"I placed an order for a pair of "new" Sound Appeal BT Blast 6.5" Bluetooth speakers. What arrived suspiciously was either "used" or "previously demo" because upon opening the box, the styrofoam was all broken in pieces. And if that wasn't a sign, the passive speaker was dented and the entire unit was dislodged from the speaker housing! If that was a new unit, how could that have happened and passed quality control? I highly suspect that they tried to pass off a used unit as brand new. Luckily, they refunded my entire purchase but told me not to bother returning the damaged unit. I would highly recommend purchasing your AV equipment from a respected and better known storefront such as Amazon or B&H. This seller has to be a mom and pop shop and definitely isn't concerned about the quality of their products being sold."

"Purchased this item from AV express. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee that also states they will issue pre-paid return shipping labels. What they don't point out is that they will deduct the return shipping from your refund (if you get one). I had to contact my credit card company and open a claim against av express to get my credit. The home theater system is cheap, only useful if you have a tin ear and don't care about quality sound. The reviews that state it is a quality system are totally bogus. Probably from av express employees. I actually bought this system (order number 145-524XXX) and can tell you it's junk. Do not buy from av express! Total rip off."
