"This is the -worst- company I have ever ordered from. I placed an order and they immediately applied a charge to my credit card. Weeks went by and I didn't receive my order. Attempts to reach them by phone and email were useless. They would drop my call and did not reply to email. One month has past and I have not received my order. I sent them a final email to CANCEL the order, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I entered a formal dispute of their charge on my credit card. I should have checked the ranking of autopartsgiant.com on the Better Businees Bureau web site. They rank this company "F" and is loaded with complaints.

An alternate positive company is rockauto.com which I ended up ordering from and got my part in 2 days! GREAT company! They are rated "A+" and are accredited by the Better Business Bureau.

"Ordered many pieces for my windstar. Took almost 1 week to process my order. I took UPS Worldwide Expedited to Canada, the best choice so I do not have to pay brokerage fees, so i've paid extra charges for that shipping almost 102$. May 6, two weeks later, I received the shipping notification. They shipped UPS Standard. Tried to make contact but was unsuccefull. My order came to my house I had to pay UPS guy because it's standard service and not the UPS Worldwide Expedited as I paid for. AutoPartGiant.com are realy bad, they never repond to your messages, almost impossible to make contact with them. They screwed me."

"This company is right up there at the top of the worst I've ever delt with. I ordered the parts and 3 weeks later nothing. called them and they said they were coming. Called several days later again and they said they were waiting for me to call back because they had lost the order. They gave me the option to cancel, which I was extatic about. I got the parts the next day at a local parts store. They never refunded my payment and 2 weeks later I received the parts. Now they are giving me the run around about getting a rma number to return the parts. Wish I had read all these complaints before ordering. All these complaints are valid. Save some stress. Stay away from these guys. "

"Ordered a part. Called them after waiting for a month. Waited over 40 minutes on the phone to speak to a person. Was told that the UPS lost the part and they've just found out today. Was given an option to cancel or reorder. Reordered. Called them 2 weeks later. Waited 10 minutes on the phone. Was told that a person who knows the status of the order will call me back that same day. Nobody called.
Called them a week later and was told that they canceled the order because they don't have the part. Nobody called or emailed me to let me know this.
Still waiting for a refund.
They used to be a decent store...

"worst online company ever .. spoke with a sells rep 2 week ago told me order had been shipped but to computer error there was no tracking number . was told it would be to me with in 3-5 working days .. called today to find that my order had been canceled . rep could not tell me why the order had been canceled or when. but told me that it was probably canceled around the last time i called and told me it would be atleast 13 buisness days before i recived a credit back to my creditcard . stay away from this company at all cost . i have pretty much already acepted that i will never see the money again from .. i will take it up with my credit card company though .. good luck to all who order from these guys in the future .. or maybe they wont be around much longer .."

"AVOID THIS COMPANY
It took them 15 days from my order date to actually ship my package. No response to e-mails and actual LIES on the phone when they confirmed that it had been shipped, even though it had not.
I tried to save a few bucks, and it was totally not worth it. Order elsewhere.

"I ordered a complete set of brake parts form this company. I saved about 25% over the cheapest local company. They charged my credit card the day I ordered, but did not send the parts for one week. The tracking number was sent the day after the parts were sent. The parts arrived 3 days later. The order was complete and correct. I am not sure what more you can ask for when they are saving you so much money."

"I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered $270 worth of parts for my 4runner. I live less than a hundred miles from these guys, It should have been here in three days. It's been twelve days. No parts. No tracking number. They don't answer the phone,I get cut off repeatedly after being on hold for 10-15 minutes. No reply to e-mails. The charge went immediately to my Capital One card,which I now have to challenge. Rip-off Reports.com also has bad reviews on this place. I urge anyone who is having or has had this problem with these guys to contact the Federal Trade Commission and report them. Let's shut these guys down before they burn anyone else.

Well Well! day thirteen my parts arived! The bag of head bolts that I ordered had been opened and resealed with one missing. The other parts were ok. I sent them an e-mail (since they won't answer thier phone) but I don't expect to hear from them. Now you know the rest of the story.

"Worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Found the products I wanted to buy online, then phoned to verify instock. Vendor represented it was in stock so I placed order. Received a verification order next day, but no shipment or tracking data. Called 3 days later to verify shipment, vendor confirmed shipped status but could provide no tracking data. Called 5 day later because I had not received product, again vendor confirmed shipment but could provide no tracking data. Said I'd get it in 3 days and associated tracking data in 4 days!Today, 8 days later received an email verifying shipment, then 5 minutes later a cancellation - out of stock notice. Turns out they never had the product and never had actual verification of shipment. Call center personnel are trained to make up status to satisfy the caller and they just hope it's right based on typical order processing timing - the supervisor I spoke with confirmed this and was unapologetic. He refused to forward my call to his VP. Don't waste your time doing business with this company when there are plenty of reputable dealers online. These guys are incompetent deadbeats!"

"Please believed in all the bad reviews you read below. It took them 10 days to ship my parts out, after I called them up on the 10th day about my order.

When I received my parts, one of the part (struts) was an used item with old grease all over it and the rod was not compressed in as a new struts should be. I called the customer service for replacement. They agreed to replace it, but I have to pay for shipping it back to them. They will not paid for my return because they said it was not their fault that the part was used. They keep insisting they never sell used part. shipping.

This will be the last time I do business with AutoPartsGiant. Saving a few dollars in shipping is not a very wise move. I should have continue to do business with RockAuto.com. I have never had any problem dealing with RockAuto.com.

"Believe every negative review you read about this company. They are very very unorganized and unprofessional.
I orderd a part a week ago. I was charged the same day, but no one can tell me if my part has even been shipped out yet. They also can`t tell me where it will be shipped from if and when it does ship out. They won`t allow you to cancel an order either. I will never do business with this company again.

"LET THE INNOCENT BE WARNED. Worst company I've EVER tried to purchase from. Somehow they should be banned from doing business. Placed order and told items were in stock and I would receive e-mail when shipped. Never happened, so I called. LONG,LONG wait time on phone. I was told order had been shipped and I would be receiving in 3-4 days. Never happened. Waited another week and called again. LONG,LONG wait time. Again was told it had been shipped but could not provide any shippng info. Tried to speak to a supervisor and was disconnected (8+ times one day, 10+ times next day). Persons I talked to were Irwin, George, Art(x204,claimed to be supervisor),Randy (x104), Robert(x206, claimed to be mgr). I could hear people in background laughing and carrying on but every time I called I waited 20-30 minutes before I got through and then was disconnected. I was told I would receive a callback after they checked on order. Never happened. Finally told all items on the order had been cancelled. Warehouse was out of stock -- even a plain gasket! No explaination why the false information or disconnects. Refused to provide any information on hiarchy of company management or location. Tried extensions 101-107,201-207,301-307. All phones rang - got couple of messages and only 1 person answered (he said he was new and after he transferred me to Art I was disconnected). When I ordered, I was told I'd get a 5 PERCENT (5%) discount on the order (Boldly promoted on their website). My invoice reflected a 5 cent(5¢) discount. HA. Still working to get financal matters straight. LET THE INNOCENT BE WARNED. "

"Purchaed alternator for my car on Friday, 07/18/08. Money taken out of account 07/19/08. Website says order cannot be cancelled on weekend, but they did take money immediately. Contacted customer service 1 week later, and after a 20 minute wait on hold, was told part had been shipped on 07/23/08. Could not provide UPS tracking number. Said part was shipped from warehouse and I would receive tracking number by email with 24-48 hours. No tracking number received. Called 2 more times within the next 10 days, (another 20 minute wait) and was told tracking number would be sent, but it was not. Customer service said they could not give me a contact number for warehouse as they shipped from several locations and did not know which location had shipped part. On 08/07/08 contacted customer service. Still no part or tracking number. Customer service hung up on me 3 times. Called a fourth time and demanded to know status of shipment. Was finally advised order had been cancelled that day, as the part was not available. Could not explain why I had been told part was shipped. Demanded email confirmation of cancellation and intent to refund payment. Full refund received on 08/11/08. Customer service very unprofessional. Could hear others talking and laughing in background . Will never buy here again!

"Don't buy from these rip-off artists. I hope that other people read this and the other entries before buying. I wish I would have.
I'll be checking the ratings of all other e-biz'
before I buy. A $189.79 LESSON. The lowest price for a part isn't always the best deal!
They should delete their return policy and just print: You buy it you own it; even if it's our fault - you pay frieght. & We never refund anything for anyone for any reason!
