"My experience with Baumshoe Law Enforcement Supply is very similar to VDubb and LEO103090. I placed an order, paid with credit card and a week later, the order was still with the "ordered" statut. I sent an email. No response. I called : voice mail. Today I sent a cancelation email not really knowing if they'll ever see it and really cancel my order. I don't even know if the have the product I ordered. Really TERRIBLE costumer service. It's experiences like that that frighten people to buy on the Internet. This company should stop doing business online if they cannot take care of placed orders."

"The price of the product was right, but after placing the order and receiving an order confirmation I did not get a shipping confirmation. After four days I finally sent an e-mail to find out what was going on. I received a reply saying an e-mail had been sent to let me know the product was on back-order. I checked my spam and junk mail folders and there was no e-mail at all. I sent several more e-mails and called and left messages several time to find out about cancelling my order because I found the product locally for a comparable price. I never received any further communications, to include anything telling me if my order had shipped or not. I didn't dare buy the one I found because I didn't want to end up with two of the same thing, especially for how much I was spending. The day after my order finally showed up at my house I got another e-mail saying the order had been cancelled and that the money would show up on my credit card automatically. I immediately received another e-mail stating that he was wrong, that he had been looking at the wrong invoice and that my order should arrive soon.

Overall, customer service was severely lacking and they couldn't seem to keep track of their orders. I will never order from these guys again! I'd rather spend more money and order from a more reputable site."

"Dan Schuster = Exceptional!!! On Dec. 11th I called Baumshoe and left a message to inquire about their shipping as I needed an item for the holidays (which was a mere 2 weeks away). I placed the order from Baumshoe because another web-based company failed to follow-through on their customer service, shipping, etc. Later that afternoon Dan called me to discuss my purchase as well as the shipping time, delivery, etc. I was more than satisfied with that but then that evening Dan sent me an email thanking me for the order! Christmas came and went and my husband actually wanted a different item. I contacted Dan via email and there he was again with his superb customer service. We have discussed the return/exchange and Dan has been phenomenal the entire time. I cannot say enough about how great it was to deal with him. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone!!! I found a well-rated vendor for technical equipment here on R-R, placed my order, and alas, I got an email the next day stating that all of the items I ordered were back-ordered for weeks. That was not good. So, I started scouring around the Net, and found another vendor--- Baumshoe. Their prices were competitive, so I checked here and found encouraging ratings. Before ordering, though, I checked with them to see if they had the items I needed in stock. Dan Schuster emailed me personally within hours of my order placement. I called and spoke with him next day, and placed my order. What great service! My order was fulfilled and shipped within hours, and I received it within 3 days. It was exceptionally well packed. Everything was there, and Dan even threw in a pack of specialty tactical clips for attaching gear. They are the real deal. I will definitely be a repeat customer. If you need tactical, EMS, LEO, etc. gear/clothing give them your business. You will be pleased. They definitely get my highest rating.

UPDATE of 04/18/2010:
Since my 1st experience was so good, I went to Baumshoe to get gear for an upcoming trip to Asia in June. This Order was for 12 items. Within hours Dan Schuster got back to me with a list of what he had and what he did not. He also made excellent suggestions for alternatives to items I had ordered---things I hadn't even thought of. It doesn't get any better than this. In short time, Dan had compiled my revised Order and it was out the door the next day! In order to ensure that I got all my items quickly, he arranged to have some ship from store, others from his warehouse and some from manufacturer--all at no extra shipping costs to me. Everything arrived in great shape.
As the trip approaches, I'll probably need more stuff. There's no question where I'm headed to order what I need. Baumshoe and Dan are the best!"
