"I placed the order online and never heard anything else. My charge card was, of course, charged. Once we called, we did get callbacks stating everything was on back order. NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING from this company. Finally, they said they'd refund in 3-5 business days. It's been almost three weeks and again, NOTHING!! I've turned it over to my bank card company. Good thing I didn't use my debit...BUYERS BEWARE...DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I wish I had checked the reviews on this company before I purchased from them. I have had similar experiences to those already described here. My order was immediately charged to my credit card. After a few days without receiving a shipment notice, I contacted customer service and was told the items I ordered were on backorder. They continued to tell me this for two months, after which I requested a refund. This was supposed to be credited to me in "5-7" business days. It has now been almost a month and the refund has not been processed. Now that I have requested a refund, customer service no longer responds to any of my emails.

Bottom line: do not order from this underhanded and fraudulent company. They will take your money whether you get what you paid for or not. "

"Never Order anything from A1 Nutrition! I placed an order with A1 Nutrition and they charged my card instantly. A few days later I checked the order. Everything had been back ordered. I waited over a month with several email inquires. No answer! I finally called. They said they could not give a time frame for shipment. I cancelled the order. Another month has gone by, still have not received any credit to my account. I have placed several calls with the same answer each time "money refunds take 5-7 days to process". It has been over a month at this time. I had now been in contact with the attorney Generals office. Do not order or purchase anything from A1 nutrition!!!"

"I can only agree with the other reviewer: I have ordered here in the past because they had the cheapest price for the expensive items that I was ordering from them. BUT...

Unfortunately, customer service is poor in several ways: While they respond politely within a few business days to e-mail inquiries through their website, they do not inform you about back-ordered items (and yes, there is always something back-ordered!). In addition, often there is no information available online either about the status of the order (you can check using your order number and your last name), and they don't inform you about when items are actually shipped. Shipping takes forever, so it's good if you order way in advance before you need the items. I do want to emphasize the main reason why I decided to not order from A1Nutrition again and why I wrote this review: The company charged the full amount of the order to my credit card on the day I placed my order, without giving me any information about when it will be shipped. Maybe this is not uncommon practice, but in my experience internet retailers charge your credit card once your order is about to be shipped (and not a month before). Also, there is no free shipping on orders larger than a certain $ amount (e.g., $100). They do give you a coupon that you can use the next time you order, but for me that coupon was always only $1!!

So I did my math and concluded to never order from them again."

"Pros: Great Price
Cons: Customer service is lacking. On two occasions I made an order for protein supplements and was greatly dissatisfied. No confirmation email was sent and after days without knowing my order status I contacted them and was told that the items were on back order. I believe it should be common courtesy for businesses to notify their customers for back orders. May be I'm wrong. Customer service is slow, an understatement, and shipping times are also sub par.
Summary: If price is all you care about, this is your site. Otherwise, spend your hard earned money elsewhere and get the service you deserve. "
