Installed it in a known-good system and the power supply was dead. Returned for a replacement and had the same results with the replacement power supply. Re-confirmed that the computer was good by installing a known-good power supply -- computer functioned normally. Returned second defective power supply for a refund. Merchant insisted on charging a 20% "restocking fee" to take back defective merchandise. So, I'm out 20% of the cost of the defective power supply and another $21 shipping to return two defective power supplies."

"Needed power supply for My Newphew's HP m7250n. I shopped ebay and the rest of the net for the part. With shipping This was the larger power supply and cost a bit less. ATX sent emails to confirm product order and shipment. Product showed up today and with a bit of kicking an yelling the machine came back to life. need to reset install harddrive and it is short one molex connect, but i can get an adapter for the many sata power connectors back to molex. I will certainly consider ordering from ATX if they have what I need. Kudos!

6/12/10. Went to install the power supply. It was the wrong one. 500W (ordered 430W so that's ok) Combo 20/24 pin. Correct. 2-Sata power, should have been 1 as I have no Sata items. 3-4pin plugs. I needed 4 as I have two PATA HD's and CD/DVD drives. So I'm short one plug. I now have to find/buy a 'Y'-connector to hook up my second CD drive. 4-Pin Correct. FDD plug Correct. It's not the end of the world but a big annoyance. Also the box with the supply had opened in the shipping box and was sliding around. There was no documentation included. This went from positive to probably won't buy again."
