Showed 7 in stock, but didn't have any!

"They issued a tracking number took money but never shipped! Come to find our through messaging they were out of stock and waiting for shipment from manufacturer. But still showed 7 available on Amazon. Sounds like a big **** scam to me!!!"

*SCAM* - Do Not Do Business With Absolutely Pets

"I ordered super important Senilife for my aging dog who has dementia. The product was supposed to arrive within a few days. After two plus weeks and discussing with Amazon, they finally reached out to the company. Apparently, Absolutely Pets took my money and never shipped the item. After Amazon officially took next steps and reached out over email to the company, a week later the company finally responded with emails going back and forth when the issue was pretty simple; however, it was not to them. They again asked for my address to ship the product and it took another week for it to arrive.

Just abhorrent and disgusting behavior from the company; especially, when dealing with such a critical issue of preserving my dog's life. The company does not care at all. I will be filing further complaints after the ones already done.

I DON'T WANT TO SEE THIS HAPPEN TO ANOTHER PET OWNER. IT BREAKS MY HEART! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY.

"I recently ordered an eye medication from this seller through their Amazon.com storefront. When the medication arrived, I noticed that the expiration date on the bottle was TEN DAYS from the date of delivery, and LESS THAN TWO WEEKS from the purchase date. I contacted the manufacturer of the product, and they told me that new vials of this medication were going out with expiration dates set TWO YEARS in the future. They had heard other complaints about this seller, which also goes by the name 'California Pet Pharmacy' or CalPetRX. Their so-called Customer 'Service' is virtually nonexistent, comprised of know-nothing CSRs and managers who are always "out at the moment." Beware!"

"I ordered a product from Absolutely Pets which did not arrive. (the fault of the postal service, it was promptly shipped). When I e-mailed the company to say that my product had not arrived they responded promptly and in detail what they were doing to resolve the situation, and when the postal service was unable to track the package issued me a full refund promptly. Problem resolved in 24 hours or less. EXCELLENT customer service and I will certainly order from them again. (This is in start contrast to "Entirely Pets", who have YET to refund an undelivered $100 order from 3 months ago...)"

"Feb 3, 2009, I placed an order, got charged for USPS Priority Mail for $6.75, and got a shipment notice from them on the same day.

Feb 12, 2009, I recenved an email from "Jay" telling me that the product is in back order until Feb 20, 2009. What was the shipment notice supposed to be?

Feb 18, 2009, I received an email from "Kim" saying that shipment is delayed until the end of February.

March 2, 2009, I sent an email requesting for an update on my order.

March 3, 2009, I received an email from "Stacy" saying that shipment is delayed until middle of March.

March 3, 2009, I sent an email asking for shipping information as soon as it ships. I never received shipping information.

I got the product in the middle of March just like "Stacy" said. I placed this order on Feb 3 2009 and was charged priority shipping. This shop is too unreliable. I would stay away from them if I were you.

"Be aware that absolutelypets.com (also doing business as mypetdrugstore.com) charges your credit card when the order is placed, then delays shipping the order. When you call to check the status of your order, you will be told it was 'lost in shipping' and that there is no tracking number. Later, you will be told they had tracked the parcel, but it was still lost. How can you track a parcel without a tracking #? You will then be told that the parcel is to be re-shipped 'in a few days', but no such 2nd shipment is made. Not sure what the scam is, but if an order was delayed long enough, say until after you paid the credit card bill, you'd have little recourse to cancel and get a full refund to your credit card. Shipping back damaged merchandise would result in a 20% restocking charge and additional round trip shipping costs."
