"I ordered a Magellan map update from AutoNavDirect. It was shipped promptly, arrived well packaged and it included very detailed instructions on how to install the update which, if done incorrectly, can lock up your GPS. "

"When I ordered my numap lifetime subscription, Garmin would not let me download my maps. John at AutoNavDirect.com called Garmin for me and kept me in the loop as to what was happening. The issue was resolved because John was persistent and showed Garmin how to allow me to download.

"Outstanding prices and service. I ordered a Magellan map update from this site and could not be happier. I did notice a rating on here complaining about the shipping fee, but he failed to mention how much money he still saved total by getting it from this site and not the manufacture. I highly recommend this site and will use them for all future gps purchases and map updates."

"I live 120 miles from store location. I ordered a map update card (which is equivalent to mailing a USPS letter)and was charged $9.95 for shipping. I inquired as to the high price and received the response "that is what we charge all customers". Needless to say the shipping cost and lame response will NOT make me a repeat customer. "

"Do not buy from them! If item is damaged out of the box you receive zero support! Prompt shipping but very hard to contact. You literally get to speak to them by accident. They are polite when you speak to them , but there is no follow up and backing of what they tell you. They do not respond to e-mails. If you buy a perfect item that is not damaged then they are okay. The item I ordered was factory damaged, and I called the same day I received it. I spoke to them and sent them e-mails and I never received a return authorization. If price is your sole concern and you are willing to deal with the manufacturer if the item is defective then deal with them otherwise look elsewhere."

"I purchased a Magellan Roadmate 2200T from AutoNav Direct about 9 months ago. They were very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me select the right system. They answered all my questions, got my system to me quickly and the unit has worked flawlessly for me. Love that touch screen!

I also have an old vehicle mount Magellan system that I broke a small plastic mounting piece on and AutoNav took the time to find the part I needed and was happy to send the replacement part to me. This is just one of the reasons why, when I needed another system I purchased it from AutoNav Direct. Now that’s customer service!

I would highly recommend these guys if you’re in the market for a navigation system. I have recommended AutoNav Direct to many of my friends and they have all be very pleased with their service and pricing.

"I have had my navigation system from Autonav 2000 for over a year and I am extremely satisfied with it. I rely on all the time and would be lost without it. I never thought I would need it but it has been helpful in so many ways. Autonav 2000's staff is very knowledgable in their product and have been very friendly and helpfull in answering all my questions.

"I bought a GPS from these people mostly based on their pricing. They dragged their feet getting the tracking number posted on their web site, only updating it after I emailed them for it, but the item shipped promptly and was received in good condition. However, the GPS failed after 2 days, and when I attempted to contact AutoNavDirec to arrange for return of the GPS for exchange for one that works, nobody was there to take my call. All I got was "leave a message and we'll call you back". This was early in the business day on a Monday. It's an odd business model that forces customers to play telephone tag and become hostages to their phones - not exactly the "customer service" they brag about on their web pages. Companies that have a modicum of concern about "customer service" have reps available to talk, even if it does mean a few minutes on hold. But they don't just transfer you to voicemail and promise to call back. Unacceptable.

I then called the manufacturer's tech support, and they agreed to accept the GPS for repair as needed. But AutoNavDirect.com won't be my GPS source in the future. This was an unpleasant experience.

"I ordered a GPS from Autonav Direct about 3 month ago and have been very happy with the GPS they recommended. Since I have no prior experience with GPS and reading all the available online reviews got me more confused, I was glad when I found this company. They know what they are doing and provided me with the advice I needed in buying my first GPS system. Their customer service was superb. The rep. answered all my questions patiently and their prices are good too.
I have grown to rely on my trusted GPS. I recently referred Autonav to one of my friend and he told me about this site to leave a recommendation.
Yes! I do highly recommend Autonav Direct. Both thumbs up.

"The service I received from AutoNavDirect was excellent and I couldn't believe how they responded immediately to my questions I had before I even purchased my Megellan 6000T. My past experience in ordering online you either get a response months later or never. I have told many people in my office about their service and customers at my second job! I just can't say enough about the professional service I received. I even mentioned in contacting them that my Mom was also making a purchase and they assisted her with her order immediately. She wanted to know how they knew she was my mom. When ordering online from companies you are always wondering if they are a legitimate firm - - AutoNavDirect is my firm for life! One more thing my sister has a GPS system that now she's heard about the service mom and I received that she's wanting to upgrade and order from AutoNavDirect also! This is the place to order for sure and I'm looking at future orders for gifts!

The Megellan 6000T is fantastic and thanks to AutoNavDirect for making my purchasing experience so easy and worry free...
