"Order was shipped the same day as the order was placed and arrived in two days. However, they failed to include the heatsink that I ordered. I have e-mailed and faxed them several times, and there has been no response back yet. I have this computer just sitting here waiting on a heatsink!!!!"

"I made 2 purchases from this company. The first one went quite well. Merchandise received as stated and in a resonable amount of time. The second however, did not. My credit card was charged immediately for full amt. and order was shipped short, with no indication of when the remainder would be sent. I tried to contact them via wesite, but forget that. They do not respond. Sent 3 emails and not one of them returned. I highly resent being ignored when they were so attentive to charge my credit card immediately.I am going to contact credit card company to dispute charges in the next 24 hrs. I would not reccomend anyone use this vendor. They are not reputable, and have no business trying to do business. Next time I will look here before I buy. Steer clear of Ability Wholesale"

"I ordered a motherboard from this company on the 19th. It is currently the 26th and I've not recieved anything besides the automated order recieved e-mail. I've sent them several e-mails asking where my order is and why it has not shipped yet. As far as I'm concerned, I'm about 18 hours from calling up the credit card company and disputing the charges.

"Terrible customer service. Placed order evening of 3/18. Order status has stated "Ready to Ship" since 3/20, but after emailing customer service repeatedly (because their phone number doesn't accept customer service calls), they say on 3/25 product is backordered but will ship this week. Can't call to cancel. Don't order with this company, their downright terrible."

"it's been 10 days and ability has not shipped my computer case. this is in such contrast with the companies from which i bought all the other components to my computer: all of those were shipped within 48 hours and i've had them all for a week. i have $900 in computer parts lying around on my dorm room floor cuz i don't have a case yet... not good. i've emailed three times and tried to call twice. phone is busy and they don't return any email, except for a curt "will be shipped soon." i don't understand how hard it is to ship a box, i mean, come on. i wouldnt mind waiting so much, it's just that they won't tell me ANYTHING. i can't even cancel my order cuz i can't get ahold of them in order to do so. very disappointed here. i read lots of people who have the same problem as me... do not purchase anything from ability."

"AVOID THEM LIKE A PLAGUE unless you have too much spare time to waist trying to reach their nonexistent customer service - or anyone at all!
They'll charge your credit card immediately but ship things when they feel like it (I'm still waiting for case ordered on Feb 08 as well as $29.99 credit for power supply that I ordered and then cancelled because it was on backorder - back when they still had something resembling customer service WITH UNLISTED PHONE # and 30+ min hold times). THEY DO NOT ANSWER EMAILS (at least 90% of them) regardless of what their phone msg says; try it for yourself - call ***-***-**** then ext2 for customer service and listen!!

"This is the second time I have posted a message. The first message has mysteriously disappeared from the ratings. This company has performed VERY POOR as a business. I have ordered from them 2 times. The first time was fine. I ordered 1 computer case Made by Future Power. No problem. The second time(several months later) I ordered 2 of the same case along with several other things(Mobo,shims,fans,etc.) which totaled around $250.00. I ordered the products on Feb. 10 and didn't recieve them til Feb. 20. Ability wholesale was to blame for the delay. When the packages arrived I opened them to check out the contents. Everything was there. One problem was the cases were not the same case I had ordered. I had been given a different case that looked almost identical to the other case I wanted. This case was made much very poor and came with a no name power supply. And all the CPU shims I ordered do Not alow the heatsink to make contact with the CPU. Being hasty I put the shim on my almost new 1.4 tbird with out checking for clearance and burnt it to a crisp. That was $130.00 out the window. But, none of the 6 shims I ordered fit as they should have. They all kept the heatsink off the CPU. I have been trying ever since feb. 21 to get in touch with anybody at the company. They have answered my emails three different times out of the 20 or so I have sent. A week and a half went by and the first reply I got was from support and told me to get in contact with customer service. another week and a half went by and the second email Came from customer service and asked me for my order number. I sent that in and didn't hear from them again for almost 3 weeks. they said they would get me a call tag and refer my request to the credit department. I guess that means a RMA. They don't even know what I want to RMA becaus they never replyed to any of the messages I sent when I explained my problem to them. Please order from a diffent company That has customer service. A company with a good rateing. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. "

"I purchased an AMD 1.4Ghz Athlon, as an upgrade for a customer. When I received it, despite using the copper shim an recommended heatsink/fan combo, it shorted on first boot, and died. I immediately called for an RMA,(same day), an was issued one with only a twenty minute wait. I was informed that it might take a week or more for the replacement to be sent, so I went ahead and ordered another, so my customer would not have to wait so long for their system. Two weeks later, I received a call, and the person calling claimed that this CPU was never handled, at all, by their company. Since we had NO other AMD 1.4Ghz CPU's in the shop at the time, there was ABSOLUTE NO possibility that there was a mix-up. I explained this to them, but they stuck with their claim that we were lying. As I told them in my next email, they got an extra $122 out of us, by cheating us out of a replacement, but they've lost any of our future business, which is usually several thousand per year from each vendor. This shows a marked degree of short-sightedness on the part of their management. I'm just grateful that we only got ripped-off of $122, instead of a REALLY large amount. I pity the individuals who place large orders with these people, and can't afford such a loss. "

"Watch out for these guys. The order that I placed was sent on time with a reasonable shipping rate, but it was missing some items! On the invoice they showed the items as being shipped but in the box I was 5 items short! Trying to contact these people was a nightmare. They will not answer any Emails or take your call, so take this into consideration before you buy from them. Otherwise you could end up with a short order and no way to get it - or a refund! Scumbags!"

"First time purchasing from them. Placed a small order, 400W dual-fan PSU, CPU HS+fan, and silver thermal compound. Their pricing was very good for these items, and shipping costs extrememly fair. Overall I received the items in good shape. Now a few caveats. They took 4 business days (6 days total) to ship the order. The PSU was not quite as pictured (no power out, external fan guard was stamped into the case, not a wire fan guard). Could barely find the white thermal paste tube in with all the white peanuts. I would buy from them again, but probably not if I were in a hurry."
