"I purchased tires from airfree several years ago and was very satisfied, so decided to order again this year. Too bad I didn't read these reviews first. I ordered in March of this year and still have yet to receive my tires - it is now October. They were quick to charge my credit card, and initially stayed in contact regarding the status of my order. However, the more impatient I became, their contact dwindled to none at all. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!"

"I placed an order with this company 9/26/2011 for two tires in the amount of $59.45. My credit card was immediately charged, but the goods have never been sent. (The charge shows up as "Gayle's Bicycle Tires".) They have a place on their website to send questions about orders. I submitted three different requests asking about my order. They never answered the inquiries.
Another complaint on this website against a company called "every bicycle tire" says that these two companies are actually related to each other. I know their websites are identical in layout, etc.
I now have to have the credit card company reverse the entry.

I would never deal with this company."

"First I requested information on if price was for a set or single. They were quick to respond single. I placed my order for 2 "in stock" items which it has been 1.5 months without delivery. I also have 2 complaints through their system without response. I believe this is a scam at this point and am requesting them to be shut down. At minimum I am putting them on a black list for my organization to make it illegal for anyone to purchase from them within my organization. It is a shame that a company that offers a product no one else does here in the US is really a rip off. Class action lawsuit sounds like it is an option here."

"On May 3rd of this year I placed an order for two 700 x 20 Nu-Teck Daytona High Performance (622)bicycle tires from “Air Free Tires” via their website. These were NOT special order tires. On May 6th I had a charge appear on my credit card for $106.39. The original agreement on their page said that it might take up to 90 days to make the delivery. At that point, if the tires had not been shipped, they would refund my money.
I have attempted to reach them for updates via their website twice (7/18/2011 and 7/26/2011). Each time I received an e-mail verifying that they had received my communication, but no other response. On both instances I also tried to reach them by phone. On 7/18 I called the phone number on their website, and got an automated response that did not identify the organization, but merely stated that the mailbox was full and that I could not leave a message. On 7/26 I called the number listed in the charge to my account. Again, I received an automated response that did not identify the company, but this system would accept messages. I left a message identifying myself, the subject of the call, and how to contact me. I have received no other communications.
At this point it has been well over 90 days, and I still see no tires, no attempt at communication, and no refund to my account. I have now placed a dispute on the charge"

"I ordered 4 tires on June 6th. It is now July 25, and I still don't have them. My credit card was charged within a couple of days. I have 3 emails into the customer service department, with no response. I have tried to call, and their voice mail is full, so I can't leave a message. I have disputed the charges, and will look for somewhere else to purchase the product."

"I ordered a replement tire for my ts turbo 1000 bike. It is used for cardaic rehab. Air free had a big article on their site on how they had helped over 500 owners of these bikes with tires, which are hard to find. I placed my order and have heard nothing. I emailed and tried to call severeal times without luck. I am very disappointed espcially when a company is dealing with people who need to use the bikes daily for cardaic rehab. I certainly did not need this stress. "

"I ordered 2 tires from Air Free Tires on 2/22/2011 and have been unable to get a delivery date or any other information from them other then automated emails. Their web site instructs that if you want to talk to someone you have to make an appointment at a given time according to their schedule. I made an appointment and waited by the phone but no call EVER came. When I finally found a phone number for them it is disabled.
I have filed a claim with pay pal and hope I can get my money back."

"I ordered 2 tires. My Paypal credit card was charged quickly, but I never got an email receipt, and never got my tires in over 1 month. I tried to complain through the website, and was given an appointment time which they were supposed to call me, today at 2:30 pm. They never called. They do not respond to my emails, their phone says "temporarily disabled", and they have not responded to my claim through Paypal. I hope they get sued and their website taken down.

Update. Yeah it was a "complaint." If you don't want negative reviews, get a better program and some customer service lol. I finally got the tires about 2 months after I ordered them. I had given up on ever getting them and figured I just got ripped off the money bc. of getting the run-around with the automated phone appt gimmick and lack of response to paypal complaint. The tires were pretty cool, but not worth the hassle. I heard some auto tire stores sell these kind of tires in store for cash money. That would be cool.

PS. I ordered online, so I tried contacting your co. online to ask about it, to see if it was an error. The phone call gimmick is what set me off.

And look at the paypal record. I didn't "charge back" I simply used PP service to try contacting the vendor, and when none responded, I filed a complaint via PP. I had no way to "charge back" anything or cancel anything bc. there was no response through your website or through paypal. Oh well, I'm over it. I'll buy in-stock tires from a vendor with a better reputation, if I feel like messing with foam tires again. "

"I placed my order on April 21st, 2008. Two weeks later my order had not arrived. After a few email
and phone conversations I was assured the order delay was due to a supplier. As of right now, Jan 2009, I have not received my order, and no one from AirFree has responsed to any of the emails or
phone messages I've left over the last 6 months. They no longer respond to inquiries, yet they still maintain a website. A bit of googling turned up the fact that
this company is a scam and has ripped off a number of other customers.
I didn't do my homework on this one and ordered based on the recommendation
of a friend, who appears to be the only person to have actually received their order from these
crooks. Save your money and DO NOT BUY from Airfreetires!"
