There was an issue with billing, but it was my fault, sort of. When I finalized my order there was a communication problem and the screen noted that you should call customer service (a number was provided) and you should NOT go back and try to resubmit. Of course I went back before thinking, and also before writting down the number. I resubmitted my order so I could get the number to call, and in so doing was charged twice.
There customer service rep (Don) was very helpful, accomadting, and apologetic. He jumped through hoops to clear up the problem, and even faxed my bank so they could release the "hold" on my card, which was crucial because I could not afford to have that amount of money not available right before Christmas. I received my goods in record time and couldn't be more pleased. I have dealt with many online photo stores, most notably B&H and Adorama, and I think I will turn to Adray first from now on. Thanks Don!"
"This is my first purchase and I will not hesitate one second to buy from this merchant again! This is NOT a "play games, high pressure, etc., etc." merchant. I bought a Sigma 10-20mm lens (online, not by phone) for the cheapest price and I searched literally dozens of sites. I chose 2 day delivery, it was here on time and in perfect condition, courtesy of FED EX which I was able to track. (Shipped from Dearborn,MI to Buffalo,NY). Shipping was fair priced and fast! I ordered off their site on a late Sunday night and the items were in my hands by Wednesday morning. The only glitch was that their "items have shipiped" e-mail notification does not include the tracking number by default. No problem, gave them a call and got the tracking number within 5 minutes.
