"I have alot to say about this company. I placed an order on July 1 and told it would take around 10 days. After 20 days I called AIPCS and they told me the initial 10 days was in queue and the next 10 - 20 days the computer would be built. This company is running a serious scam. They refuse to answer calls, tell you to do emails (no one ever responds) , they are always busy or "unavailable". Now, close to two months they told me I had to send a larger downpayment. This, after being approved and signing a contract requiring a 141 dollar downpayment. I requested a refund which they initially refused to do, however after two weeks of "crowing" on my part they have agreed to send the refund. They said it could take up to four weeks to process. If this is just an appatizer to get me off of their back....I'm not finished. I'll let you know if I got my check...Until then please visit www.victimsofaipcs.50megs.com if you have gotten the same run around. We may need a group effort in the end if they fail to cooperate on an individual basis.
**UPDATE**
I have been doing some basic subtraction and addition and have come up with this equation: Buyers Beware, I am almost convinced that the AIG financing which; talk has circulated, is going bankrupt is the owner of AIPCS Technologies. A failing financing company who owns a very low rated custom computer company??? What have we gotten ourselves into? I've heard all of the excuses that everyone has mentioned. With their low ratings, I have to give them an A+ for being so cleverly scandalous......

Lambros has just sent me a letter explaining to me that their lawyers will be sending me a package tomorrow, they are sueing me for defamation of character..LOL This country has yet to see a lawyer capable of removing an idividuals fifth amendment rights. PS: Still no check. I'll let you know. :>

9/9/03 I HAVE RECEIVED MY REFUND IN FULL! IT TOOK A VERY LONG TIME (THREE MONTHS +), BUT THEY FINALLY COOPERATED! *SIGHS* I WISH EVERYONE ELSE THE SAME COOPERATION FROM AIPCS. =)

"I placed an order w/ this company on a Sunday night for a UV light kit for a computer mod. I received an email from them on Monday saying that my order had shipped. The UPS tracking # they gave me went to something for GA, while I live in TN. ??? I tried to call them for 4 days and sent 2 emails to get the right tracking number and all I got was an automated system that never connected me to anyone. When I finally got a human being on the phone, he was courteous, but not all that helpful in finding out what I need to know. He gave me the exact same incorrect tracking number twice. He said that the product was a backorder and would ship to me on 8-11-03. I figured I'd wait and see. Well it's 08-13-03 and they still can't tell me if my stuff has really shipped or if they are eating out on my visa. Granted, I didn't spend alot on this kit, it just would have been nice to have this company use a little customer service and do a little work to make sure I knew where my stuff was and when I would get it. Thank you for letting me vent."

"**Update 02/18/2004**
Got my down payment back today. Just as the guy at AIPCS/AI Computers promised. Looks like they are trying to turn this bad rap around. I hope the rest of you get yours back too. Upgrading my rating of this company again because they held to their word and gave me my money back..

**Update 02/05/2004**
After a long 7 months, 5 of which I have been pursuing a refund or delivery of my computer, AIPCS/AI Computers has agreed to give me a refund of my down payment on my financed order. I am told I have a check prepared and ready to be mailed. I am now setting my review of AIPCS/AI Computers up a few notches in good faith that I will actually receive the refund as promised. I believe AIPCS/AI Computers can turn this negative experience around and get back on track as a good quality company. When I receive my refund, I will post another update and upgrade my review even further.

"Promised delivery 7-9 days of this order date, no response when calling them, as they say to email instead. No response for 2 weeks. Finally, email is sent to me, with an ATI of July 16th. As of this date, July 26, no response back yet."
