"I was REALLY nervous about placing an order with this company because of the other reviews on this page BUT I couldn't pass up the price and took a chance. Boy am I happy I did! The product arrived before I was even expecting it, in perfect shape and ready to go. I received contact from the company regarding the status of my order (however, not updated on shipping status- hence why I was surprised when my product was on my doorstep one day) but I will definitely place another order with this company at a later date. VERY HAPPY with the product"

"I almost did not place an order from autopartsfair due to the bad reviews that seemed to plague this seller. But i can honestly say i did place an order and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a radiator fan blade for my '90 300zx. It was significantly cheaper than other sites I looked at. The order was processed in 1 day and had been shipped by the second day. I did go back to the autopartsfair site and check on shipping info. There was none on day 3, so i began to think the reviews I had read about poor customer service, long phone wait times, and speaking to foreign operators would be my lot... But to my surprise again, I was on the phone less than 2 minutes before I was helped by a pleasant English speaking native that answered my questions in detail and was able to give me a FedEx tracking # immediately. Product arrived on time (within 8 days) and in good condition and the part itself was exactly as specified. All in all I had a good experience with autopartsfair and would order from them again."

"After waiting 2 1/2 weeks for the arrival of my parts I finally called the customer service number provided on my order confirmation. At first it seemed that they could not even locate my order. Eventually they provided me with another customer service number to contact. Again it seemed they could not locate the order. Finally I was told that one of the parts ordered was not available, the second part showed one in stock, however the customer service rep advised me that waiting for this part was "risky", and the third part they were unsure of. What kind of business is this? In this day of computer they should have known right away that these parts were unavailable. Instead they took my money (charged my Visa immediately)and left me hanging for 2 1/2 weeks without even an e-mail telling me of potential supply problems. I requested a full refund of my money during this conversation (June 2, 2010) and was told that it would take 7 business days. Guest what? to this date no refund. I've been ripped off! Whatever you do, don't order from this company or one of its affiliates. It seems there are several websites being operated by this same company. You can tell by the phone numbers and the website format."

"This company has a very unprofessional style of communication. I placed an order online. Two minutes later I changed my mind and emailed them and phoned them to ask them to cancel the order. The voice mail sounded like someone's home answering machine with a big pause while background noise was going on and then a halfhearted unclear message with a name of a company that is different than their website. They never responded. The next day I phoned and emailed again, plus sent them a request by their online feedback form to cancel the order. They never responded, but instead charged my credit card (by the name of yet another company "State-to-State") and sent an automated email stating that the item was shipped. I sent them a further email asking for acknowledgment of my request of cancellation by either email or phone. They have not responded. I had to contact my credit card company and will now have to see if an item that I do no want actually is mailed to me. I recommend not doing business with this company. "

"WORST!!!!!. I have made many internet purchases over the years but this company is by far the worst ever. Was trying to buy custom tail lights for my 2002 Ford Sport Trac as a Christmas present. I was on the phone with them at same time I was looking at their web site. Talked with some clown who knew about as I did but assured me I would receive by Christmas. I made the purchase and was told I would receive an e-mail with a tracking number. That never happened and when I called a couple days later, that's when the fun started. Customer service people were more stupid than the guy who took my order. Needless to say they didn't have the product they said they had and after over a hour on the phone they agree to issue a credit to my card. I could go on but why? Take some good advice and stay away from this sorry outfit. Save yourself a lot of headaches."

"Worst company to deal with, no customer service, no tracking. I refused the package on their advice as the was added charges. They abandoned the package to UPS warehouse (refused to take the product back after they told me to return it for full refund!!). Refused to reimbursed me. Thank you to UPS who managed to reduced the fees and I took the package.

I got wheel covers they are nice, but after a few days on the car one started to cracked for no reasons. They indicated on the website that there is a one year warranty, but when I called, I was told that it only applies for wheel cover when they aren't installed on the car??!!! Beat the purpose!!

DON'T do business with them in anyway shape or form!!

"HORRIBLE!!!! i ordered front brake pads (5th) and my wells fargo account was debited for the total. i called later the next day to get a tracking number. first, they NEVER found my order #. several times i called. every time they said they cannot find my order! then today (7th) a guy tells me the part i ordered is OUT OF STOCK! wtf?! out of stock i said?? how the hell do you debit my account for parts that are out of stock??!?! he tells me hes sorry and ill be receiving an email confirming my refund and that my funds should take 4 to 7 business days to return to my account.
customer service was ok but the ordering and tracking and business ethics are HORRIBLE!
i got news for you..
BEWARE. you will NOT have an easy ordering experience with autopartsfair.com OR automotix.com (they both use the same parts vendors and selling methods).

"This was the worst internet purchase of my life. I placed an order for a bumper cover. Hours after I printed out a confirmation of my purchase (everything was just fine on the confirmation), I received a phone call asking to verify my mailing address. I was given a time frame of 1 to 2 weeks for delivery. Everything was fine. Then I got a phone call from them and they said they needed to verify my credit card information. They wanted me to give them my credit card number and verification code on the back of my card. I told them I ordered this over their secure internet web site and I don't give credit card information over the phone. They insisted on my giving them this information. I continued to refuse. They continued on insisting on my giving them this information. Finally I told them to cancel my order. Then they did not want to give me a cancellation number over the phone. After I insisted on the information, the person on the other end of the phone gave me the cancellation number. Then my husband called the company on their 800 number and got a big runaround by them. Afterwards, we purchased the item from another seller for less then what we had paid to this seller. This was an absolutely horrible transaction and I will never place an order with them again. I have never had this kind of experience with anyone else on an internet purchase. All I can say is beware if you buy from them."

"My order, a brake pad and caliper for a 2000 Subaru Impreza, was a disaster and remains so. I ordered parts on 23-May and received confirmation that the parts had shipped 25-May by UPS ground. After a week I hadn't received my parts so I began calling them, 11 times in 5 days to be exact, but I never got an answer. I then contacted their supplier (worldpac in this case) who told me that auto parts fair didn't send them my zip code so the parts never shipped. I corrected my zip code w/ worldpac and I alerted APF to this fact by e-mail through their website on 7-June. I also requested my origination fee to be refunded for their failed service, no reply. On 9 June I received my brake pads but no caliper. I don't know how I am supposed to use pads without a caliper, perhaps I am supposed to squeeze them together with my hands when I want to stop? I continued my calls to APF to determine what happened to my caliper and to find out where my origination fee refund was, still no answer. Now it's the 15th of June and my car remains on jacks, where it was almost four weeks ago when my parts were "shipped". If you like paying a $55 service fee for a company to screw up the most basic aspect of your order, if you like having a car you need to survive sitting on blocks for a month, if you like calling a phone number that just rings and never answers when you need service, and if you like sending e-mails into customer service black holes, then go ahead and order from them."
