ATT offers terrible customer service

"I had a company phone that broke, and was out of contract, but because the company I worked for payed a couple days late they would not sell me a new phone for 3 months(mine broke during this time). I told the in-store ATT lady to produce anything I owed, which I payed in full. Month's later I learn they put me into collections for $78.13 USD with ZERO attempts of collecting( no automated calls, no emails, nothing). Naturally, I disputed everything with the .gov website and it was taken off my credit, but NEVER buy or use this company ever. You will be extremely disappointed all around with their service signal, customer service, "fine print", and shady "BIG BUSINESS" and probably illegal behavior."

"Spent~$500 on a new smartphone only to receive a bad battery. Repeated phone calls are unanswered and emails come back with a canned response on store policy. Refused to replace the battery.

Terrible customer service, they don't want to work with their customers. I would never do business with them again.

"This company sent me a memory card that was not the correct kind to work in my phone (came in same box same order). When I reported it to them they said send the card back (at my expense)and that they would send the correct card. This is what I did and when they got it they said this is not the card they sent to me and accused me of buying it elsewhere and refused to send the proper card. They said they did not even sell the type of card which I sent back. I went to their website and found the card they were claiming they didnt even sell and they had them instock. They refuse to send me the proper card and refuse to resolve the issue in any way. I feel I was completely insulted by their staff and was accused of being a liar because they made a shipping mistake."

"I purchased Sony Ericsson K630i phone, received it in few days, $ 25.84 shipping cost seems fairly high for UPS Ground Shipment. My phone broke few month later, Sony kept my phone over 2 month, because they call it "grey market phone", phone, that is not released for US Market. At the end I got rid of this phone and decided to get a new one. I emailed atgsm.com and asked, if they would offer rebate for a returning customer. 3 days later, still no answer, so I emailed again. It is over a week now and they didn't bother to reply. So I decided to call and I have been told, there is no rebate for returning customers. "
