"Overall, I would cautiously recommend the store but would make it a point of confirming on the phone that what you are buying on their website is actually what is being shipped. The desriptions of some items on the website are lacking and can mislead you, even though it appears to be unintentional. Customer service corrected the problem with my order with no hassle and that is the reason for my recommendation, but the description still ahd not been fixed.

I had searched for a specific model of a dishwasher, and appliancebestbuys had it listed on their website. The description left no doubt that what listed was the dishwasher. The price was pretty low, and the shipping was more than the price, but overall, the total price would have been at about 50% retail. I even called to confirm that it is something that they stock, and I was told yes. So far, so good, so I went ahead and ordered.
What came was not the dishwasher, but a small box with a part for it. I called the customer service and explained the situation. They were understanding, and, given that it was their error based on their website description, they issued full refund including shipping, which was more than half of the charge anyways. I was prepared to accept noting less, since none of it was my fault, and was pleasently suprised that I did not have to make demands or threats.

Based on my experience I would say that this store takes customer service seriously so I would consider ordering from them again, but I will be very careful to double check what it is they are actually selling.

"Ordered a TV that was damaged on shipping, was supposed to send a replacement in a week. After three weeks and numerous calls, they request more money as the price went up. Did not answer email, hard to contact on phone, wasted 4 weeks for nothing."

"I had a very positive experience purchasing a 50 inch LG Plasma TV from ApplianceBestBuy. The price was significantly lower than the price from any other merchant I could find (local or online). Maurice was very helpful in keeping me up to date with the status of the order. The TV actually arrived ahead of schedule and works perfectly. I highly recommend this company."

"Absolutely flawless service! Maurice is a real asset to eRetail, restoring my faith in eCommerce entirely. Not only was he up front about not having an item in stock, he went out of his way to find the item for me within 3 business days and actually called me back to inform me he had secured one for me! I cannot possibly imagine that after so many scamming sites out there, not only have I found a low cost eRetailer, but I have found one with both integrity and an understanding of customer service. My only complaint is their choice in shipping firms. This 100 lb television arrived as a "curbside" freight drop. fortunately after a $20 tip, the driver not only brought it to the door with me, but helped me take it up a flight of stairs as well. Hopefully they will offer more traditional carriers for non-freight shipments in the future (all major carriers will ship up to 150lbs to the door), or will offer a "white-glove" delivery for the price. Having to lug it myself makes the $200 shipping somewhat difficult to swallow, and I could imagine some issues for the unprepared. regardless, five stars!"
