"NEWS FLASH: IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOO TO BE TRUE IT IS! I wanted to order a lens for my Nikon Camera. Their website had the best price $419.00. The High pressure guy talked me into another lens costing $750. Said he was the owner of the company. Try the lens, if I did not like it, send it back and they will exchange for the Nikon lens. Call back for return - same voice different name. He stated they are going out of business due to some fraud from the bank. If I wanted the Nikon lens, it would cost an additional $300. I returned the works and will battle it out with the credit card company. Honesty is not their first name. From the other reviews, caution is the operative word."

"DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL HARRASS YOU TILL YOU BUY MORE JUNK FROM THEM!! THEY WILL SELL YOUR INFO TO OTHER COMPANY AND INSULT YOU IF YOU TRY TO CANCEL YOU ORDER WITH THEM. "I wish I had read the reviews for this store before I purchased. I experienced and fell for the high pressure tactics. They sent the wrong product. Unfortunately, we didn't discover it until after the 7 day policy for return (well 90 days). They have been unwilling to do anything, even though I offered to pay a restocking charge. So, somehow they are stying in business in spite of shady practices and poor customer service. This is the first on-line merchant I haqve ever had trouble with."

"I purchased a COBY ALL WEATHER SPORTS CD PLAYER through UBID (Order No.: C5541547). The item was damaged, when I called their customer service, they asked me to send it back for a replacement, which I never got. I still have the proof of purchase and the return receipt from the store. Whenever I called to check on my order, nobody knew anything..."

"these are bunch of crooks. Don't ever try with them. Low price on web is a trap. I ordered "brand new" Dimage7i via phone(x215) because they had the greatest price on web. They sent me a used camera with photocopied manual and missing registration card. Called immediately to get return code and returned. I lost 60$+ for shipping but managed to argue to prevent 15% restocking fee.
Their excuse was that they don't open boxes of what they get. They blame people from whom they buy. But shouldn't they be responsible for what they sell ???
I'm surprised to see except for few, most ecommerce guys are crooks. Aren't there laws enough to stop them doing such business ?

"These guys are a bunch of crooks. I ordered a Canon Powershot S40 and some accessories (high-pressure sales), then, in a fit of buyer's remorse, did a Google search of this site and others and saw the terrible track record they have. I called back and spoke with "Benjamin," who assured me that the person "responsible" for the poor ratings here had been dismissed and that I was indeed going to get the "in-stock" American version. I call back five days later and find out that my order was "in processing" and that they were fresh out of cameras but that I could get the European version (sans battery, CF, cables, warranty, and box) for $20 cheaper. Needless to say I cancelled the order. Don't believe their crap like I did, these guys are bait-and-switch scum. I'll be reporting this outfit to the state AG as well."

"Sony DCR-TRV25 Digital Video Camera. I ordered the camera by telephone and placed the order. The sales guy was high pressure to get me to buy accessories for the camera and I did not order any, just the camera. The camera arrived on Wednesday the following week in perfect condition. It was the US model with all of the warrantee information, accessories, and US packaging, not the junk "Gray Market" cameras that many low cost sellers sell. I had a good experience with this seller and would (will) do business with them again in the future."

"Ordered an Olympus C-4040 camera online. Their advertised price was the best on the net. The next day I recieved an e-mail instructing me to call to confirm. I believe the purpose for the call is to pressure the me into purchasing expensive extras. When I wanted only the camera I was put on hold several times and the call was eventually disconnected. I called back and was told that the camera would not be available for several weeks. I cancelled the order. Later I was called by one of there sales people who said they were calling to confirm the order. I cancelled again. Beware of this seller."

"Watch the posted prices on their online store. I purchased a Canon Optura 100MC which was posted for 999.99 online. I called the seller to actually place the order since I never have dealt with them before. I was told that the price online was after a $100 rebate which was available. I explained that I didn't believe that the rebate aplied to this model but was assured that it did. I placed the order and received it the next day (excellent service - their B&M store is only 80 miles away) US model and warranty included. However, the $100 rebate did not in fact apply to this model. I called to inquire and was told that I could return it if I wanted to but that it was a mistake on their site and that they were going to contact the webmaster to have it fixed, that it was an honest mistake. They were willing to send me a couple of items (2 tapes and a UV filter - retail val. probably around 25 - 30) as compensation. As it was not a bad price (low average online) even without the "rebate" (about $70 less than the supplier I usually deal with and from whom I subsequently placed an accessory order for this camcorder) I took the offer which I received in next day via Fedex. My only problem is that two weeks later, the "erroneous" price is still on their site, uncorrected. It appears that the price is either a loss leader that they will only honor it if you buy their overpriced accessories or an outright deception. It was nice that the rep was low pressure (sounded bored and unenthused overall) when offering his upsells, assuring me that he was just letting me know about them. I have mixed opinions about this store, the service was excellent, the rep was mediocre and utilitarian and the business practices possibly deceptive."

"A company that practice bait and switch. They promised on line and on phone that the camera I bought is a USA model Minolta Dimage 7. When I received it, it was a gray market model. They refused to exchange the gray market product with a USA model for free, instead insisted on selling me an extended Mack Service. I disputed the credit card charge and I sent them emails telling them I would call attorney general and evaluate them on resellerratings. They didn't reply to my email. Finally I called again and they agreed to do exchange, but not return.
