Read the reviews and didn't listen!

"So, my $1400 Asus went out after 2yrs. I need a Laptop and or computer for my job. I wanted to spend the money on buying a replacement board for my Asus but, the 1st mistake was listening to my wife that told me to buy a cheap laptop to get me by until I could afford a new one. So, being a long time customer (YEARS) of Newegg, I found this inexpensive DELL. So I purchased it. Recieved the email confirmation that said my product is coming from Arrow Direct. I thought that was a bit strange that Newegg didnt have this item in stock ready to go. But then again, Ebay uses resellers and do not stock items they sell but rather broker them for other businesses. Amazon sometimes will broker but they typically have the product on hand ready to go!

So, I paid for expedited overnight shipping. Ordered Monday. Tuesday I get an email from Newegg that my payment was successful and that my order will be processed in 1-3 business days? Nothing in the ad states a processing time. I check on the Newegg site and their is no information about my order or that I even ordered anything. I emailed Newegg got no response. Day 3. I called Newegg about my situation and that I needed this laptop by no later then Friday. The rep contacted Arrow Direct and after being on hold for 15 minutes comes back on the line and tells me that Arrow Direct says it will be processed 1-3 business days. Now, help me out with this. If I am selling a product online, this should mean that I have the product, it's ready to sell, and it's ready to go out the door once a customer has paid for it right? WRONG! Not with Newegg or Arrow Direct! So, I warned Newegg that if my laptop was not on my door step by Friday, I will be calling Capital One and getting a charge back on my card. I hung up and decided to call Arrow Direct. The young **** lady who answered told me that they just recieved the order at 12 midnight yesterday. Funny, I purchased and paid for this item Monday! She also said that their is a 1-3 day processing time. I explained to her that "NO" where on the ad does it say this. I asked her if they were building this thing? She said that they pull the product from the warehouse, clean it, go through everything then it ships out?! Now, help me with this one as well, A Dell laptop that was built 7yrs ago didnt come with an Intell I7 dual core. 8Gigs of memory and Windows 10 pro! So my guess would be that they refurbished this laptop with the beefy upgrades and then once done, listed it! Why must I wait an extra 3 days for them to go through it if they already refurbished it? It should be ready to go "BAM" out the door and gone. Nope! Just excuses!

I could have went to Best Buy and purchased an out of the box laptop in and out done! But, these fraudulent advertisers make their products look so much cheaper in price then guarantee you with lies that it will be on your door step the next day for an additional fee so like an idiot, I go for it ignoring all the negative reviews on these guys and now I'm victim number 1001....

I order things on a daily basis. Amazon, Ebay, and they have always been straight up front on shipping times. I do not mind waiting 3-5 days to get something I bought as long as I go into the deal knowing that it could take a while to recieve it. But if I need an item like "NOW" and the seller is telling me it will take 1 day to ship but then pulls this bait and switch act that yes, it will ship in 1 to 3 business days THEN, ship out in 1 day? That puts me in a bad spot on that item! I dont have enough money to go out and buy another one on top of the one I had just bought!

Do yourself a huge favor. Listen, or not listen. It's up to you but, if I were you, I would shop around and look for your products that can not only deliver, but perhaps where you can buy and walk out with it in your hands! It's not, buy first, then wait for it to be built. Its buy, and ship! That simple!

I haven't even gotten the computer to rate its build or performance yet so as to the quality? I'm sure I will have much to say about that in time.

Atrocious

"Bought a refurb laptop via Newegg and the bottom of the screen had a strange glowing effect plus when closing it the display made a horrible snapping noise. Also, it was set up with Windows but needed Windows activation (didn't work) and found out I had to peel a sticker to see the activation code underneath which wasn't very obvious at all. When I contacted Arrowdirect they said maybe the display was just loose which is wasn't and finally got them to agree to a refund. Printed the return UPS label and shipped it back but a month later never got a refund. Contacted them and they said they needed the tracking number which I never wrote down but luckily found using my Chrome history. Sent them that (wish I sent along a picture of me sticking up my middle finger) and they said they would forward the info to the Financial Manager and a refund would be issued 24-48 hours. Ten days later still no refund. Not sure how the story will end but it doesn't really matter because the damage is done ---- stay the heck away from them is my advice!!!!!!"

Terrible

"Wrong power cord sent with refurbished laptop.

Bought one from Walmart got here before they even replied to my message.

Then the version of windows isn't legit. I can't activate it. The refurb requires a new copy of windows.

So now I'm 21.00 dollars for a Walmart powercord down and a copy of windows. For what I'm going to pay for this POS I could of spent more and got a way better laptop.

I purchased a laptop from arrow direct - sent it with the wrong cord

"The cord for the reburbished computer was the wrong one. When i initially emailed them, i got no response. Finally, I called Sears.com who sold it to me through arrow direct. I then got an email that said i needed to respond within 30 days.... they will not give me the right cord now. Never again."

No communication

"I purchased a laptop from them in December 2017. By April 2018 it would no longer power on.
It came with a 1 year warranty, I contacted them and they gave me a rma number and said they could issue a refund. I sent the laptop back and have not got a refund. It has been 18 days since they received it. I have contacted them twice asking for a status update and all I get is a response that their finance department is running behind.
They have had the thing for 18 days....How many items are people returning that your finance department can't process a refund in 18 days?

Customer Service was Horrible

"Purchased equipment twice, both times had billing issues on my credit card. Billed my card 3 times for the same item. Credit card explained how they could resolve the issue immediately, the ArrowDirect customer service rep refused to help. Called my credit card company again and explained ArrowDirects refusal to assist with problem. The credit card rep advised that we place a conference call to ArrowDirect. We did and the credit card customer service rep resolved the matter immediately as they stated they could. ArrowDirect treated me horribly and had an attitude with my credit card company as well. "
