"I got my lighted top pen from a business associate (My Home Estate Agents). I liked the quality of the promo giveaway - the lighted pen top is kind of a gimmick but it's fun and simple. The fat pen handles and writes nicely. The pen clip is smoothed just enough to not tear on a shirt or jacket pocket (important point as that can be a downer even for a freebie promo item). It's not ostentatious but just right, a touch of quality in a giveaway item. Seems to say "I value you as a customer or B2B supplier/associate" without going overboard. So when the ink ran out I ordered some refills because I like the pen (and have abiding respect for the business people I got it from)."
