Zero stars would be appropriate.

"I spent 4 hours waiting. Nobody called, nobody rang the bell, yet a "missed delivery" note appeared on my front door. I am speechless. Tried to call, no answer, tried the chat line, no answer. I have no idea, what is going to happen now. "

Couch delivery and setup

"Two of your really good mover guys made a professional and very good delivery of a Poly & Bark couch to our address in St. Charles, MO. this week. I want to commend Zach and Devon for a job well done. They carefully lifted and brought the couch in and also carefully took the packaging off before placing the couch where we wanted it. Thanks again."

Near perfect from start to finish.

"First the communication was excellent. They wanted to deliver my Frig & cooktop on Memorial Day weekend but I called to reschedule as we had plans and the were very accommodating and moved it 3 days out. On delivery day, The guys called before they came.
The delivery men, Antonio & Mario were friendly and obviously have done this awhile as they had the system down pat and were very quick.
I am waiting on the wall oven which is on b/o and I hope they send the same two guys as they were great!
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was b/c the guys told us they had to leave the gigantic Frig and stovetop box here for one week. Not happy about that but we were able to burn it but I kept wondering how someone in a apt would handle this situation. Don’t know why the company does this. Overall it was a great experience for us.

"Waiting almost a month for my kayak. Was told several different stories on why my kayak was still sitting at the terminal. With all the negative reviews i do not know why any MFG would use them. Customer service here is a joke do not fall for the line we will call you back they will not."

gives hours notice for delivery

"This company does not confirm they have the correct phone number so when they deliver they just without any notice. After that they confirm a date and you can call them over and over to confirm that delivery date where they say yes they will deliver, then they send a text message for another delivery date. How can a single working individual work with a system like this. No wonder why our country has problems with employees coming to work when there are companies like this. I am sorry expect better like a weeks notice."

The worst experience for the second time

"If I could give zero stars I would. This is not my first time dealing with this company and once again they were the worst. This time the driver called me and said there is someone parked in the loading dock so I went down. They were working on getting the drive of the van to move it. It was pouring rain and the driver never got out of the truck I had to walk out in the rain to the truck 3 times and I was soaking wet. He said you have 5 minutes and then I am leaving. The condo told me the driver could use a different ramp but this would require him to get out of the truck and get wet. While I was standing there waiting for him he turned around and drove off. I called him back and he would not answer. I called him back 2 more times and he finally picked up. I begged him to come back. I had already waited for this dishwasher for 1 year and flew down to my condo from North Carolina to take delivery. He said I am not coming back you can talk to my disparcher and hung up. Unfortunately this is the compny that AJ Madison contracts with to deliver their appliances so I have no other choice."

"They charge for "white glove delivery" but offer less than zero performance. The idea is to work you for re-delivery fees and hope you'll fall for it. NEVER use this company unless you want to be lied to and swindled."

Drivers are lazy! WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

"This company is a joke! Drivers claimed to be at my apartment complex supposedly they called me 1 time! I don’t know because the driver did not leave a voicemail I have tons of people that call me the least they could have done is leave a voicemail. I only figured out they was outside through the vender 20 minutes later. Vender Told me they waited 10 mins and was leaving and now I have a to pay a rescheduled delivery fee! Let me tell you how lazy the drivers are I live at a place where we have concierge services all the had to do is literally walk through the front door leasing office and my concierge would escorted them to my Unit I don’t even have to be home! Next day I called off work and answer every spam likely call just so I don’t missed them again. I confronted the driver and he told me he was here yesterday to drop off product. I told him how he could handle the situation better to much sure customers got their product. He got mad and had a whole attitude and did not want to carry up my packages and left them outside my complex! Customer service don’t care “I will contact my route manager and call you back” they never called back, apologized about the situation or anything cause this company don’t care about nothing Whoever actually use these company to ship any product is a cheapskate and I will no longer support any vender who actually hire am trucking. BIGGEST JOKE EVER"

Description of my experience with AM Home Delivery in Miami, FL: Dirty, Nasty, Sloppy, Unprofessional, Liars

"I live in Miami, FL. I bought appliances from AJ Madison and the items arrived at my home on time. The nightmare begins when they were supposed to install washer, dryer, kitchen, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. They installed all except microwave and dishwasher. It took AM Home Delivery to come back a total of 4 times over the space of 2 and half weeks, to finish the job, with the excuse that they didn't have the right tools to finish the installation. They basically left the dishwasher and microwave out in the open. I then proceeded to call them (several times a week) so they would come back and finish the installation of the microwave and dishwasher. It took many phone calls, and me staying on top of both AJ Madison and AM Home Delivery for them to come back and finish the job. If I hadn't done that, they microwave and dishwasher would still be sitting out in the open.

