Never received Merchandise I was charged for.

"I will have to follow up again with customer service. I did not recieve the items purchased a month ago and was charged for on my credit card. :( I would have at least expected an email telling me my item was either discontinued or back ordered."

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

"This is a horribly run company. I’ve dealt with this company for about 20 years with two purchases of IQ Air purifiers. This company has some good products, but many leave you dependent on them because they are the only retailer of the product. Many of there products you cannot even find the manufacturer online.

The public should be aware that if you have any problem with a delivery of a damaged or used product shipped as new..... they won’t even call you back. What this company does is tell you what you want to hear and then never follow through with support.

This company looks large because they spend a lot on their website and mailers, but it’s actually a small company. If you call after hours what you actually get is someone taking orders at home.

They are also dishonest. I bought a very expensive IQ Air purifier 20 years ago and decided to possibly purchase another because the company stated that the new IQ Air model has a motor that is 20% quieter. I purchased it and it was the same exact model and just as loud. IQ Air is their bread and butter purifier and I assume the manufacturer made this up because they were loosing market share to newer technology. They claim the IQ Air filters the smallest of particles through it’s proprietary hepa but believe me, I had the new and the updated next to each other and it wasn’t any quieter- even after 20 years!

I ordered a Powerpure 5000 humidifier that came used and coated with white dust and mold. I had to really put the pressure on for them to even take care my call. I sent them pictures and never heard back. Eventually they told me to throw it out or do what I want with it. I cleaned it with quat sanitizer for 4 hours with Q-tips, and even took the thing apart. It worked great until I dropped and broke the water tank a year later.

I called the company and said I would like to buy a water tank (like I said, they are the only distributor) and to my surprise the sales associate said they get spare water tanks from the company because many people break them and that they would send me one no charge.

Well in classic fashion I never heard back. I called months later and asked for their one supervisor. I refreshed her memory in detail on what happened previous. She began to berate me and tell me I was supposed to throw the filthy one out all the while not addressing the fact her associate told me I would get one for free.

When I pressed her she said they use to give out used water tanks to people but they were never tanks sent from the manufacturer. She did not or would not even sell me a water tank as I originally asked for.

Weak up front sales resources, pathetic shipping information, will find out about returns

"Not too exciting when trying to find the right product on the site, Received some help from the chat line, but minimal. Thats when shipping information took over, multiple days processing, talked to online chat and verbally only to be told it will come "sometime". Was told multiple times they didn't know when it was shipping and the order status on the web site said "processing". The same day I received a shipping notice that the order was coming via Fedex. Fedex couldn't figure out how to deliver on the days they said they would deliver, so I picked it up at the Fedex center to save 3 days. good product, weak buying experience, terrible customer support."

Great purchase

"Love our new dehumidifier/air purifier! Our Florida is more comfortable with the lower humidity and the air purifier has removed the musty odors. Operation is relatively quiet too. You can’t beat the shipped to our door price either. Very satisfied!"

They accused me of lying!

"Worst customer service ever! I bought a humidifier based on a recommendation from an online representative. I told the rep it could absolutely not emit any white dust due to asthma. Guess what? Yup, white dust! I asked for a prepaid return shipping label, which after about a month of neglect, was refused. The managers even accused me of using the wrong kind of water. I actually had to make a copy of the manual and email it to them to prove I was following manufacturers directions. They did not believe me. Really?! They did credit me for the product but I had to pay $30 in shipping because they did not take any responsibility for recommending the wrong product. This is why we buy on Amazon."

Zero Customer Service After Damaged Delivery

"My $1170 dehumidifier arrived damaged and missing the drain hose, adapters, manual and warranty card. When I requested a replacement, they said that they had to get approval from the manufacturer before they could consider sending another unit. Wait, what? I didn't buy it from the manufacturer, I bought it from ABC. After getting initially no response to calls and emails, then useless assistance I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Roanoke, VA. You should visit the BBB page on this company and see all of the complaints (33 plus) and low customer review numbers (aprox. 1.5 out of 5) before you buy from them. My unit is on the way back and I am hoping my refund is processed without any other issues with these folks. Never again with Allergy Buyers Club."

Great Product, Great Service

"I purchased my AquaTru water filter from AllergyBuyersClub since they had the best price,including shipping, that I could find. My order arrived quickly and in great condition. It was double packed (the manufacturers original shipping box inside another box) and worked perfectly when I set it up. I'm happy with my water filter and I'm happy with my purchasing experience with AllergyBuyersClub."

Read the exclusions list for returns

"Ordered expensive pillows in hopes to alleviate snoring, comforted by the fact that their no hassle guarantee would allow me to get the profile and softness right. Didn't think anything of it, as many mattress places will give you 120 days to return any mattress...

The first one was too big so i ordered a lower profile, softer version which was great. Then i called to return the first and was told no returns on pillows for hygeine reasons. I was told there are items excludud from the no hassle guarantee. I searched and found the list is as long as your arm.

Magic question is whether there is any notice given that the item is nonreturnable at time of order. I tested and indeed there is not.

Either stand behind your products or don't. If you don't then don't tout youself as no hassle because it is simply untrue. Buyer beware.
