"I bought a firm amerisleep mattress 3 years ago and used it with an Ikea frame. I did not realize what I was missing until we moved and left the bulky frame behind. I bought the amerisleep base 2 months ago and have loved my mattress even more because of it. Perfect height with the stylish legs and really comfortable. My husband converted from his foam mattress and really likes the fact that when I get up to breast feed our daughter in the middle of the night, he stays sleeping because the mattress is just that steady and shock absorbing. Kudos! Would definitely buy again and with the frame."

"I recently bought the extra soft queen mattress for myself. I had already bought the medium for my daughter/guests who visit. It was a little too firm for me and I debated for awhile whether to go with a soft or extra soft for myself. I read some reviews that said the extra soft is still supportive so I took a leap of faith and have not regretted it. I look forward to bed every night! I have osteoarthritis and wake now in the morning with less pain in my back, hips and shoulders than I did from my Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress. The mattress is a little heavier than I expected so I 'walked' the box into position. The instructions tell you not to lie on the mattress for 8 hours after it has been removed from its plastic wrapping to allow it to properly expand. I've used it for a month or more now. I find myself sleeping on my back much more than I had been doing and the lower back pain that I previously routinely experienced is gone. - I gladly recommend this (AS3) mattress. "
