"I found Allen's over 12 years ago and have used them several times a year since. When repairs are needed here on the farm he always has what I need, even in stainless, grade 8 and metric. Excellent turnaround and prices. Allen's is my go to place for nuts, bolts and washers. I never go to lowes or hd anymore for hardware - too hit or miss with their inventory."
"Made a considerable order of Dzus related hardware from these people. Was never notified items were even shipped! Checked with USPS and order was delivered to incorrect address but they could not recover or even find. Notified Allens Fasteners several time via e-mail through their website but never did receive any response or assistance. Finally had to contact my bank and file a dispute on the cc charge. Im not paying for something I never received. My advise would be to avoid these people like the plague. No customer service in any way."
"Couldn't find what I needed for my Harley at any local hardware stores and found Allen's via google. Their website was very well organized and easy to navigate. The search function works great for locating the right hardware. The prices on chrome parts were significantly lower than anyplace else I had checked out. I placed my order around noon and it shipped the same day. I had my order in hand two days later and everything was top quality and as described.
Allen's will be my first and last stop for any future hardware for my bike."
"I found exactly the size and grade of bolts I needed, which I couldn't locate locally at hardware stores and Home Depot. I checked for reviews and only found one on another site. It was so negative, concerning shipping costs, that I decided to check their shipping policies. They are very clear: everything is shipped Priority Mail, and if the order fits in the smallest UPSP PM box, the charge is a little over $6. If the order requires a larger box, the shipping will be more as per USPS priority mail. The negative review arose because the person probably didn't check the shipping policy. After placing my order, I realized I ordered the wrong size of lock-washers. I quickly sent an e-mail, but almost at the same time I received a phone call, asking me if I "really wanted 9/16" washers instead of 5/8 (the bolts, nuts, and flat, over-sized washers were all 5/8). He was already filling my order and would not have seen the e-mail until later.
Prices were much better than I found elsewhere (cheaper, with shipping, than I could have bought locally if they were not out of stock), delivery was fast, and customer service was outstanding. I would not hesitate to order again from this company."