It was important for me to make my home safe for myself and my kid and COULD NOT have these appliances out in the open like this. Plus, the fact that I was unable to use them!!!

What respectable and reputable company does this? After delivery, they left and never called back to reschedule and complete installation??? Why would AJ Madison do business with them in the first place?

Details on what happened the day of delivery: as we were riding the elevator together with the appliances, I asked the men if they were also the ones performing the installation, to which he replied "I'll do what I can today, as I have 9 deliveries scheduled". I was #8 in the list. I was confused by his statement, because I didn't know if he meant he wouldn't be finishing the job, because he needed to attend the next delivery?

I replied, that I had paid for installation services and they needed to stay and finish the job. It is not my responsibility or my problem that he has another delivery to do that day, and that they are running late. His manager should have planned the day in a way that these people wouldn't be rushing at the end of the day trying to complete all the scheduled work.

As he was working on the microwave installation, he showed me the drill he was carrying and said "I don't have the proper tools to finish the installation". At that point, I wasn't sure if he was just lying and trying to use that as an excuse, or that he truly didn't have the proper tools in his possession. If the latter was true, why didn't he have the proper tools knowing the work he was about to do that day?

Another "thing" he mentioned was, that I could hire a contractor to finish the job. Seriously??? The reason why I am paying YOU and YOUR company $1000 dollars in installation fees (an hour max worth of work for all that money!) is so that YOU finish the job, so I don't have to hire a contractor! If I knew a contractor who can do this, I wouldn't have paid installation fees in the first place!

I called AM transportation and explained to the rep that the men did not complete installation because of "lack of proper tools" and they needed to re-schedule me asap. I also wrote a note on the paper I signed. I called them 3 more times after that (Monday and Tuesday) and have not received response.

I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and consideration here.

Very Satisfied

"I was kept up to date on each step of my delivery. On the day of the delivery I was given a time window and it was delivered as promised.
I had a chest freezer delivered and it was unpacked and placed right where I wanted it. The driver inspected it to make sure there was no damage. He explained not to plug it in for 24 hours and then wait until it was at the correct temperature before placing food into it.

Delayed delivery

"Today, we were supposed to get a couch from Poly and Bark. We get a call from AM home delivery saying, they cannot get through the gate on our military base. As my husband is trying to figure out ways to get them on, then the driver finally admits to his drivers license being expired. On top of that, he said, you will have to wait 2-3 more days to reschedule. Being a bit disappointed, we asked if they could reschedule for today. Since the trucker driver did not have a key component to doing his job, we felt the whole entire situation was very unprofessional. I would think, someone at the company would keep track of expired license, so that truck drivers aren’t driving illegally. "

Terrible Service

"Ordered a washer from AJ Madison. Was given a delivery window weeks after the order. Happened to be the one week we’re out of town. I called and asked them to change the delivery. The rep assured me no problem. Well, while we were on vacation they attempted to deliver and then emails us that we were not there, and may be responsible for a re-delivery fee. Get home, schedule the day. Take off work. The window ends and no delivery. I call customer service and they allege that they attempted delivery but no one was home. First off, I was here all day and had my phone on me all day. Second of all, I live in a gated community and if they had attempted to call us from the gate (the instructions were given to the customer service reps) it would have rang to my cell. I had ZERO missed calls all day. I call customer service and they tell me I wasn’t home, they couldn’t deliver. Seriously?! No one attempted to reach me. No effort at all. I was here, phone in hand waiting on this delivery. Honestly T this point I want to return the washer and just go buy one locally. "
