"This may be an actual business but their are not one I would recommend to anyone. I ordered a dive watch early December so it would arrive by Christmas. 9 days after purchase the payment in pay pal went though. I received an email 3 days later that the USPS had received shipping information but there was no way to track the package. The watch did not arrive until after Christmas and their excuse was that the one i ordered was out of stock and they waited for them to come in but since it didn't they sent me an upgraded version.
It arrived after Christmas and I requested and RMA number. I did not open the box the watch came in I placed the new shipping label over the old one.
It's been 3 weeks and I haven't received a reply to my emails or seen my refund.
They will not; let you know if the watch is in stock, when it ships or provide any way to track the package.
The refund is now in dispute in Pay Pal.
Save yourself the trouble and don't buy from them."

" *****UPDATE: Upon seeing my review, the company came in contact with me apologizing for the inconvenience, blah blah and said that they would give me a 50% refund for the delays and for "dropping the ball" on my order. I was impressed and felt better about the company as a whole. However, one and a half months later, I've only received a half-assed email about the refund and, true to this company, I still haven't received it.
I had a terrible experience with this company!! Although their watches are priced at very great prices, their customer service is terrible. I ordered a watch on Christmas Day knowing that I wouldn't get it immediately after I ordered it due to the holidays, but I never expected to have to wait over a month to get this watch.
After the holidays had passed I called and talked to (a pretty rude) man on the phone about my order, and was informed that my watch was actually out of stock (which they never indicate on their site) but that they would receive a shipment of it the next day and that my watch's shipping would be upgraded due to the inconvenience. However, one week later, I had no shipping information, no tracking number, and of course no watch. I called AGAIN and exchanged various emails with the company and it took a series of 10 or so emails and MANY frustrated phone calls for them to finally get it and send me my watch through USPS express delivery.
I would only recommend this vendor if you REALLY want a certain watch and can only buy it for a lower price, because you will definitely have to fight for it."

He walks you though the entire process and was extremely knowledgeable on all the options from look to function. The price i payed for my watch was much cheaper then any other web site or store. "AvisWatches appears to be a real business, but not as high quality of a business as their advertised inventory would suggest. I've noticed a few watches they feature in their ads aren't actually available through their site. I placed an order on 5 May, but they haven't charged my cc, nor contacted me, nor responded to an inquery email. Speculation: It's a big web presence/small staff business.
Update: Customer service responded with a out-of-stock cancellation message May 13th (with cancellation misspelled several times, no rep name, etc). Recommend looking elsewhere if speed or quality service are preferred. However, the prices are great if you're not in a rush and they happen to have something in inventory."
"This merchant is not honest and is giving me the run around for almost a month and I still not received the watch I ordered. I placed the order on 03/25/2010. I got a call the same day from them telling me the watch went out of stock right after I placed my order and if I would like to order the model DZ7126 which according to them is the same watch with a different band color. I felt he was trying to push a different item on me. I decided to keep my order and asked when the watch I order will be available, and he told 04/02/2010. I called on 04/02 than they give another date 04/08, than when I call to follow up they told me the watch won’t be available for while if I would like to cancel the order or get the DZ7126. I decided to accept the offer since he told me he would expedite the watch. On 04/08 the order was placed and tracking was provided however never received the watch. I called them again they say they put a trace on the package and send me another watch in 48 hours. Guess what when I called to get the tracking number for the replacement they told the DZ7126 now is out of stock. I cancelled my order and now waiting for the refund which it will be another battle. DONT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS MERCHANT. THEY ARE DISOHONEST AND THEY WILL TRY TO GET YOU A WATCH THAT YOU DO NOT WANT. THEY WILL GIVE THE RUN AROUND. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE PLACE AN ORDER AND YOU WILL SEE. I hope this statement will help internet buyers. "
