"I received the Ashton Digital Passport 2068 as a Christmas gift last year and have only had problems when a virus infected the bios. That is the point I am at now, and Ashton Digital seems to have abandoned it's website and no phone, email, nor address is available to contact them, and I desperately need the bios and bios install utility to overwrite the boot sector virus.
Bad business to leave consumers in the learch.
My sytem still has 1 month left on it's warranty too, and I know that the virus thing isn't covered by warranty, but I can install the bios if one were avail.

"I bought a Passport 2100 Laptop Computer in October 2003. Three months later the screen started going bad. Now the screen is dead. It has a one-year waranty, unfortunately it is impossible to contact Ashton Digital. I have left numerous emails and have called of fifty times. The company answering machine says they are expanding to a larger facility. The same message has been playing over 8 months now. They have no support and don't honor warranties. This is a bad company. Let the buyer beware."

"Bought Passport 2100 thru Tigerdirect,sent $100 rebate form to Ashtodigital on 9/29/03, it is now 2/18/2004.
Despite numerous emails still no rebate.
I have filed complaints with FTC,FL and CA Attorney Generals, and the BBB
Do not do business with them!
