"My order total US$330.85 is Queued since 3rd Oct 05. My credit card was charged on 12th Oct. Today, 7th Nov, my order is still "Queued". Numerous email and on-line form has been sent with no reply.
It takes me several months to save up that amount of money, and my parent is holding me responsibilities for my stupidity of ordering from AheadGames. I haven't been sleeping well since then.
Please AheadGames, I paid you real money and I deserve to receive my order.

"It has been over a week (more than 7 business days), no change on my order, still at queued. Site states "Most orders will be shipped within one to two business day after checkout", I have inquired why it is taking so long a few days ago, and still have not got a reply."

"Aheadgames are a bunch of thieves. They charged my card within an hour of my purchase 6am on September 23rd. It has been 38 days and I have yet to recieve an Email response from the 6-7 emails I have sent them, I never got any responses from the instant messenger account and now its permanently offline.

They still have my money, even after requesting a refund more than two weeks ago.

They will charge your card and won't send you a damn thing. I can't tell you how strongly I would urge people to stay away from them.

edit: Im still waiting as of november 30th. I haven't received a single thing from them in all this time outside of the original automated reciept. That's 68 days that they've had my money, and 68 days without a single response to any of my 10+ emails.

"I've been having the same trouble as everyone else. It's been nearly two months since I ordered a modded ps2 and only a valid tracking number. I'm guessing it may be the post office's fault, however, their lack of contact unless you give them a bad rating leaves me with no choice."

"3 Attempts to contact them via their site form after having placed an order on Oct 17th, 2005 and had it remain 'queued' with no updates through today (Oct 27th, 2005). The site claimed items ship within 2-3 days but I received no confirmation of shipping or notice of limited/delayed stock. No response from anyone to any of my inquiries. And to be clear, my email will NOT block/filter their replies if they did actually reply.

I'm not so put off by the delay as I am by the sheer lack of response on their part. I have sent a final request for confirmation and to cancel the order if it cannot be shipped within 24 hours. There is no means to manually cancel an order on the actual site itself.

Will update this post if I do/don't hear from the vendor. In the mean time I would not advise anyone use this vendor due to unreliability on their part.

--UPDATED!!! ---
No response to my final inquiries. Sent an email asking them to cancel the order, and notified my credit card company that any charges from them should be frozen/withheld. I would consider this reseller borderline fraudulent and highly advise using other resellers.

"-= BUYER BEWARE =-

Aheadgames offers what I can only describe as bar none the worst customer service and buying 'experience' I have ever encountered.

I like a few other suckers found the prices to be great.

So I ordered product on the 13th of Oct. According to the website most orders ship within 2 days, that puts us at the 15th or 16th if the website is to be believed.

Its now the 19th and not only is my order status still "queued" but I have written 2 emails to the company and have recieved no response. Nothing. I mean absolutely nothing. No email saying "hey your order is delayed", no response whatsoever that I even matter as a customer.

At this point I'm more than happy to just cancel my order but alas their ordering system does not offer such a function.

Considering I cannot reach anyone at aheadgames I'm basically at their mercy waiting for my order to ship, which I have no idea if that will ever happen.

There are too many good companies out there fighting for your business. Do yourself a favor...

- DO NOT ORDER PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY -

UPDATE: I have sent over 7 emails to this company asking that they do not charge my credit card and cancel my order. No reply from them.

On Oct-28-2005 they charged my account for the product I ordered.

It is now Nov-12-2005 and I have recieved no word from them, thats 2 days short of a full month since I ordered.

I have just today contacted my bank and disputed the charges with the company.

I am filing a fraud claim against Ahead Games and my bank is returning my money on the 15th.

I advise everyone to do the same.

"Lets see where should I begin with concerning aheadgames.com service. Oh I know lets start with how I ordered a gamecube mod install on 9-26-05 shipped my system out the same day, which where I proceded to check my status on usps to see it arrived at aheadgames.com location on 9-28-05, which was a wednesday by the way. So I'm thinking to myself accordding to the website mod installs take 1-2 days before shipping back so it should be here around early october at the latest.

Guess what's it's oct 17th and not only have I still not received my gamecube but my order still status still says queded. After attempting to contact the site owner several times through e-mail he finally responded around the 5th or 6th time and that was only when I stated if he didn't answer me after how I would be forced to write a negative review on reseller ratings.com

Ummm he said it would ship it out friday it's now monday and my status still continues to say queded. Honestly even if he would have shipped it out in friday it's still to little to late, it should have been finished and shipped out weeks ago, maybe even days ago would be semi acceptable. All in all aheadgames.com comes highly unrecommended as stated before as of the time of this review and about 3 weeks after my order my shipment is still not here and remains in queded status, site owner only responded to my e-mail after I suggested if an action wasn't taken soon I would write a negative review on resellerrating.com and even after that he gave me a false promise cause my order still isn't here.

UPDATE

I finally received my gamecube on oct 27th and after about 4-5 minutes of gameplay my gamecube completely broke down and stopped functioning, it won't even attempt to read any games or media rather it be a real disc or backup, I don't even get the nintendo or qoob logo anymore, simply just a black screen. Anyways I immediately contacted aheadgames customer service and asked if they could repair whatever the problem was that same thursday night. It's now monday morning and I haven't received a response and honestly aren't expecting one since the site owners lack of response has become all to common by now. This basically tells me now that aheadgames has my money they know longer care if my system works or not even if it was working for merely 5 minutes literally.

PEOPLE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE, AND DON'T BELIVE THE SITE OWNER WHEN HE BLAMES EVERYTHING ON AN E-MAIL NOT GOING THROUGH AND THE POST OFFICE MESSING UP YOUR ORDER, cause it's all a lie, read the reviews above and below and you'll see he's used this same excuse on multiple customers. MY RECOMMENDATION STAY AWAY!!!!

"Buyer beware - aheadgames.com seems to provide terrible customer service based on my experiences and does not fulfill orders as promised. My order was placed on September 21, I received an e-mail on September 23 saying that it was complete and had shipped via US Priority mail, which takes 2-3 business days. It is now October 4 and I still have not received anything. I have sent four or five e-mails to customer support inquiring as to the order status with no response. The USPS tracking number provided on the order status page is valid, but according to the tracking information the package has not even been brought to the post office or picked up for delivery. So as far as I can tell, it has not even shipped yet, although my credit card was charged back on September 23.
Update: 10/5/05 - Shortly after posting this review I finally received a response from the site owner stating that the post office screwed up and returned my package, but that it would be reshipped. Will update again when I receive it.
Update: 10/7/05 - Item received as promised. I do believe that the shipping delay was due to a mistake by the post office; however, the lack of responses to my many e-mails until I posted this review still disappointed me.
