"My son bought a 22" Grade-a monitor from these guys and what a surprise he got it on time, well packed and in great condition. We tried several difirent vendors before as far as refurbished equipment and Azatek is the one who I'd rate as 10 out of 10. Well heaving positive expirience make you wondering what else can be bought from same company. Now I have 2 monitors and 1 laptop (Dell c610- great computer!) all from Azatek.
One thing I want to suggest though, if you placed the order and didnt received confirmation email, then call them and ask to send confirmation again. This way you will always be on top of whats going on with your order.

"This reseller offers refurbished or used monitors. It grades monitors into "A" or "B,"
with grade A monitors being in advertised, working
condition. I ordered a Sony-made IBM monitor supposedly in "like new" condition. The website noted it did not come with a digital cable. Well guess what? It not only came with no cables or manual, but it also is permanently tilted to the left (I know how to adjust the base) and had a big scratch on one side and was DOA. Ran power test without hookup -- no go. Tried both input signals -- nada. Cannot reach for RMA via website, or phone. Guy answering phone said the support staff was "out" and I called at 9:30 a.m. sharp. Given the big run around. STAY AWAY!

"I found Azatek through Pricewatch. While looking for a monitor. I found that they had good prices, so I decided to buy from them. When I got my new monitor, I noticed the screen was blue, and decided to send it back. Azatek has a 7 day guarantee policy wich they will exchange it with pre-paid shipping. Every time I got an email from them, they were always very nice. Although there was a delay in my RMA due to some one leaving the company, they did get my new monitor shipped to me. Then found out that the pre-paid label was missing, and they immediately emailed me a new one to send back the faulty monitor. Like I stated above, every email I recieved from them, they were very nice and proffesional. "

"Wow.

I'd heard from a friend about Azatek, and found a 17" widescreen Fujitsu LCD monitor for 359.00.

I'm in Phoenix, so I drove to Chandler (about 20 minutes away) in a friend's car (this becomes important later) and picked one up. Nice people and an uneventful sale.

I brought the monitor home, and it was amazing...except for a stuck red pixel in the mid left of the screen.

I called the next day, and asked if they'd exchange the monitor via UPS...as the car was history.

Instead, I got the replacement monitor delivered the next day by an employee.

The replacement was flawless, obviously carefully scrutinized before I received it.

Needless to say, my experience with Azatek has been exceptional...the test of any company is how they handle problems if and when they arise, and Azatek went above and beyond...instead of arguing and hiding behind small print, they made good above and beyond.

"Checked the company's rating out on several online retail ratings service and was confident that this company was reputable. I made a purchase of a used 21" monitor and thought the price was very reasonable for being in grade 'A' condition. Their ad talked of 'award winning color', etc. So I thought it was a bargain.

The next week, the item arrived, and I brought it home and pulled it out of its box. I noticed it had a scratch on the side, was dusty and appeared it hadn't been detailed for the physical appearance was less than the grade 'a' I thought I had purchased. No big deal as long as the picture was true to their website's claim as 'award winning'.

I plugged it in, powered it up and the picture came in very blurry. I tried everything from adjusting the contrast, brightness, etc. The best I could get was not good at all. Text was blurry especially on the edges and their was noticeable browning on the edges too.

Whatever I tried did little to help the picture quality and to look at text nearly hurt the eyes because it was so out of focus. Disenchanted as I was, I contacted Azatech first by phone the next day. The person in customer service agreed with me and told me what I recieved shouldn't have been considered grade 'a'. He told me to RMA the item by contacting the service dept. which I did later in the afternoon when I got home from work.

The tech guy returned my e-mail, however, not giving me information on a return. So, I called him up. He said, what I recieved shouldn't be considered a Sony Trinitron and I told him I didn't pay for a grade 'c' monitor either. (i've noticed they have grade 'b' monitors of the same make/model as mine for nearly half the price too which would be more than I would be willing to pay for what I recieved also.)

After go around with Alex, I asked him what I had to do to return this heap they sent me. He said the company has 2 policies, those who want a money back return, and those who want to trade monitors. Of course, if you want your money back, the honus is on the customer to pay shipping, restocking, and whatever other fees they can chisel out. However, he made an offer to 'upgrade' to a Hitachi for $41 and I acquiesced.

He then forwarded me the necessary RMA papers to have it returned, and I repackaged the 'bait and switch' monitor for return.

Nearly three weeks later, I recieve an e-mail from a third-party e-mailing service telling me a package is on its way from Azatek. I have no idea what they are sending me since they never contacted me after I returned the monitor. I find this practice very peculiar and unprofessional and hope nobody goes through this type of e-tailing hassle.

"I ordered a 'Grade B' monitor from this vendor. The item was received in a timely manner. However, when I took the monitor out of the packing box, I found what appeared to be some small specks of dirt on the left side of the screen. I attempted to clean the screen, only to find that it was the anti-glare coating coming off of the screen, and more of the coating came off with the cleaning. Unfortunately, the vendor's return policy only applies to 'Grade A' products, so I'm out $75 for an item that is practically unusable."

"I bought the Dell P1110 GRADE A stated as BRAND NEW condition on their website
It did not come as described. Horizontal lines were blurry when I have the contrast over 85. Convergence was also very horrible, and impossible to fix.
I call them, which they are non responsive, and ask me to leave a message. They do not reply. I finally call the tech support number(the non 1-800 number), and get a hold of Alex, who helped me out. He was friendly, however, made me pay for shipping charges because he could not find that I have left a message, and the time I was calling him was over the 7 day free shipping period in which they will cover shipping costs.
So I pay for the shipping to send it back, and they send me a replacement. EXACT same problems but not as blurry. Convergence still sucks.
I call him again right after within 7 days, he says it has to be 7 days from invoice. I call bs, and negotiate to pay for half the shipping, he agrees. He also told me that a lot of the Dell P1110 have problems, and told me to switch to another model. He tells me to get the HP P1110 that costs $399, which those are brand new and not refurbished. I didn't have the money, so I went with the IBM P275.
Finally the IBM P275 arrived. This monitor had no blurry horizontal line problems, but the convergence is horrible. Though I think I am satisfied with this for what I paid for, even though it says BRAND NEW CONDITION.
Although the plus about buying the IBM P275 is that it's still under warranty and IBM has an excellent warranty. So this time I call IBM and they give me exchange, with them shipping first, and paying for the costs for me to return ship. The replacement had perfect convergence, FINALLY :)

Maybe I had bad luck to get three bad monitors in a row, or maybe I am just picky.

CONCLUSION: Don't expect anything brand new/flawless. Call within 7 days to avoid shipping charges.

"I am highly pleased with my purchase from azatek. My order was shipped out within hours of my placing it and it arrived five days later. The product itself (a used Dell/sony p1130) is in near mint condition with only 1 fingernail sized scratch on the screen and a couple of comestic blemishes on the monitor case itself. I am most satisfied with it's condition as a new Dell p1130 retails for $679.00 and I paid just $229.00 for this used model. I wouldn't hesitate to order from azatek in the future."

"I purchased a Dell Optiplex from Alex K. An extremely helpful, honest and knowledgeable sales rep. I was impressed with his quick handling of this exchange and kept the sales transaction in my favor for my needs. I couldn't expect anymore of what he had assisted me on. "I bought a Grade B 21in. Sun true flat trinitron monitor for $150 USD. This thing is amazing. I did some searching and found that this thing costs almost $300 anywhere else, and if you get it brand new you're looking at $1,000 easy. Being grade B it has a few little blemishes on the casing and the faintest little scratch in the screen. You can't even see it unless you know where to look. Great place for excellent, but very cheap monitors."
