"This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a company. They contacted me days after my order with an e-mail saying I need to verify and complete my order by phone. Once I got around the no answering and hang ups I finally got in touch with the rudest customer service employee ever, and they also informed me that they don't have my product in stock anymore, and that I would either have to wait 6 weeks "if I'm lucky" he said, or cancel my order. I cancelled after the salesman gave me more attitude. I don't know how these losers are still in business. I DO NOT RECOMMOND THIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY"

"Same as every one else. Happened twice in two days. PLaced order for a camera. Called to check status. And they wanted me to buy a $100 4 gig sd card. i declined and they told me the order would ship later in the day. Found another great price on there web site for a GPS. Ordered and gave them a call to check on delivery. The sales person wanted to sell an expensivew charger for the unit which actualy made no sense to me. They went on to say the GPS would not work properly w/o it and could be damanged. I politely declined his offer and said i would take my chance, and just wanted the GPS unit. He then informed me it was not in stock. Today I recieved an email that the camera i ordered was out of stock and it would be in 3-4 weeks. I was able to cancel my order. Just a lot of wasted time. Hard to believe they are still in business. "
"I placed an order for a Sony HDR-SR11 Camcorder because they had a great price and the WEB site said the kit included all of the items in the box you would normally get from Sony. I received an email the next day asking me to call and verifiy my order. I did so and while on the phone the rep asked me if I wanted to order a battery and charger since the camera did not come with one. I quickly looked up the item on the WEB again and in black and white under the Kit Includes Tab, it state it include the battery and all of the other items in the standard Sony box. I told this to the rep and he said the WEB was incorrect. I told him this this was very deceitful and cancelled my order. DO NOT TRUST THEST PEOPLE. THEY ARE TRULY RIP-OFF ARTISTS!!!"

"Same story, but caught it before charged...order placed, then got the email 2 days later saying they needed to verify some information. That sparked a question in my mind, checked to make sure my credit card wasn't charged- called and cancelled the order and called my credit card company to alert if I get charged just in case...interesting article on below link to file a complaint. Mine isn't completely legit to file as I caught it before being scammed..although they were a bit annoyed that I cancelled the order.

After I kept on telling the guy that I didn't want these other items, he told me, "You are taking too much of my time, I'm just canceling your order." I then said, "Are you kidding me?" to which he replied, "How dare you talk to me like that." and then hung up on me. Unbelievable. At least I never got a charge on my credit card."
"ANOTHER VICTIM: I would not recommend these folks to anyone. Ordered a Zumo GPS. Got the standard call us because my order was missing information. When I called they tried to sell me an AC charger for $80, which costs $40 retail from Garmin. Then they tried to sell me a 1 GB SD card for around $100 that was supposed to be high speed, somehow I think the $25 8 GB one would work fine! The sales person said the GPS was in stock and ship in 14 days got the backorder e-mail about 30 minutes later, which was in October. Cancelled the first order and tried again, same MO, same story, no GPS. I also tried to leave a review on LowpriceDigital.com (Their 5 star rater) and it would not let me establish an account. Read the reviews they are all true and stay away from 86th Street and everyone on LowpriceDigital.com"
"SCAM SCAM SCAM!! BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a Canon SD 1100 on Black Friday (11/28/08) as a Xmas gift and called on 12/12 to see why it hadn't shipped. I was told that my camera was on backorder and would not arrive by Xmas. I was then informed that I could purchase an in-store kit, which Customer Service told me I'd have to do anyway because the camera I'd purchased was coming from overseas and the battery was useless. Besides, she said, the backordered one also has no guarantee. She acted as if I'd intentionally purchased a defective camera so what did I expect, something that worked? When I asked how much the kit was, she said "$320.00" but you get two batteries - at least I think that's what she said. The bottom line is they hook you with a low, low price and then befuddle you with information that's difficult to process in the hopes you'll just say OK. Don't. I cancelled my order (hopefully this won't be a problem) and purchased one from Butterfly Photo for $80.00 less and it was shipped the next day.

"Holy SCAM shop batman. I wish I would have visited this site before dealing with this ripoff of the week site. My experience is mirrored almost exactly in several of the reports I've read here from other unfortunate folks. I found they're web site and placed an order for a garmin Zumo 550. Then first thing I noticed when reading they're listed "box contents" was that the box contents from this site did not include standard items like the a/c charger and carring case. However never use those items on my other gps units I figured no need and placed my order. The next day I get an email informing me that I had to call they're 800 number to confirm my order. When I made the call, they're salesman tried to push the charger on me telling me how the gps would not work properly without it, and other such scammer lip service. I declined to purchase the extra gear and informed the salesman that every other source on the face of the planet that sells these things includes the charger and case in the factory sealed box. I got hung up on. I called back and got hung up on again. Two days later I got the infamous "we regret to inform you that your item has been back ordered for 4+ weeks". I called again, and dialed they're "customer service" extension but I swear it was the same rude SOBj that I spoke to on every other occasion. I told him to cancel my order and that I would be putting forth the truth about they're practices as much as I could. CLICK... hung up on again.
