"We all know aeropostale and their products. I like having the option to buy from them online as I always have problems finding my size in a good variety of colors in their retail stores. I can also get garments for a much better price online. I mostly buy pique polo shirts and haven't been disappointed except for one wine pique polo shirt made in China whose quality was clearly below all the others I have bought (made in Indonesia).

WEBSITE
I like their website's design, good description of items and good pictures too. They also allow costumers to post reviews of their products, which is very useful and makes the website more interactive.

SHIPPING
They have $7.00 flat rate standard shipping with tracking on US orders of less than $250.00 which is a pretty good rate, and they also have free shipping on order of more than $100.00 very often.

TAXES
They charge taxes.

PAYMENT METHODS
In addition to Credit Cards they also take Paypal, which is great because you can ship to any address, no need to have a paypal-verified address.

DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTION CODES
It's a good idea to sign up for their email list so you can take advantage of their promotion codes. Not all of them are really good, but I've used 30% additional discount codes and got solid pique polo shirts for less 9.00 USD. They often have a nice selection of items in their clearance section too.

"I'm always looking for a bargain and Aeropostale had a great selection of clearance items. The website is easy to use and everything went smoothly. The order arrived just fine and contained everything. Absolutely no complaints and will definitely shop here again in the future."

"Aeropostal is one of the worst online stores that you can do any kind of shopping at, i went to their site and bought a hoodie top for my daughter, it cost me $27.14, after inputting all my credit info and filling out a favourable online survey, i got an e-mail the next day informing me that my order has been cancelled. No reason or explanation given. then when i checked my credit card lo and behold, $27. missing from my account, called them and had to threaten them to get a refund. terrible experience with this vendor, KEEP AWAY!!"

"Aéropostale.com offers some of the same products that they sell at their stores. Their online selection is scarce compared to competitors like American Eagle. Prices are fair, and sometimes, they do have some good discounts. Shipping is a flat $5.95 via UPS Ground. I ordered numerous times with them, and I'm very satisfied. If you don't like an item, you can always return it to a local Aéro store."

"I ordered two polos and a sweaters on Dec. 24, 2007. I didn't notice one of the polos is defective until last week when it was warm and I decided to wear it. It looks as if it were bitten by a rat or cat in the shoulders and bottoms. I cannot return it now. I felt very disappointed at aeropostale. I suggest everyone examine your clothes carefully once you receive them."

"Placed an order for 5 polos, then got a cancellation notice due to one of the items being out of stock. So I went back the website to place a second order, and lo and behold the same polo they said was no longer available is still available according to their website. I place order number 2 for 5 polos not including the "out of stock" one, check out, and later my 2nd order gets a cancellation notice for ALL 5 shirts I picked. Emailed customer support as to why my card was charged when both orders were cancelled, and suddenly I get a 'your order has shipped' email within 5 minutes forst the first order. Never had any problems with the brick-and-mortar stores, the online store is a complete joke, I won't use them again. AVOID."

"Received defective sweater and have been trying to return it since. They keep lying to me saying "the label to return will be emailed to you"...

After 5 calls and 10 emails today they laughed when I said I would do a charge back if I don't get the label today.

I will never bother with this crappy store again thats for sure. Beware!

"This is my third time ordering from Aeropostale online. The first time I ordered, my items arrived quickly and were well-packed. The second order took almost three days to process before I received an email stating that Aeropostale had received my order information. Then I didn't hear anything for two weeks, and finally after several emails with the customer service, they unexpectedly cancelled my order three weeks after I placed it. After that I decided not to order from the online store anymore, but because Google offered $10 off $30 and aeropostale.com offered free shipping on top of their Thanksgiving sale, I decided try my luck again. I placed the order on November 24, which was almost two weeks ago. About four days after placing my order, I received an email stating that they had shipped out my order.. but I checked today (December 4) and it JUST left their facility according to the tracking information and the expected arrival is another week at least.. which means that I will not receive my order until almost three weeks after placing it, which is pretty ridiculous...."
