"I ordered a same day delivery from the ArtTownGifts service to be delivered for my mother's birthday. At the completion of the day, there was no delivery that had been made. When I called, I was immediately directed to their voicemail by the automated system. In fact, it encouraged email over speaking to a person. I emailed and wait for hours for a response.
Finally, I called back multiple times and finally reached someone. This person was clueless as to where my order was and why it wasn't delivered. They then hung up on me. I emailed them back requesting a call back - which they answered with an email. I asked for a refund on the gift for my mother. They said that the "driver had called and could not reach me." Upon inspection of my phone, I received no missed calls from anyone and no voicemails.
It was now two days from my mother's birthday and the "same day delivery" did not go through. They claimed I am being refunded but this has not been completed yet. I am beyond frustrated with this service. I do not post reviews online but felt compelled as I feel I was dupped out of $100 for a gift for my mother. "

"I called to ask if a gift could be sent on a particular day and they said "yes". Thereafter, I ordered ahead of time and paid for shipping twice (coz the items were supposed to be from different places). However, neither was delivered on the day and arttown said they couldn't guarantee delivery (contradicatary to what they told me before I ordered). They said they will see if they could refund some of my shipping cost (couldn't guarantee all). What a joke. Arttown mislead me into ordering and paying excessive charges, and the birthday surprise was ruined/not delivered on time. Very very disappointed. "
