm after hours from salesman pretending he didn’t know what was going on. Tried everything to keep the sale and last part he says it’s already been shipped, will cost $400 for round trip shipping and 10% restocking fee, even though I cancelled in 45 minutes after order- says was already on truck. Dispute w cc company and they say nothing they can do as is their listed policy. So basically they ignored my cancellation emails and calls, faked the paperwork that it went out for delivery (after hours) and it that was refused at my house the next day (I was at work the whole day and it was supposed to be white glove, SCHEDULED delivery! And not next day) the paper work then says returned to the warehouse ! $600 they stole as their”policy” and American Express backed them!"

Classic Bait and Switch!

"I ordered a LG OLED65E6P tv from bobstvs.com for $3679 on 6-26-16 after reviewing the website and product.

After my order was placed, i received an email stating my order number and stating i would get a confirmation email after sales staff has reviewed the order.

The red flags began the next day when I got a 2nd email wanting me to call the store to confirm my product and delivery. I was then told that the TV i was ordering was a 8 bit TV and comes from a different factory than the retail produc, but i could still order it if I wanted, but LG would not honor the warrantee and they need me to sign a warrantee waver!

I was then offered the OLED65E6p-U model, which i could have for $5999. I was then directed back to bobstvs.com website and to search for the model number, which now lists both OLED65E6P-U model for $5999 and the OLED65E6P for $3679.00. (the website only listed this during our conversation, and the $5999 tv was removed from the site minutes after the phone call, but I took screen shots!)

I called LG to confirm, they state OLED65E6P is only a 10 bit TV, and they honor their product warrantee from the original manufacture date, so the tv would be covered.

Don't walk, RUN from this Website!

"I am looking for research on BOBSTVS.COM...

I've placed an order for what seems to be a sweet deal. The BOBSTVs.COM rep explained to me that the Samsung TV that I originally ordered was an older model that was discontinued and would not have the 1 year manufacturer warranty that comes with newer active models. He made a suggestion which was just a bit more than what I originally started off with but I would have a better TV with a 1 year warranty.

In researching the new model, I could not find any specs on it. So i called BOBSTVS.COM and the rep gave me an explanation that made some sense, enough to put me at ease, but not clear enough to stop me from researching the company (hence my post). Prior to ending the convo with the rep, I asked about model that I came across on Samsung's website that Bob's had on their site as well. This model was more money and when I asked the rep what was his opinion between the one I purchased and the one I inquired about he said he definitely go with the one I already ordered.

I am still weary but appreciate the representative not upsetting me when I gave him the perfect opportunity to do so. However, I need to be realistic about this and consider that the markup on the item may be the reason for this - why would they up-sell if the profit is less???

"I ordered my television and finally got it! I am really excited to use it as I've been watching my soap operas on my old TV. I have been looking to purchase for a while but never found the price I was content with . I saw something that caught my eye and ordered it on the phone. "I ordered my new flat screen from this company . The representative was really helpful with picking the exact thing I wanted. I was picky since I didn't have a new television in 20 years now and he was patient going over all options with me. I'm very happy with their service. They shipped it to me the exact time they said they would. I called to thank them because I was so satisfied with the service. "BUYER BEWARE.

Bobstvs.com advertised a LG 55EC9300 for $1,049.- with free UPS Freight shipping and no sales tax. (Presumably brand new in sealed box).
I placed the order and received a "confirmation" email.

After waiting for the tracking number for 2 days, I called and spoke with "George", who told me that it would be shipped directly from LG's distribution center on the "East Coast" and that he would contact them for the shipping info.
Again, no further info by email, so I called again and was told that LG's "Freight Forwarder" does not ship to my location and that the item was too bulky to be accepted for UPS Freight shipping.
Well, dimensions and weight for the LG 55EC9300 box is well below the max limit for UPS, so that was total b.s., and UPS of course delivers to our address.
So now I know I am being scammed - and interestingly Bob's Tvs website is today listing the item for $1697.- (same as all other dealers).
So, as the saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it IS too good to be true!
Buying it from local BB instead.

UPDATE
Got a call today from Jason, who said he was the owner of this business.
Told me that he was very concerned about my review and wanted to assure me that he would do everything to make me satisfied. Told him that I had already bought a tv from BB - and that I was not interested in doing business with him. He was very persistent and said that if I would write a positive review he would ship me a free Monster cable.
To get him off my back I agreed to delete my post - but there is no easy way to do that on resellerratings.com - and I am certainly NOT going to make a recommendation. So instead I will increase the STARS from 1 to 3.

"I ordered the LG television from Bobs, I got it at the exact date that they said they would ship. Not only that they were on top of everything and made sure I got the best service when I gave them a call just to confirm my order went through. When I got the television the coloring of it was amazing, and the sound system was great as well. Watching my shows on this kind of television instead of an old school one made it more worthwhile. Felt more luxurious and enjoyed it much more. I wouldn't hesitate buying from them again, and for sure would recommend them to any friend. Great website, and great service. "

"Typical bait and switch site. Advertises a lot of stuff does not have it in stock. They will call you back and try to up sell you to a similar yet much more expensive product with a Custom product number that exists only for Bob's. I wouldn't think someone like Sony would have a product number specific for Bob.
Don't waste your time or fall for their gimmicks.

"I spent hours researching a specific 4K curved screen TV....then looked for BEST price...which i found on Bobtv's; i ordered it online and received email from them that i would receive another confirmation email for my order. I did not receive one. I tried calling but they were not open yet. I sent another email to sales. Sales emailed me back saying that they had been trying to contact me????? Apparently they had been calling me but not leaving me a message on my voice mail! I finally got in touch w/ sales rep on phone, who only had the bad news to let me know that they did not have the TV i ordered in stock any longer!!! Itold them that I felt that i had wasted much time , and experienced frustration dealing with their store! they tried to placate me by telling me they would send me a free wall mount!!! how ridiculous !!! I told them NOT to send it, and that I would not be dealing with them ever again. I suspected that they would not have many of their well-riced products in stock, so I made anonymous calls to customer service on 5 other products....they had only 1 out of 5 items in stock!!!!! and tried to sell me a more expensive item each time!!!! disgusting! i used 4 different phone numbers so i wasnt tracked for each item i called on! But did they ever offer a slighlty more expensive item at a reduced price--NO! only told me of similar items they had in stock, and tried to get me to buy that one!!! unscrupulous! iBEWARE"
