Defective Motherboard | Never buy from Alvio Corp

"Bought an SuperMicro X8DTL-iF on ebay and cpu slot 2 was broken or QPI. Either way, told me he had another customer with same problem and he had sent him a replacement board and wanted to see how that went before sending me a new one. Said he was gonna contact me next week. That was Nov-22-17 20:03. So yeah, do not ever buy from these hustlers."

"This company does not know how to treat costumers, I tried to order a motherboard on their website at recieive a error after I entered the credit card infomation and I proceeded to make my purchase with another site. Three days later I see a charge for the motherboard I did not order and as the other reviewer they listed the mother board new and they shipped a refurbish product. "I had a bad experience with Alvio. I figured I would share it, because if it happened to me it can happen to somebody else.

I purchased a computer motherboard (MB) from them. The transaction went smooth, and they shipped fast.

Only one problem: I made a purchase for a "new" MB, in "original packaging" for $150. It wasn't really a great deal, but I wanted this particular mb. What I got was a refurbished mb, no original packaging, no software drivers, not even the mounting hardware that should come with a new board.

I emailed them and they tried to tell me that is how OEM products are shipped. That is not true, but I decided to be humble and just use the board. Then there was another problem...it didn't work.

I emailed them again, and they agreed to RMA and exchange. I shipped it back which cost me another $17. They called me a few days later and in broken English told me "this board don't work". I was very nice at first and told them "of course that is why I am returning the board". They then said I broke the board, something about the battery. I told them the board didn't work when I got it, and I don't appreciate them blaming me. They told me they would not exchange it and started giving me major attitude. Finally I asked them to please ship it back to me. They wanted to charge me $20 to ship it back. Feeling helpless and not wanting to lose more money, I told them to stick the board where the sun doesn’t shine. The guy told me to f***-off and went nuts on me before I called them "crooks" and hung-up the phone.

I lost $167+ dollars and will never see that money again. All for a board that didn't work, and should have cost about $80 new.

"My computer stopped working right in the middle of a huge fundraising project. Our IT man diagnosed the problem and told me what part to order - which I found online at Alvio Corp. After placing the order, I was contacted by Alvio sales department (via email) suggesting that I do further research because the part I ordered may not actually be the part I needed. After checking, we realized that the Alvio representative was absolutely correct. He provided the link to the correct part and I ordered that. The part arrived within a matter of a few days. I emailed Leo, the Alvio rep, and told him how I appreciative I was and that he had provided exceptional customer service!

I highly recommend Alvio and give them a perfect 10 in product and delivery.

"Every once in a while you encounter a sales transaction that towers above everything else you've experienced... Alvio Corp.

I was searching for a motherboard at 3am, LOL! My gaming rig went down and I needed a board that would support my hardware without buying new parts. I'm satisfied with what i have. I found it at alvio and ordered it. Then, after I placed the order, I decided i wanted to get another one so I would'nt have to find one next time. I called them and added a second board to the same order and then, they gave me the combined shipping rate for the 2 boards. Then, I got the tracking number that day and got the board the following day.... With standard shipping!

"Ordered several CAC card readers. Although the shipping was expensive, the CAC readers were at a good price so I ordered. After more than a month, I had not received the order. So I called and was told it was "cancelled the next day" and that I was sent an email stating that. Well, after checking my mail including spam, there was no such email. The reason for cancellation was because "they weren't in stock." Checking their site moments after hanging up, they had plenty in stock but at a higher price. You can draw your own conclusions. "
